Very authentic Italian restaurant feel here. They brought out bread and butter before dinner. We ate all the bread. The food took a while, but we were visiting with another couple and the time flew by. Everything we ordered was really good. We liked the sauces. I shared a side Caesar salad, which was plenty for the both of us. I ordered and finished the lasagna and my partner ordered the Sorrentina. They have alfresco dining, but it was a little chilly so we ate inside. The food is good, but the price is reflected it. Lasagna $28 and Sorrentina $26. We will be back when we have a taste for Italian and we're in the area.

They are open late and serve pepperoni pizza for $6. Pizza overall is not the best I've had but it's passable for waiting in line. The service was quick and they were pretty friendly but it was interesting how the guy at the takeout window seemed to really want a tip haha! People as a whole was a nice and the place was pretty chill. Would come to after a night out!

My friends and I stopped by Il Farro to get a drink at the bar before we walked around the area. Our lovely bartender, Shayla, knew her way around the drinks for sure! She recommended popular drinks and guided us towards what we would like based on what we told her. I got a Mango Margarita that was balanced perfectly in terms of tequila and mango flavor. It almost felt like it wasn't a cocktail at all, yet I still got the kick! I also tried one of the Whiskey drinks and might have to open my mind to whiskey now. The staff here are so lovely and make up the restaurants long-time legacy. Loved having conversations with anyone that we came across because that's how natural it felt in here! It's definitely a family felt restaurant and even customers can see that love. I can't wait to come back to try the dishes!

Let's start with Rose, she is such a beautiful soul with such positive energy that just radiated throughout the restaurant! Food is amazing and don't forget the service they are definitely an A+! Can't wait to come back!

The service was friendly and attentive. Our server knew the menu well. The ambiance was not as great. The front is all open, which makes for a nice ambience, except that it was cold. The food was a disappointment. My husband had lobster ravioli. The pasta was too thick so it was very heavy. he usually has a good appetite, but he couldn't eat half of this dish. I had the seafood Farro, which had really good flavors. My problem with it was it seemed as though the muscles were cooked separately and then laid on top of the dish because they were cold. With all the great restaurants in the area, this one is a definite, no repeat.

Fabulous, authentic Italian food in Newport Beach down by the pier. Orange County, CA Indoor and patio seating available.

Was in a couple of nights for a soft reopening. Pastas were great! Lasagna, was the favorite. The fettuccine Alfredo was the most authentic I've had since working at an Italian restaurant in college...superb. Friendly staff, worth a stop. It's tucked away between Rockin' Baja and Stag, but can't miss the sign.

Francisco is rude. Too little people in the bar to be catching an attitude. $5 for a diet coke, all ice.

We came to this place on a Saturday night. We came to the takeout window to get some pizza and for $6, the slices are huge! The service was very quick and the people at the window were very nice. This is definitely a great place to go after a long night out, I loved the quick take out style ambiance. I would definitely come again for a late night food run.

Food was amazing, definitely a great spot when at the beach for lunch. Between three people we shared two appetizers & two lobster ravioli dishes & it was the perfect amount of food. Service was great as well & it wasn't too busy for a Monday afternoon.

We keep coming back! Welcoming, kind, attentive, accommodating for a large group, and food was delicious! Nice and fresh. The frozen lemon cello=divine

Had a great experience at Il Farro. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. Our server, Israel, was extremely attentive the entire time--always checking in at the right moments without being overbearing. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming, and the fact that they're pet-friendly made it even better. It really adds to the overall experience when you can enjoy a meal with your dog by your side. They also have great specials that are definitely worth trying. And the pizza... absolutely delicious. You can tell the quality is there in both the ingredients and the flavor. Highly recommend this spot--definitely coming back.

Incredible service! Fernando was personable, professional, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible birthday celebration! It was a packed Saturday night and we still received amazing service. Thank you, Fernando! We started off the night with some bread and an eggplant parm appetizer. The eggplant was amazing!! Our table shared a pizza that was delicious. Our group also ordered the ravioli, spaghetti, the monthly pasta special, chicken masala, spinach, and a Cesar salad with chicken. Everything was so good!! You should for sure go go Il Farro! Yummmmm!

The extraordinary thing about the Pasta Sisters is that they offer house made pastas, which guarantees a higher price point, but offers unparalleled texture. The spaghetti has a "bite" that you get from a true "al dente" pasta. Their cheese tortellini were incredibly rich and cheesy, but a touch salty. The drawback of this location is that it's a ghost kitchen. You order it online and the order will be ready for you when you come in to pick it up. The location does not have seating, and you eat it at your own convenience. If you live/work locally, then this can be definitely worth checking out. Because I live out of town, I have to enjoy it either in my car, after a long drive home, or at my wife's office; however, I want to enjoy these $20 pastas in a restaurant, with wine and good company. A ghost kitchen is very different than a restaurant experience. I hope they do choose to bring their restaurant to the OC one day.

If not, I'll move on to the next place. This place has been family owned for three generations, and the owner was really friendly, which got me excited to try it. I ordered a traditional pepperoni slice, and he even gave me a sample of their marinara sauce, which was a nice touch. The pizza itself was just average. The sauce, cheese, and pepperoni were all okay, but nothing really stood out. My biggest issue was the crust. It was really floppy and didn't have that light crunch on the bottom that I look for in a good New York style slice. When I picked it up, it just folded over. The marinara sample was decent too, but it also tasted pretty average. I always try to be fair with my reviews, and this definitely wasn't a bad slice. It just wasn't one that made me want to come back for more.
