Was initially confusing and wished the attendant was there to explain the rules of the game in more detail (there were written instructions, but they disappeared after a minute or so), but he was always available for questions when we left the room and walked up to the front desk. After the first few minutes, the games got a bit repetitive, so think this would be more ideal for a group of 4+ since it was a bit monotonous with just 2 after awhile. So while we were out doing some shopping in Victoria Gardens we stumbled across this spot and decided to check it out! Upon walking in, the rooms are brightly lit and all the rooms look very inviting. We were lucky that he general manager, April came out and helped us and showed us how the gaming room works! We got the Game room 1 right at the front with all the windows and played 2-person interactive Pacman game for 30 minutes! Time flew by while we were playing the game and overall it was an amazing experience! We had initially seen an ad on Instagram and took time to walk in and ask questions several weeks ago. Frank was personable and took the time to walk us through the entire process, which was enough for us to want to book on the spot. We came back for our Gamebox event today, and it was enjoyable! From the games to the experience, everything was fun for the kids. We would definitely come again! My 6yo and his friends did the Angry Birds/Temple of Coins 1hr bundle--- some things to consider for the future: - Bring snacks and water! All the games are movement oriented and because our kids were on the younger side, they were ready for a break about halfway through. - Seeing that our kids were on the younger side, the Gamebox staff was kind enough to suggest 2 rounds of Temple of Coins, Jr., which was 15 mins instead of 30. We did Trivia Mash-up first to ease ourselves in and to see how this all worked. It was fun. Made us feel stupid. Hahaha. Which we were able to laugh at each other. One of the coolest experience's I've ever had! We had a reservation for 8 but were super early so we decided to book another game. We did the trivia one and at first it was a little weird to get use to but once we got it down we had so much fun! The second game was the temple run which is like a giant version of Pac-Man and it made us very competitive against each other but that made it even better. At the end we decided to take the offer to book another game for 20% off and chose to book the squid game one coming out in September! For my 2nd time going we took my 3 year old niece for the opening of the Paw Patrol game. The place was decorated so cute with colorful ballon arches. They had a photographer, cupcakes, goodie bags, face painting and at the end my niece got a full sized Chase pup doll that talks and wags it's tail. The game itself was fun even for adults. My niece was apprehensive at first but once she got the hang of it she had a lot of fun. The games where you had to touch the wall were easiest for her. The staff was friendly and welcoming which helped make the experience great. I highly recommend this experience as a date or a family game night. We didn't order refreshments but they do have soda, water, Powerade available. You will get a workout in. If you're on the fence about going, just try it. You won't regret it. read more

Me and kids were walking around after our last visit about a year ago. We passed by this Gamebox and the kids were excited to try it out. I got 3 players for all my 3 kids for more than $90. I forget exactly, maybe $98 or so. My kids are below 12 so I have to be in the room with them. For an hour game, it was challenging for me to stand around, and I wasn't interested in game in general. I finally sat down in one corner. Wish there was a small stool or small bean bag or something. When I checked in to Yelp, there was 20% discount. Another thing that was a bit disappointing that I didnt check earlier. And when we were done, there was purple cards that i could show it to them to get the 20% off! Whaaaaaattt.. anyway, my kids had fun and maybe I will let them do it again with 20% off.
