We've only been to Pretend City in Irvine and Imagine City is not as big but big enough for their imagination and awesome! Very well maintained, awesome atmosphere and great staff! Every time I have my grandson I will be bringing him here. I signed up for their emails and they have some awesome activities too. Staff said there are more children at 10:30 when they open. We came about 1 pm and here by ourselves. They have a play area and in another room a play park with a road around with working power wheel vehicles. Too cute! I definitely recommend! read more

First time coming here, I've been looking for a play place for my two year and I found this place on Yelp. It's a fairly new place close to home, I read the great reviews and decided to try it out today with my son. When we first walked in there wasn't anyone at the front desk so I was just looking around (thinking not a great start) until a gentlemen shortly approached me, I didn't get his name, apologized and informed me that they're short staffed which is completely understandable perhaps due to the holidays. Nonetheless, my son had a great time he definitely enjoyed the train rides more than anything. The setup, paintings, decoration, murals, the big tree in the center of the room makes the place look like a miniaturized city. They also have another room in the corner of the facility across the train tracks where kids can either drive, or parents use remote controls to maneuver the cars through the track. Security is good as well, it has various gate enclosures for kids safety and security cameras. It was a great experience that you couldn't even tell they were short staffed. Toys were getting picked up and organized consistently, train schedule looked like it was running smoothly and a staff member was always there to help or attend to someone. My son loved it so much that he was crying on his way out because he didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back:) read more

Pretty cool little place where kids can have fun and express themselves with other kids.

First time and last time. One of the staff members made my 2 year old cry by taking the toys she was playing with. My 2 year old did not understand what was happening and started crying. The staff did not go through the rules with us. For those attending for the first time, kids are not allowed to take kitchen toys in the dinning restaurant or outside of their designated area. The staff member started removing the toys my 2 year old was playing with and took them back to the grocery store where they belonged. It was hard for my 2 year old to understand and follow the rules. Owner was apologetic but it was too late. Put a damper to the experience. We left and will not be returning. read more

I recently visited imagine city with my children and we had a great time ! My kids are 2 and 6 and they both had the best time in the mini city and on the racetrack. Two amazing workers there Arrieanna and Brianna were so helpful and friendly they helped us register for an event the following day. I loved taking my 2 year old daughter here. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. It is $10 and that is for 2 hours of play and unlimited train rides. I would say it is suitable for ages 1-8 years. There are so many things to do and my daughter loved it. Some suggestions I would make to the owners would be to see if there is anything they can do about the spaces between the fencing, it is easy for the little ones to crawl through. Also, Maybe a better seating area to eat food and put things down. Nothing major - just suggestions. I do have to say it is SO nice to have something fun like this in the AV. This place is awesome for kids. Lots to do when it comes to play time. To start the workers are great. The train ride is fun and exciting. It takes you around the room which is better than you'd expect. They seem to be constantly cleaning and picking up toys and items for maximum fun for the kids. There is a new car area. My 7 year old and 3 year old had a blast. It's a great place in the Antelope valley to beat the heat. Another thing impressive is just how well kept everything is. My toddler had a great time at Imagine City. The play areas were nice. The staff were very friendly and worked really hard to sanitize and organize. The train was fun and runs often. They are expanding and I was able to see the second area that is supposed to open next week. I was visiting from out of town and needed an air conditioned playground. The husband has such an horrible attitude and demeanor. I booked a party here and was rushed. Him and his staff began to spray my guest with cleaning chemicals, whipping the tables in an attempt to get us out. He also stood in the door with his arms crossed. Loved coming here...because this isn't the Palmdale I remember back in 2000 haha. This was the best entertainment center for my daughter to spend 2.5hours at. The place isn't large, but it has two rooms..I think. One room holds the "imagine city" packed with tiny structures: cafe, per shop, mansion, etc. It also has costumes and decorative toys for every structured theme. They also have a train that runs every 10min? Super cute. A parent can ride with the child, so long as they don't rock back and forth while the train moves...because it's sketchy . There are some seats and cubby spots, but not too many. So not super convenient when the place gets packed. There is a over section I noticed that is a Traffic theme. Nothing but stops signs, roads and kid-cars that actually turn on. Maybe next time. Still a great place if your toddler needs to run around in a safe environment,in good ole Palmdale. read more

