    Capicola & Fig
    Andres T.

I got a cold brew and it was really good compared to other locations. The Capicola and Fig sandwich was really good and a lot better than expected. The sandwiches are a bit pricey but they taste better than some sandwiches places in LA. There's a lot of seating areas inside and outside. The staff was really nice and fast when making your order.

Great matcha! I love that they use unsweetened traditional Matcha powder, and they even use a homemade syrup just out of honey and hot water. One of the only cafés in downtown where you can actually get a Matcha that is naturally sweetened with honey. It comes in a 16 ounce cup so if you really like the taste of a deeper flavor of Matcha, just ask them to put less milk and only fill the cup up halfway or add an extra shot of Matcha.

My husband and I wandered into this charming cafe in DTLA before heading across the street to the Orpheum for some music . Dorian was an attentive and personable host; asking about the show we were heading to, and she made me perhaps the best handmade mocha I have ever had in my life! While I was delighted with my coffee beverage my husband was equally delighted with his Peroni beer. We had eaten beforehand otherwise we would have tried the food. The pot pies looked AMAZING! There will most definitely be a next time If you're in the area put this spot on your list

Really nice cafe! Got the caprese sandwich and it was so delicious. The bread was perfectly crusty and crispy. Also ordered an iced latte and a matcha both were very good. Staff is friendly too.

Avacado toast is so good, the vibe of the cafe is very chill and relax. pets friendly

Stopped by ilcaffe for a quick matcha, i usually like tons of sweetener but this was perfect! They have food, wine, good vibes and the owner was so helpful and friendly! Definitely coming back

I absolutely love the touch this café brings to everystreet corner it populates. The selections of wine and pastries are absolutely wonderful for my apartment to sit outside on the street and enjoy the shade in the afternoon. I had a double shot with heavy whipping cream steamed to give that thick rich flavor they threw a sugar in the row over the top the flavor of the coffee and wonderful bowl to it and the aftertaste was wonderful. This is definitely the perfect place to come in and start , or finish your day with the glass of wine and a lovely pastry whatever it is you'll find yourself, relaxed and satisfied

This place has a super chill/cool vibe and the coffee, espresso and food are amazing. You sit inside or out front. I loved this place and looked forward to going first thing in the morning. Nice staff, too.

I had an avocado turkey Sandwich it was very delicious. And a mocha I asked for hot it was warm. Taste was good just could have been hotter. Service was okay could have been better they were busy so not very friendly or welcoming. Ambiance is nice they had lots of inside and outdoor sitting.

Location is a bit catchy, the street is sometimes stinking. Once you get in, the vibe is pretty comfy with coffee and danish smells. I love the apple danish, it's not only pleasant looking and the taste is awesome with the right sweetness. Their coffee is awesome too. Will comeback soon to try other items on the menu.

Friendly staff, cool Italian food selection and my favorite: non-alcoholic bitters. I also love the location - they try to make Broadway a better place.

The pickup area can also get blocked by the line or waiting area, which can make it a little awkward when you're trying to reach over someone to grab your drink. I ordered the Coconut Hojicha and the Matcha Einspanner. The Coconut Hojicha was refreshing, nutty, and definitely the standout of the two. It's such a fun twist on the typical matcha coconut drink, and I have to give Damo their flowers for creating something that feels unique. The Matcha Einspanner wasn't particularly stand-out compared to some of the other cafes in K-Town, but it was still a well-balanced drink with a nice mix of bitterness, sweetness, and creaminess. I can definitely see why so many people consider Damo one of their favorite cafes. Despite the crowded setup, the drinks are creative and thoughtfully done!

Seating is limited, though they do offer a few outdoor tables and a bench inside while you wait for your drinks. The service was great. The employees were friendly, welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. As for the coffee, it unfortunately wasn't my favorite. I tried the Cloud Latte and found it a bit too thick, lacking the smoothness and flavor I was hoping for. I also tried the Cinnamon Cloud, which was smoother but still tasted fairly bitter to me. Coffee preferences are subjective, of course, but the flavor profile just didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, I enjoyed everything else about the experience and would be willing to come back and try a few different drinks from the menu. The service and ambiance were definitely highlights of the visit.

