St. Elmo's is a great coffee pub with a full bar. They offer pastries as well as savory items. I opted in to get a hot chocolate and a yogurt parfait cup. The place was pretty busy with patrons. There were a lot of people who were there working. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

A coffee shop with beer, wine and a full wet bar! Pretty awesome! Service was slow but that was understandable because the place was packed for a Friday morning. I ordered a dirty chi latte with an extra shot of espresso and it was made to perfection! Overall it was a great experience. Not many coffee shops have a full wet bar, wine tasting and a happy hour. Cool place!!!

Food is good, Just felt it's overpriced for the smaller size. $14 for salmon toast is questionable

St Elmo's is a jewel in the OTN neighborhood. It's great place to grab a latte and delicious breakfast sandwich or gluten free bakery treat. We also love their wine events. It is my kids first stop when they come into town.

Been to St Elmos on a few occasions and everytime i have been. They have done great job. Seating is great as they have indoor and outdoor options. Very unique seating options as well. Have a great selction of music as well. If you go at the right time its a very chill spot to work or just have a bite or drink. Also let me not forget to metntion the piano (Not for kids) Thier coffee is delcious and never had a homemade pop tart until i came here. Today was my first time having a adult bevy here. They did awesome with my mule and they are actively working on a drink menu for this location. Highly recommend them for breakfast lunch and drinks....hmm i mean dinner.

Salmon sandwich with one little piece of salmon

Seriously? You just cannot serve a $13 untoasted sandwich in aluminum foil for people who are eating in. I am appalled. And the plastic bag. Shriek! The salmon sandwich was not toasted, only had one little piece of salmon (see picture), and was just not pleasing to the eye or mouth. And it was $12.99! The avocado toast sounded good on paper but was disappointing. The bread was toasted to resemble a wooden board, just super hard. Little avocado that didn't look fresh - see color. And the topped cheese was not feta but some sort of odorless and tasteless cheese, and HARDboiled eggs. Yikes! Costed $9.99 The coffee had no kick. All together over $40 breakfast that was more than disappointing. The service was weird. They were not really welcoming. If you're not at the counter the very second your name is called, they scream it in 1sec intervals. Just why? The atmosphere is not inviting.

$15 for a chicken Caesar salad that looks like airplane food. Does this look worth it to you?

Found this location while walking around Old Town, farther up from the water due to flooding. Located in a busy area (no idea on parking) as we were walking. It was very busy, but line moved pretty fast. Plenty of seating inside & out, Staff was friendly enough. This spot seemed dog friendly as we saw three customers with dogs inside seating/ordering area. We went with a medium drip coffee and a breakfast burrito. The coffee was hot & very good with a smooth flavor. I tried Oat milk as the half/half was empty (pretty busy), it was actually pretty good. The burrito was delicious, loved the flavor and it seriously will bring me back. Coffee & Burrito was around $14 which is in-line with area.

Unfortunately, whoever the individual was on shift today was just a total piss poor person - she seemed to have an issue with our party, as she automatically assumed we just came there to 'squat' without ordering anything (if you have been to this place before, there isn't much seating and this isn't where you'd want to sit for a bit anyway); when I called her out and stated that I already knew our party's orders, she backtracked. She then continued to make a snide comment on the number of drinks we were ordering - what's with the passive aggressiveness? I didn't know that there was some rule that each person was required to order something. Like, are you okay? I just had a bad feeling about all of this, and we should have just walked out instead of giving our money to support this business - to add to it all, the coffees that we did receive (latte with soy milk, and the mocha) were just poorly made and not strong at all; they were both watered down and bitter at the same time... come on! UGH, the regret, but it was a choice. Shame on you, Via Volcán! You might want to heavily reconsider who you employ and train them better - this individual is really hurting your business! By 10:30 am though, there were many more customers and all tables were taken. So come here by 10 am if you want to nab a table. The drinks I had here so far are: - Bluebell espresso soda - brisk, fruity, and refreshing. It has an intriguing complex blend of flavors (jasmine, blamango, coconut). Really unique! - Rose cardy latte (iced with little ice, oat milk) - delightfully sweet and refreshing. It was not too sweet and has light floral tones. Service was very friendly and quick. A busy, hip, modern co-working space with relaxed vibes and coffeehouse tunes. I hate Starbucks as much as the next ALX millennial stay-at-home dog mom DINK, but the ONE thing I applaud is 100% confirmation on whether the customer would like their pastry warmed. Why Del Ray and Old Town coffeeshops don't consistently ask this is a head scratcher. Of all my regular haunts, only Buzz's Bakery gets this right. With 5 folks behind the bar, I hope Hypergoat considers adding this simple inquiry to their spiel while ringing up pastry-ordering customers.

They deff have regulars. It's smal and cozy; the furniture is mismatched and i LOVE that. Now, if you have customer-anxiety, i like to call it, i would deff look at the menu beforehand so you know what to order. I walked in and there was a couple sitting closest to the cash register and i was like "oup!! can't take too long. everyone knows i'm here and i need to make a quick decision" so i just ordered quickly without really the taking time to look at the menu (whenever i go to new coffee spots i like i choose a fun, unique drink if they have it and i just derped). It was honestly perfectly. I like my iced coffees sweet but not too sweet. I didn't have to add anything but i could still taste the coffee profile. it was a joy to drink. for a bite to eat, i had the corn muffin (pretending to make myself feel better about eating something "healthy"). It was AMAZING. Totaled around 11 bucks. Definitely crumbled easy while eating it, as I was breaking pieces off with my hands while I chatted. All in all, i'd come again for sure.
