Because I'm not on an account there, EVEN THOUGH my husband is. Went to my bank across the street (Bank of America), and the notary there thought it was ridiculous that happened. Having been a notary for 10 years myself, I know he was being an azzh0l3. All of my ID was in order so he easily could have authenticated my signature... on the same document he notarized for my spouse. Ridiculous and officious employee.

These checks are stamped with a name of Henry Madison. They put deposits into your account totalling the money you have in there, then tell you you have 30 minutes to wire them their funds back as a show of good faith. Then another woman pops in from a back office, I'm guessing the manager, & she tells me it's always been $200. I stated to her about my having the $100/min since I opened it. Then she asks the cashier (full circle)! Then it was determined that it my acct was from the days of First Friendly & they don't grandfather accounts,... even to keep customers, & that First Personal will be out soon with ALL SORTS OF NEW FEES. At that time, a withdrawal slip was requested & I withdrew my entire amount....with the cashier asking me if I still wanted to go below the $200/min to avoid fees (lol)!! I laughed, shook my head, told her to give me my money & let me gtf out of here. NOW!.....do what I did & go down to Byline Bank at Archer & New England & ask for the manager, Mikalya Fuentes. Professional & very personable, she advised me that their senior checking account would fit me well...$100 to open but NO minimum balance to keep, & free checks, & no B.S.

My daughter was in a small accident with the car purchased here. The body shop called and informed me that this car had been completely totaled previously and was shipped from overseas. He said the frame was twisted and that the car had 110k miles on it. When we bought it it showed 60k and they had a clean carfax. They obviously rolled back the mileage. I should have walked out the minute I stepped in. This place is extremely shady.