I stumbled across their Yelp page when I was visiting from out of town and checked the Instagram for their hours on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to see they were open! I am a sucker for pop-up coffee shop/cart concepts so I had to check it out. The pop-up is easy to find, it's outside facing into the parking lot, and they had a cute A-frame sign out by the street side. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. It's a very cute and cozy coffee shop and there was no line when we arrived. The menu had a huge selection of different coffee and tea drinks and also a seasonal menu. The staff were very kind and patient and swiftly prepared the Vienna Latte and Hojicha Latte we ordered. The Vienna Latte is so visually stunning, the layers of white milk, brown espresso, thick white cream, brown cocoa powder and Biscoff layered on top of each other against the dark green logo was so aesthetic. Having a sip before mixing the Vienna latter was incredible, the sweet cream followed with the nutty strong espresso flavour then getting a refreshing splash of milk made a great combo with the Biscoff. I actually liked the drink less after its all mixed because it was too creamy for my taste. (I normally like my coffee black) My hojicha latte was great, but it was also too milky for me. So I went up and asked if it would taste good dirty, with an espresso shot in it, and the barista said yes. I ordered an espresso shot and instead of charging me full price, they only charged me the add on espresso shot for the drink! ($1.50 instead of $4) It was very kind of them since it was absolutely my mistake for not ordering the right drink in the first place. I ordered the Orange Mint Latte, Matcha Sparkling Lemonade, Einspanner White, Hibiscus Mint Sparkling Lemonade, and of course, a cortado. I also tried their Wagyu Sliders. Every drink was fantastic. What I really enjoyed was how different each one was from the next. It didn't feel like I was ordering variations of the same drink -- each had its own flavor profile, presentation, and unique touch. The Orange Mint Latte was especially interesting, and both sparkling lemonades were refreshing and completely different from what I would normally order. The Einspanner White was another standout. Overall, it was a really fun variety to try at once. The cortado was also very good. It had a nice flavor, smooth texture, and was easy to drink. Their approach is a little different from a traditional cortado presentation because the espresso and milk are fully integrated together rather than finished with latte art. I actually appreciate that style when it's executed well because the focus is more on getting the espresso and milk completely incorporated into one cohesive drink. The presentation across the entire order was also really well done. You can tell there's thought behind how everything is served and put together, which adds to the overall experience. The Wagyu Sliders were great as well. I think the food side of Archives of Us deserves more attention because they have some genuinely good food options to go along with the drinks rather than the food feeling like an afterthought. The space itself is beautifully designed with plenty of seating inside as well as an outdoor seating area. Vanilla latte: 8/10 great taste but they charge you for a latte and give you a cup almost as small as that of an espresso which was really annoying. I don't mind if it's small but at least charge accordingly. Avocado toast: 1/10 was sweet for some odd reason and the avocado was already turning black when I received it . There is a section where the cafe has various albums hanging on the wall. [Menu]: Some of the highlighted items to order here are Mason Latte, Hojicha Latte, and Brisket Burrito. Kitchen items are served from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. *** Steak Breakfast Burrito (24-hour marinated steak, crispy tots, cheddar, pico de gallo, scrambled eggs, avocado, homemade aioli, served with housemade green aji or red salsa - $21.00): I was given a buzzer only to realize it was for the food order and not the drink. The green sauce was very vinegary with a slightly spicy kick. The burrito itself was not bad as it had all the right ingredients. It took about 10 minutes for the kitchen to prepare this order. Mason Latte (Double shot Espresso, whole milk, homemade brown butter caramel, sea salt - iced $7.75): This drink had to be mixed and shaken first. A solid latte and not too sweet. The flavor was a tad light, but not bad. *** While no food or drink in particular made this place stand out among all other amazing coffee shops in Los Angeles, this is still a solid all-around coffee shop in my book. A big thumbs up on good interior vibe and easy parking.
