I live 50 minutes out from here and I had a doctor appointment, I stopped here because I hadn't eaten on the way down and I wanted to try something new. On my way in, the host was nice and sat me at my table, the atmosphere wasn't bad. I was in a quiet corner and it seemed like slow day for them so it felt pretty peaceful to me. I had the Mac n cheese bowl and it was delicious! Very nice and hot and it all tested pretty fresh! It came with three garlic/butter bread and they were lightly toasted on one side and it was perfect. Chad was my waiter and he did a very nice job as well, he checked on me in timely manner that wasn't to much and he was very polite and calm. So I'd definitely say I'm very satisfied with my first experience, and I think it's a nice place to give a try if you hadn't eaten there before. Of course everyone experience will be different and not as good as mine, but this definitely deserves a chance, and if I come down here again I'll definitely come back and eat here! My only "complaint" is that I would've liked more broccoli in my Mac n cheese, but it was so good that it didn't even affect my experience.

My order was taken and a few minutes later, here's dinner: Meatloaf with steamed broccoli and a side salad. Filling, hot, delicious and plenty of it. I skipped the biscuits and cornbread, which I would ordinarily share with Mrs. K. but this was a solo trip and I'm sticking to my keto guns. A great meal and I sat with my laptop for a bit (Cracker Barrel has wifi now!) planning the next day's journey. After dinner, out to the van and locked up for the night. The parking lot is not huge because it is part of the gas station but it is sufficient. Our purchase from the Subway was a foot long Subway Club with provolone cheese, lettuce tomatoes, pickles, jalapenos, cucumbers, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper mayonnaise, and honey mustard. The Sandwich artist cut it in half as requested and wrapped it well. Plenty of napkins were included with the sandwich. We split the sandwich in half for our dinner in our hotel room. It was the perfect size and yummy dinner. Now that we know where the Subway is located it will become our routine evening meal when checking into the local hotel.
