Didn't eat much - family did so can't give an accurate review but the brick oven pizza was good - service was good

We have a rule never to eat Italian outside of a few cities. Since Michael Anthony's and Pomodori were so good we thought we would try something on the other end of the Island. We entered to signs on the door that masks were required by everyone. I love Covid protocalls being enforced but no one told us that when making a reservation. Luckily everyone had a mask in the car. As we entered a hand sanitizer station was before the hostess stand. We were not greeted well. We had a reservation and were talked to quite poorly by the hostesses. They seemed upset with the number in our party of 9 (which was on the reservation). We were seated at a table that was not prepared for us. There was nothing on the table, from no place settings to no salt and pepper or centerpiece. The food was not good. The menu is too large, they do not do any of it well. Our drinks were not good, not even sure the right person had the correct wine the way it was served to us. The sauce on the Fettuccini Alfredo had separated before it was served to us. One person's dinner which was the Special of the night, came after everyone else was finished. They did not take that meal off the bill. I can overlook some things due to eating out during a Pandemic, but every single turn was a misstep by this establishment. Bad service, bad food, and cold environment. I would not recommend.

Very homey feeling place, feels like italy. Masks mandate is an absolute joke. Food is really good. Great service, even tho the bread ain hot know what i'm saying. Water was very refreshing, and they kept asking to refill so that's hype. Also the store bought parmesan is clutch bc when u was growin up that's what you would have. The music was very catchy almost made me bust a move. Sort of a whole in the wall so you know the food finna smack. They also gave me a tiny box that fit my left over proportion perfectly. All in all, if you looking to quench ur hunger for not that much money this is the place for you, my plate was 15$. Also they will get you in and out on any day of the week.

The food is awesome. Pretty casual setting. Veal with smoked mozzarella was great. Prices for food/wine for Hilton Head were great value.

The Chilean sea bass was delicious. I dined with many Italian Americans--everyone was happy with sauce, meatballs, eggplant preparation, etc. The decor is dark and intimate and I love it all!!

I am not sure if we just caught them on a bad night, but overall the food was "meh". We arrived around 6 and were seated immediately. We started with a bottle of wine and they brought bread and garlic butter. The bread was nice and crusty and garlic butter was very good. I ordered the pear & gargonzola salad, which is normally one of my favorites. Unfortunately the baby mixed greens were not very fresh, when I was about halfway through I noticed browned leaves on my plate, which was not very appealing. Hubby ordered a ceaser salad and his lettuce looked much fresher and more appetizing than my salad. My next disappointment was when I wanted to order the Rotola di Spinaci. Our server said it was not avaliable. :-( I was in the mood for something with red sauce and there really weren't many options that sounded appealing to me since I dont eat beef or pork. The only other option I saw was eggplant parm, so I ordered that. Unfortunately the eggplant parm fell short for me. The eggplant was bland and tasted unseasoned. The homemade marinara was a little disappointing as well in that it wasn't a rich flavorful sauce. I would definitely not order this dish again here. My hubby ordered one of the specials - some sort of chicken with broccoli & green beans and pasta with a creamy white sauce. Hubs was pleased with his meal. Overall, the service was good, but not outstanding. I told my hubby after we finished that they probably just don't specialize in southern Italian dishes (with red sauce) because so many of the menu options were creamy or cheesy or butter/white wine sauce. If we decide to give them another try, I'd definitely stick to one of the white sauce options.

I returned to one of my fave places on the island Dec 12 with a local friend. We always visit this…read moreplace and another next door. This visit I had the filet mignon salad $26. My friend had the short rib lasagne ($26). My meal was absolutely perfect, everything seasoned/flavored perfectly. My friend's dish looked a little heavy for me but she loved it, also. We chose a nice wine, I Googled it: Banfi Belnero is a premium Super Tuscan IGT wine from Castello Banfi in Montalcino, primarily crafted from Sangiovese blended with international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. It features a deep ruby color with notes of black cherry, plum, spice, and vanilla, offering a full-bodied, structured palate with balanced tannins. Enjoyed 2 glasses of it ($32)! We split the chocolate Pot de Creme ($10) for dessert, so good. The restaurant was crowded, as we went a dinner time. Were lucky to get a table, in the bar area, near the window. Our server was running by and I didn't mind at all calling out to him, as he didn't check on us as much as the table to next to us, who were regulars. Once they left, he honored us with his presence, actually lingered to explain the quality of the wine we chose. I enjoyed this visit, although I am spoiled on getting much better service in Dallas, but every time I visit the islands, I try to remember to focus on the food, company and atmosphere.

I ordered the sterling filet mignon medium rare with additional onions... For the few slices of onion I had it was not worth the six dollars. The steak was so disappointing- not cooked the way I requested and for a dinner with one beer totaling $75 I would consider a rip off! We considered going to a different steak restaurant but the reviews were comparable so we thought we would try wise guys. Big mistake. The only thing good about our experience was the warm bread with butter. Our server never asked us how our food was and was not attentive. We were there on a Tuesday night so not a busy crowd. I will never be back and would never recommend this Restaurant.

We were lucky to get seated outside because the live music and views were immaculate. The oysters were super fresh.. so fresh in fact we found a little crab in one of them. We got it replaced promptly by our friendly waiter for a new one! I got the scallop risotto. It was good but not my favorite. The sauce was creamy but somewhat bland, which allowed for the perfectly cooked scallops to shine. My mom got the seafood pasta which was fantastic and flavorful. We met the manager who made the effort to talk to and get to know us! If we are back in Hilton Head, we will be back here!

The high-tops outside are great because they're completely covered, while the tables with umbrellas still get sun depending on where the sun is. They have several powerful fans outdoors plus the seating is comfortable with a great view of the trees, boat, and water. The crab punch cocktail was good, but the crab coconut rum tasted a little odd to me (their exclusive brand). I preferred the salty Chihuahua cocktail. All drinks are thankfully strong (everywhere else on the island they were weak). The Jalapeño hush puppies seem like they are made in-house, and they're very flavorful & crunchy. The hush puppies came with honey butter which was also amazing. The lunch grilled grouper fish taco was delicious & fresh. The salsa on it was very flavorful! The house-made potato chips are also great. Service was great (not rushed). They do need drink coasters (water was all over the table). We came back for dinner. They had live music. Abby& Taylor were the two different servers we had and they were both amazing. They did not rush us. The fried green tomatoes were very good with lots of pimento cheese and crunchy unlike the ones we had at Old Oyster Factory. The pineapple Mojito was good. Overall great experience!
