    $14.89 worth of cookies
    Esther T.

In the mood for some Italian cookies, I picked up a little box from here. I ordered a couple each of the kinds I liked which came to 6 cookies and 6 pcs of rainbow cookies. Total was $14.89 which seemed a little pricey. The butter cookies were OK. The ones with apricot and raspberry jam & sprinkles were solid. But the round ones with a jam center were not good. A lot of reviews said they had the best rainbow cookies and I'd have to disrespectfully disagree. The almond flavor was far too overpowering. The chocolate to cake ratio was off. Far too much chocolate for how thin the rainbow layers were. Same for the jam, too much for the layers. If they thicken the layers, then these might be perfect. OK bakery. Def not the best.

Absolutely love this bakery! Everything is always fresh, the cakes and pastries are delicious, and the quality is consistently amazing. You can really taste the care they put into everything they make. Highly recommend!

I was in the neighborhood so I decided to revisit this bakery. I used to work around there in 2022 and prices have doubled since then. The desserts look at taste just as good, however, I gave them 4 stars because my coffee (americano) tasted burnt. Plenty of indoor seating and plenty of desserts to choose from, including Halloween themed desserts. Aside from the Americano, I got the pistachio dessert (a little bit too sweet for my taste) and the coffee and caramel dessert that was just right in sweetness.

Disappointed...I was really craving a muffin for breakfast, and when I walked into the bakery, the carrot cake muffin immediately caught my eye. It looked great -- I was excited. Unfortunately, that excitement didn't last. When I got to the office and sat down to eat, I discovered the muffin was hard on the outside, didn't taste anything like carrot, and worst of all -- the inside was still raw batter. I ended up tossing the whole thing in the trash. Super disappointing. I expect better quality from a bakery. Won't be returning anytime soon.

I have been coming here for their rainbow cookies for 6 years and they STILL are my favorite that I have ever had! Unlike most places, they are perfectly moist and in my opinion have a perfect ratio of jam/almond flavor/cake layer/chocolate. So flavorful - No notes!

Everyone and their mother was saying this place has the best rainbow cookie in NYC and since it's Christmas time, I had to get a rainbow cookie here. My friend and I shared a slice of the rainbow cookie cake and I also ordered four rainbow cookies to bring home. Yes, I know it's rainbow cookie overload so good thing Christmas is only once a year. I was pleasantly surprised that this was not another overrated place from TikTok. The rainbow cookies were moist, had even layers of chocolate/cake/raspberry jam, and there was a thick chocolate layer. I'll admit, this was the best rainbow cookie in NYC and I've been to most of the Italian bakeries in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It was worth the trip so I'll definitely be back next year!

Rainbow cookie cake is exceptional. Great flavor, perfect size for a small group of people. Other pastries we ordered also delish and fresh tasting. Always a great selection of baked goods.

This has to be one of the best rainbow brownies I've ever had! Will definitely come back, so many options to choose from.

I was so happy to find this place near by Airbnb in Astoria. They have a huge selection of sweet and savory baked goods and other breakfast and sandwich/deli items. Plenty of drinks, too. I ordered an iced latte a few times and the large size is ample (24 oz, I think) and they use good Italian espresso so it actually tastes like coffee. The pastries I tried were all great, especially the macarons. I also had an omelette and it was huge and had tons of veg mixed in. I really enjoyed everything I tried here and highly recommend stopping in.

Stop your search & look no further. This place is fantastic for all baked good needs. Extraordinary. Detailed. Delicious & almost too pretty to eat! I was blown away by their work. I will most definitely be a returning customer and will recommend them to anyone looking for wonderful work. All of my future events will be catered by them. 100%!!!

I requested a quote online and go a phone call back. It was quick, I believe the same day. Someone called to confirm small remaining details. (that was great) I was 100% with quality and taste of cake. Did not disappoint! When I went to pick, staff was very friendly. I ended up more treats. I brought their Nutella cupcakes red velvet, turkey theme cupcakes and a small Nutella cake. Everything was good. Will definitely come back.

I called them Friday evening for a last minute custom birthday cake and they saved the day and were able to squeeze me in and have a cake ready for my birthday party the next day. The team was very accommodating and did a great job and I will come back for my next cake. It was delicious and beautiful

The service was very good and the people behind the counter and the waiter were nice. I had the pastrami sandwich with a side of Cole slaw and a Dr. Browns soda which came out to $43 ($50 with tip). The sandwich was solid, but it seemed small. The pastrami cut thin, stacked and was moist and flavorful. The rye bread was ok but not the best rye I've had. The sandwich comes dry and I added mustard which was on another table. The coleslaw was just ok for me. It was very tart and had too much vinegar for my liking. All in all it was a good experience except for one thing - the price. Call me old school but I have a hard time with a $50 lunch. I understand that things are expensive these days and that this is New York City, but this I have a hard time reconciling $50 for just an everyday lunch. If price is not a factor, then I think this is a 4, but when considering the price I gave it a 3. It's a great spot if you want to have the NYC deli experience or if price is no issue to you. For me I am glad I experienced this NYC icon, but I don't think I would ever become a regular. I'll keep searching for my spot.

There was a line, of course, there always is, and the wait was longer than what we were willing to endure for fare as simple and as common as a sandwich. It was worth the 20-minute wait.
