    Grilled Cheese and Fries
    Mario W.

Good Pre-Concert Quick Bite! Stopped by Bread + Butter with my wife before a concert at The Theater, and for a quick bite in an overpriced food court, this spot was a pleasant surprise. I went with the grilled cheese and fries, which might just be the best deal in the building. Simple, satisfying, and just enough to keep me fueled without the burden of leftovers. No one wants to be that person stashing a to-go box under their seat at a concert. My wife went all-in with the loaded tots. Think crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside tots, drenched in southwest queso, bacon bits, green onions, and a sprinkle of steak shavings so thin you'd need a magnifying glass to appreciate them. Flavor-wise, it worked. Texture-wise, the steak added something, even if it wasn't a showstopper. All in all, Bread + Butter hit the spot. It won't change your life, but if you're hungry, short on time, and already surrendering your wallet to casino prices, you could do way worse.

Very convenient if staying or visiting at the Casino and the food was tasty. The atmosphere was okay.

Omg- so good. The cornbread was served with honey butter that made it almost desesert like. But the cornbread itself was savory, so there was a perfect balance. So good! The crab cake was unbelievable. So good. (Similar to what you would get at a pappadeaux for context.) Literally a showstopper. The shrimp and grits were really good too. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and were sweet and juicy. The grits were good, but personally I like more cheese in them. But adding the crystal hot sauce made up for it. Just an amazing meal! Our server Luna was super friendly, hard working and we so enjoyed her! She is a real asset to this place! Great job and great food!

My cousin and I stopped by on Friday, June 12, 2026, craving one of our favorites--the pimento burger. As usual, we grabbed two open seats at the bar that had just been vacated. A waiter greeted us and said he would return after cleaning the area. Another staff member brought us water, and we waited to place our order. While waiting, I noticed a couple sit down at the bar near us. To my surprise, the first waiter immediately went over to them, took their order, and prepared their drinks while my cousin and I continued to sit there without any acknowledgment. I eventually asked the waiter if he was assigned to our section, and he confirmed that he was. I then asked why the couple had been served before us when we had arrived first. His flippant response was, "Because they're regulars." I replied that, with good customer service, I could become a regular too. He then shrugged and said, "They know management." Thinking I must have misunderstood, I asked him to repeat himself. He again said, "They know management." What bothered me most was not that regular customers were recognized. Great hospitality includes making loyal guests feel appreciated. The problem was the message that seemed to be conveyed--that some customers are more deserving of attention than others because of who they know. When I expressed concern, the waiter appeared dismissive and uninterested in addressing it. Instead of clarifying or apologizing, he repeated the same explanation and shrugged off our concerns. At that point, my cousin looked at me and asked, "Are you ready?" We got up and left without ordering anything. This experience was especially disappointing because it was so different from the positive visits I've had here before. We came expecting good food and a welcoming atmosphere, but instead left feeling ignored and undervalued. I hope management takes customer service seriously and addresses situations like this. Every guest should feel welcomed and respected, whether they are a first-time visitor, a regular, or someone who knows management. Unfortunately, this experience makes me reluctant to return anytime soon. I can't say that I wouldn't recommend Succotash National Harbor, as I've enjoyed many good meals there in the past, but this visit left a lasting negative impression. To make matters worse, my cousin and I never even got the chance to order the pimento burger we came for .

We started with the **buffalo chicken wings** (crispy, well-seasoned, served with blue cheese and ranch) and the **Korean-style cauliflower bites** tossed in a sweet chili glaze with sesame seeds and scallions easily the table favorite. The **beef short rib egg rolls** were a fun twist, served with two dipping sauces and pickled peppers that gave it a nice kick. For mains, the **bistro steak with chimichurri and frites** was cooked a perfect medium-rare and the herb sauce was bright and punchy. The **shrimp scampi pasta** was creamy and rich with perfectly fried shrimp on top. The **steak Cobb salad** was loaded sliced bistro steak over lettuce with eggs, cherry tomatoes, corn, red onion, and blue cheese crumbles. Generous and satisfying. Don't skip the **skillet cornbread** it arrives in a Lodge cast iron pan, golden and slightly crispy on the edges, with a scoop of whipped honey butter that melts right in. Absolutely worth it. Great atmosphere, solid service, and a menu that has something for everyone. Will definitely be back.

They close at 9. * One of us received the wrong order and had to wait longer * Another received their side with our check which came out 10 minutes after getting our food. But don't worry they took it off our over $300 bill. Good god Redstone, that's the best you could do?! I will never eat here again, and I will never recommend this restaurant to anybody. Do I blame the waiter? Only partially. Because with what we experienced as a whole, terrible management and terrible kitchen. Update: I don't know how to respond directly to you Ryan but unfortunately our party of 7 was only in town a few days to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Truly though, the lack of service couldn't have been lost on our server or your mngmt that evening (unless we were just that ignored and overlooked sitting in the middle of your outdoor space) because it should've been made right that same evening with even a simple apology or explanation for the night as a whole by your manager. Hopefully our experience was a one time deal for you and it'll be lost in sea of 5 star ratings. But no thank you, we won't be coming back.

So, we decided to have breakfast here the following morning. Our waiter, Roderick, did a wonderful job taking care of us. He answered all our questions and made any changes we requested which made our meal more enjoyable. I had the avocado toast and eggs over medium. I loved my meal. But to be honest, if there's a next time I'll order eggs over easy. My husband had the Oat Milk Protein Pancakes short stack. He ordered a side of scrambled eggs. He was kind enough to let me have a bite. The pancakes were full of blueberries and pistachios. They were tender and topped with almond coconut cream. Mmmm. They were great! My nephew had the country scramble. It included sausage and bell peppers. It was all gone in a blink. My niece had buttermilk pancakes and eggs. She enjoyed the pancakes but commented that the eggs were a little over cooked. The restaurant is beautiful and located in the National Harbor area walking distance from our resort. All in all, Vincent knew what he was talking about. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we'll probably return later this week for dinner. It's open until 11 PM! Y'all should come!
