I love this dive bar. It's basically a family hangout. Cheap strong drinks, and patrons who have been regulars for over 30 years!

Definitely giving this place a five star review because while waiting in a literal rain storm and a…read morepower outage moment we were still able to get seating here from the awesome staff and restaurant manager(?) Well, on vacation I wanted to try this place as it was a part of my gluten-free restaurant lineup and I'm so happy we waited to try it. Among the other plates that we got, we did try the "not a cuban" sandwich, the creamy mac & cheese, and some more of their "summer lovin" drinks The pulled pork was amazing as it was perfectly slow cooked, had a nice subtle Smokey flavor, and pulled apart like butter in your mouth. I was happy to see all their gluten free options and they even had house made gluten free batter blend for sale in the front. The place overall is a vibe. They have a lot of cool local events with live music, half off burgers on Thursdays, and even a boozy brunch from 10 AM to two on Saturdays and Sundays. I'd recommend coming to try the BBQ here as it was delicious and reminded of a very popular BBQ place back home. Great place for family eating with outdoor seating and indoor seating.

PROS: Waitress was very pleasant, drinks and clam chowder are delicious. The atmosphere is cute,…read morewith a "sailor" feel, and there are TVs for sports fans. CONS: Ribs are super salty and fatty. They really shouldn't be "fall off the bone," but soft enough to pull off with your teeth. There is a clear window in some areas of the restaurant, so you might get some sun in your eyes, depending on the day. Overall, we won't be returning here again.

Fine dining experience with a pleasantly relaxed vibe…read more They offer a fixed course dinner most nights of the week except Wednesday and Sunday. We ended up there on a Wed (happened to be our anniversary) so I only experienced the à la carte menu. Highly recommend reservations as it's a small restaurant. Parking is limited but you can park in the lot of a nearby furniture store ( across the street and a half a block east). Our server ( Maeve) is very pleasant and helpful. All staff members we encountered greeted us and seem happy to be working there. Not a full bar but many nice choices. We enjoyed Pinot noir from Oregon. We had delicious oysters, a fresh salad, Portuguese clams, and a swordfish dish. Also had a "fancy" Hoodsie dessert that was quite good. All our items were first rate. Other dishes served at neighboring tables also looked great. Noise level in restaurant is very tolerable. Pricing seemed very reasonable given quality. **** It merits stating that this restaurant( Lune) is well staffed for the number of customers they serve. We had terribly slow service the night before at Viera on Main ( Chatham) because they don't have enough staff. Lune provided very attentive service to go with their high food quality and flavor.

A return visit tonight to Lune Restaurant in Dennis Port yielded a lovely experience. The food was…read moregreat, the service was skilled, and the atmosphere was understated. The meal was almost perfect--nearly all of the courses were introduced expertly and executed with haute precision. The prix fixe menu is offered on weekends, and it looked, as you can see, exciting. My favorite courses were the caviar and dessert. The white asparagus course was inspired and delicious, though it needed another minute or two to achieve a perfect texture. The sous vide veal breast was a miss. The ratio of meat to fat skewed too heavily toward fat. The diners I observed around me at the bar all left fat on their plates. That said, the sauce and spinach accompaniments were delicious. The bread, optional caviar, and dessert courses were brilliant. The wine pairings fell a bit flat, I thought--they were all good, but none compelled me to ask for more or to see the labels for later purchase. I loved watching the culinary theater from the bar seating. It was a bit more hectic than I recall from my last visit, but it was clear that the staff were working hard and collaborating effectively. A talented local artist's work on the walls here could definitely elevate the ambiance.