I have been looking for a place to take my two year old to have fun and play with other kids. I just walked in after running errands to check out pricing and Latoya was very helpful and explained all their packages , my son really wanted to stay so we tried out the free play, This place is perfect! He loved everything his favorite were the grocery store with little shopping carts. It's super clean and the staff was very friendly. They even have packages that help bring the price down. It's worth it for me to see my son get to play with all the toys and ride the train and even the motorized cars, they have a separate room where they can ride cars on a track, super super cute. Imagination city is my favorite place to bring my kids. Every time I go there the staff is so kind and courteous. The business itself is clean and well kept. There is so much to do there. I was skeptical at first. Like any place in the AV it starts off nice and eventually runs itself down. This place has been as great at it was when it first opened. Recently I had my daughters birthday there. The manager La'Toya was so gracious and helpful. I was really blown away how smooth everything went. Securing the room and time slot took all of 15 min. When I arrived La'Toya was there to greet me and assist in setting up the room. She was just as kind to the birthday guests too. My daughters birthday theme was minions and to our surprise a big ol minion showed up!!! No extra cost suggested. It made my daughters day. Mine also. I will continue to bring my kids here. Imagination city has a customer for as long as they are here. read more

This place is my daughter's favorite place to play. It's basically a mini children's town. The other half of the place is a track so they can drive their electric cars around and around. Babies under 1 get in free and after that it's $15 for the first child and a lower price for siblings, they are able to play for 2.5 hours which more than enough time. The staff is friendly and full of spirit and they give train rides for kids that goes around the town every 10-15 mins. If you bring your kids here you won't regret it! read more

I'm not sure I can say enough good things about my last experience at this place. A friend and I visited with our kids a few days ago and it was such a great time. As soon as we entered and stared filling out the waiver we were greeted by a woman with so much energy and personality. She was really friendly and made us feel so comfortable. During our time there, she was really helpful and kept interacting with us along with everyone else there. Every few minutes she was the conductor of the train, she was busy cleaning up behind the little customers, and then went around making sure everyone was doing well. She welcomed guests to the establishment as they came in and even offered additional help by escorting guests to the back room with the little cars for the children. She began to poke fun at me because of my "blinding" wedding ring, and even nicknamed me Bougee while I was there. In the midst of our visit, I found out her name is La'Toya and she really is the greatest manager for this place. She is hospitable, funny, and charismatic. We will definitely be back. After all, we are members of Imagine City now. It will always be nice to go back and spend time with La'Toya. Thank you for making our visit memorable. You are surely in the right position. The place is nice for kids to enjoy themselves and use their imagination. The staff have no type of customer service. No hello, as we walk in, no directions as what you need to do for as a first timer. You could tell they're just there because they want to get paid. If you take your kids make sure to keep an eye on them because the staff will not notify you if your kid walks to the next room or even towards the street. They could care less. read more

The reviews didn't lie. This is a great place to bring your little one to have fun exploring a miniature town with other kids. Everything is on their level and there is a choo choo train that goes around the town every 10 mins. My daughter is less than a year and technically she was free but I still paid....someone's still gotta pay the electricity bill and pay the employees. They have a store, vet place, mechanic shop, tree, home with kitchen, postal office, etc. They even have a race track with powered cars for kids and remote controlled vehicles too for smaller kids. My daughter had an absolute blast here! It was really entertaining watching her interact with all the different t props and the other children. Great place to take your kids for the afternoon or morning playtime! I LOVED the set up and the staff was amazing so friendly and nice and sanitizing after every kid used the play areas. There are two areas, the main area with all the cute houses and store fronts - they thought of everything to the make experience for the kids so much fun! The grocery store with cash register, play money and as the kids scan the items it lights up! Then the train that goes around the houses and store fronts, so fun and the staff makes it even more fun when the kids put their hands in the air going trhough the tunnel. The other side has battery electric cars, the kids LOVED this as well. The parents can enjoy the middle park area to watch their kids have so much MORE fun! For the little ones 2 year old they have a remote control on a couple of the cars so they can have fun too! Really loved this place. My daughter and I are able to have fun in this mini city for kids along with the other side designed for a track for cars. I really love how they added the train rides. Kids have a lot of fun in this place completely worth it. 3 bathrooms available always very clean. The staff does clean after the kids which I like because I'm a germaphobe. The only thing I dislike is the time limit. It's 3 hours max per day if you have the monthly pass and 2 1/2 of you purchase the day pass. Also I feel like some of the attitude at the front changes with some people.the train ride might not be uniform with the timing and friendliness changes depending on who's at the front.That is my only dislike. Overall I think it's completely worth it to take your child to this play area they will have a blast and I think it's a good value for your money. Good luck!! read more

It's Sunday, June 30. My grandson waited patiently all day for me to finish up working so I could take him to imagination city. He was extremely excited when I finally got done with work and was ready to take him. We drive to imagination city only to be told that they're closed to the public right now and only open for a private party. I had checked their website before coming to make sure they would be open to the public today. Nowhere on their website did they say they were closed to the public today. The lady at the front counter apologized for the inconvenience but that doesn't make up for the fact that my grandson is now broken hearted and I have to explain to him why he can't go inside when he sees other kids playing inside.
