First time here and glad I took my cousin with me so she knows this is a great place like I thought it is! I love every detail they had to take care of their clients. I noticed it all and thankful they know how to care for their customers and I really appreciated the ladies help with great suggestions which other places just let you fail to choose what's best for you and are impatient when you're wanting to make sure you get the right stuff done. Other places I've been to have beverages available but never offer and it shockingly pleasant to have the guy offer something to drink while the others do what they do best! And they had chargers next to you ready for you to charge your phone. Hooks to hang your purse rather than leaving on the floor. Oh and they encourage you to relax and affirming that they're taking care of you. The ladies made us laugh too! The place was really clean and lovely inside. I had a beautiful girl named MiMi, who did my nails. My nails were perfect. In fact, the best job I have ever had done. Well I guess you get what you pay for? Inexpensive pedi for poor performance. I decided to try this place for a change to have a new pedi experience. Boy was I disappointed. First off the gal spoke little to no english for even a minimum conversation, Second off she used very little strength for the SHIN massage, that's right Not even a Foot massage (usually the highlight of a pedi) and lastly the polish I picked out was a crackle but I had no way of knowing. I asked to have the toes repainted and got no apology. I think the manicurist is responsible for explaining what kind of paint will be put on my toes. Needless to say I will Not be going back and do not recommend this nail salon! I'll be going back to my old salon NAIL SAVVY in Hillsdale; A welcome reprieve to this nail salon. read more

I had a walk-in visit earlier this week for the first time. I give this a much deserved 5 stars. The staff was welcoming and offered beverages. I got just a pedicure and he did a fantastic job and was super kind. I got the hot stone message and I definitely recommend it. My feet felt sooo good! My feet & legs can swell up sometimes and the circulation it gives was just what I needed. It was super clean and that really showed on how they present themselves for total transparency. Clean but not thorough with pedicures....don't serve drinks, charge an extra $1 for file & $2 for the styrofoam sandals. Pedicure advertised to last 60 min only lasted 45 min. I came here because it's close to my work but I won't be back. read more

Good job for the price $19 for a longer lasting nail polish, shellac does not last long on my nails. The tech was nice but I would have appreciated a wall clock for having her come back to let me know that my drying time was up. I hope this style of polish by OPI lasts longer than a few days! I love this place! Lynn is the best. She is so sweet and has a great sense of humor, so we always have a great time. All the nail techs are very talented and they usually have one for walk-in or same day appointments. They also offer complimentary wine, mimosas, coffee or tea! I always bring cash because they offer a 5% cash discount. Finally the best part is the atmosphere. It has a really pretty aesthetic and feels upscale with the chandeliers. As a first impression this salon is very beautiful. It's clean and modern. I scheduled an appointment and Lynn did my nails. I got acrylics since my nails are very thin and kept breaking. I asked for a shorter coffin shaped set. Lynn listened and did exactly what I wanted. She took her time and is very neat. I was impressed by the way she cleaned around the edges after painting the gel polish. She also gave good recommendations and had a plan to get my nails strong again. I highly recommend this salon. They had really great customer service and asked if I wanted anything to drink. They acknowledged me as soon as I walked in and made me feel welcomed. I am definitely going back. read more

This was an odd experience. I get dip manicures and this salon got me in last minute which is why I'm giving them two stars. The location is great for me and I liked how clean it was but as soon as I sat down the lady helping me wasn't happy. She asked if I wanted a pedicure as she started to remove the dip polish that was already on and I said no. What she did not explain was that the dip was going to take awhile to remove and she made me feel bad about it after it took 43 minutes to remove. I get this manicure regularly and it usually takes about 15 minutes. This wasn't a problem that it took so long but the lady was clearly mad that she had to take so much time to help a customer and didn't get the extra pedicure in. If she had explained that the dip would take a long time to remove I likely would have done the pedicure. She also got into a heated argument with another employee about a scheduling conflict while I was sitting in the chair. She was also upset I didn't bring a file set and when she got one out she kind of threw it on the table. Just so much passive aggression. To top off the experience, my nail color is translucent and you can see my nail as if I need about 2-3 more coats of polish. Moral of the story is I will sadly not be returning even though this is SO SO convenient for me. I'll drive to my normal spot in LO. read more

Came into this salon today for the first time. And I just have to start off by saying that this place is SO CUTE. You feel like you're in a super fancy spa filled with beautiful plants and a cute little water fountain. The staff here is so accommodating and sweet. I wasn't sure what color to choose for my nails and the nail tech helped me find the perfect shade. She was super attentive to detail and made sure I was happy with my nails. Pretty irritated I just paid $60 for a shellac pedicure and I was there for a total of 25 minutes. The guy was very nice but he did not use a callus remover, did not rub my feet for more than 1 minute and then said okay you're done! My toes were done well and the paint was good but I'm saddened by how they rushed me out. The woman next to me came in before me and was still getting rubbed and taken care of. Be careful who you rush, I always leave 30% tips but not today. read more

My long time nail technician relocated and I was looking for someone to take her place. After reading the reviews I made an appointment at DreamNails and am I glad I did. Tracy does an absolutely fabulous job on my nails. They are beautifully shaped and so thin they look and feel like my own nails only much stronger. I can actually go 3 weeks between fills because the blend at the cuticle is so smooth that I can simply add a coat of polish between fills. The facility is clean, tastefully decorated, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Their pricing is competetive, access and parking are a snap. I was a walk in customer the salon was full of women I was the only male in the place. All the manicurists were Asian and speaking a foreign language which was unfamiliar to me. They were staring at me laughing and joking for what ever reason. The lady that did my pedicure was ignoring me laughing continuing to joke with her coworkers about a question I asked it was extremely rude. I came in for a pedicure while waiting for my next meeting with a customer. I am not from around the area so coming here was really a gamble for me. Before you enter, the prices are listed on the window. A pedicure is listed as $22 with additional $1 if you don't bring your own file. The staff quickly welcomed me to my massage chair so I could soak my feet. I don't mind too much that their equipment is not brand new; as long as it works, right? After my feet were soaked, I received the most comfortable foot massage ever! My pedicure looked great and staff were very friendly. I would definitely come regularly if I lived nearby. read more

I had a previous review from when this was Dream Nails, so I'm updating it now that it's changed ownership and I finally got to try them out. I'm very impressed!!! I loved the old place and people, but it's really stunning after the new owner has completely remodeled it. And the people are really friendly, too. I had called for a somewhat last minute appointment, and after some discussion on their part they were able to fit me in- I was running really early, called and they took me right away. I had Paul as my tech do my nails (a new full set of solar acrylic) and I have to say- he was so great. My new go-to nail guy! So much so that I'm planning to drive from North Portland where I now live just to know Paul will do my nails right, and without pain, lol. Other techs I've tried in North Portland since I moved last summer have hurt me (like, a LOT), done a horrible job, or were just plain rude. Paul was nice, confident in what he was doing, was gentle (I have really sensitive cuticles, lol) and in the end I had one of the best sets of nails in my life (in the 20 years I've been getting acrylic nails).
