Since the pandemic, I have not been into a nail salon for way over a year. When I past by going to the joy, I would see a young man working hard to get the business covid safe. So in preparation for the holiday, I decide it was time to experience a mani/pedi again. I looked them up here and saw that calling for an appointment was best. I called and he got me in right away! It's very clean and nice! I was disappointed to hear that others are not supporting this lovely business. This is my new nail spot! They do hot rocks and I know they did not do it before! I had a lovely time and my lady did a fabulous considering how poor condition my hands and feet were. So if you are planning to go, do! But can you be nice to lovely people working here? I'm tired of seeing of people being disrespectful to people in nails salons. Talking rough, and having high expectations of what it was like prior to a pandemic...expecting to get in right away just because you walked into the door, expecting to be served beverages, expecting people to tend to you right away because you didn't make an appointment and you can see all the techs working on other people! They do an excellent job on the nails and do all kinds of manicures and pedicures. They don't always honor the appointments they make however. When you make an appointment, the person who you have the appointment with will sometimes just decide they don't feel like working that day and you'll come in to find that you won't be able to be helped at that time. They don't take your phone number when they make the appointment because they have no desire to call you to let you know your appointment has been canceled. They do take walk ins when they aren't busy. But sometimes they are too busy for walk ins. I have been a customer here for years, and it just feels like they don't value my business anymore. The last few times they seemed to rush through my appointment and today they just didn't show up at all. read more

So this is my second time coming, I didn't take a picture of my first set but I promise they were equally as beautiful. Ryan did them both times (I think it's Ryan). We've been here multiple times for pedicures and always had a great experience. The salon is clean and comfortable. There's plexiglass dividers at each manicure station. The staff is quite friendly and does a great job. Sometimes we get nail art on top of the shellac pedicure and it always looks really pretty. They have lots of shellac colors to choose from. read more

Let me start by saying, "you get what you pay for" Dropped off my two teenage nieces to get a full set. Tell me why their nails came out clumpy and as if the shellac Was bought from the dollar store. Love this nail salon. It is just a little spot located in a strip mall. Crystal was amazing. I am really particular, I like a light overlay of acrylic, because I garden etc, and gel polish with chrome. She works fast and does a great job. Within an hour I was rocking my nails like I just walked out of an expensive Beverly Hills nail salon. She is sweet and does a great job. Really affordable spot! Going to add a spa pedicure next time too! Whenever I am in the Portland area I will visit this nail salon. I am so incredibly particular... The nails are crooked and then there were bubbles in the polish on 8 of my 10 nails. I asked her to fix them while they were drying and she said they are bubbles. Then she went to eat lunch. I went outside and noticed the polish was uneven and even streaky. I called to see if I could come back the next say to get them fixed. When I came in, they told me it was my fault and that they could only remove the polish. Every other nail salon I've been to will fix your nails if this is the case. DO NOT GO HERE. A few weeks ago I visited Rosy Nails for the first time. I went there for a manicure and had my 6 year old daughter with me. The staff was very kind and accommodating to both of us. A few years after leaving I noticed my gold bracelet, which is a cherished family hand me down, was missing. I had taken them off for the massage portion of my manicure. I began to panic. Called the salon several times...they were closed but my frantic message got to the owner and she called me at 9pm to tell me she would look at the cameras and go early to look for it. I went in before they opened and she let me in and generously offered for me to look everywhere. I turned the place inside out and she and the other staff helped me, even though they were opening soon and prepping. I couldn't find it and left in tears. Called them back several times, panicking, and asking them to ask all the staff if they can look in their belongings in case it fell somewhere (garbage, bags, etc) They were so cooperative despite how frantic I was. I ended up finding my bracelet in my garbage bin. It had come off along with a vinyl glove i had worn to handle raw meat shortly after my visit to the salon. I'll never forget their cooperation. They didn't tell me it would be a half hour wait before even starting the pedicure I walked in for. I asked, "do you have time for it?" And they said, "yes, yes!" and waved me to sit. My perception was this implied, yes they had time, not, no it's about a 30 minute wait. I sat in the water that long, waiting, growing more confused and wondering if they forgot I was even over there. 2 ladies were doing nails for 2 clients and I saw someone in the back room, so I had figured there were more employees hanging in the break room or something since the place literally only had those 2 customers at the time. I've walked into nail salons before knowing I may be SOL without an appointment and they say something like, "Can you wait 15 minutes?" or "Can you come back in 1 hour?" It's courteous. I would have gone elsewhere had they quoted me a time. And wouldn't have what I have now, a negative opinion. My feet were shriveled when they finally started! They didn't acknowledge the time or apologize. I wasn't angry, but I tried to clue her in by telling her I had some place to be, but she just said I'd be fine. Besides all that, the floor around the seats, products, tools, containers need to be heavily cleaned or replaced. Not returning or recommending. read more

Got my nails done here for the first time and I was underwhelmed by the results. Initially they were cuts but I don't think she understood the concept of coffin shape nails. After about a week the nails started falling off. I have never had this problem before and was disappointed when it happened. Maybe it was just a fluke but I will not be returning. read more

I've hopped around to different nail shops all up and down Highway 99. I'm pretty particular about customer service but Rosy Nails has always accommodated me. A friend and I like to get our mani appointments at the same time so one isn't waiting for the other. Not a problem at Rosy's! Parking is never really an issue. I brought her and her best friend here as a pre-18th birthday party present and was a little nervous because I didn't know anything about this place except what was written on Yelp. The guy who did my nails last week was super nice. However, he didn't trim my nails. He just put acrylic right on them and they were very brittle and the nail polish is not good quality. They don't use your own file and buffer. In fact, they don't file or buff your nails by hand. I'm never coming again it's overpriced for cheap quality nails read more
