Bop Culture - #3 vegan (fake chicken) bi bim bop

Bi-bim-bops mostly but also some other goodies such as Korean spiced tots and a Korean corn dog. First impressions: when the menu says spicy, the food will be. Not blisteringly so but for those with a low tolerance, take heed. Five dishes ordered and promptly delivered by Door Dash - all good. - Tots: very nice, comes with two dipping sauces, both tasty. - Vegan chicken bi-bim-bop (#3): I've never had fake chicken until now and it works about as well as fake beef (Beyond, Impossible). Which is to say, quite passable. Beyond the fake chicken, the dish itself is very good. Bop sauce (in a separate tub) is tasty if a touch sweet. - Chinese cabbage salad: Excellent. I could eat this all day. - Bop dog: a Korean-inspired corn dog. The epitome of fusion, I guess. Pretty good with a nice panko coating. If you like corn dogs, you'll probably like it. - Beef bi-bim-bop (#1): Excellent. Well seasoned beef with very well done veggies and soft-boiled egg, including kim chi. Overall, I'd say Bop Culture has hit it out of the park in a town somewhat lacking in Asian-inspired cuisine (although it's getting better). Highly recommended.

I like the fact that they offer modern style Korean food as well like Corn Cheese, Hot Dog and Vegan Bibimbap! I've ordered different things from them a couple of times. Our favorites so far are Hot dog, pork belly Bossam, ZZ bop (vegan Bibimbap with fake chicken), and kimchi dumplings!! The Bop miso sauce is amazing too!! I know some of you wouldn't like their food because it's not traditional Korean food to you. Also some of you wouldn't like their food because it's way too authentic and traditional like their banchan. I know because I'm in the food business! Give it a try yourself and see what they are all about!

The restaurant runs on a highly efficient counter-service model: you wait in line to order, and a server coordinates whether you want to grab a table inside or out on the patio. Once we were seated, our food came out incredibly fast. I had the Spicy Pork Noodles, and my partner got the Yellow Curry loaded with shrimp and pork belly. Both main dishes were packed with flavor, and the crisp cucumber salad was the perfect side to share. I also ordered a hard cider to wash it down. Everything was delicious from start to finish.

Just enough spicy without being too much. Ordering at the counter seemed interesting to me due to the layout of the dining room, but the staff knew exactly what they were doing and were able to direct us to a seat easily! Our food and drinks also came in a timing manner. I really appreciated that we could see all the way back into the kitchen and there was transparency between the kitchen and the consumers. The bar looked gorgeous and I would definetly like to sit there next time for the vibes. I also loved that they provided self-serve boxes, napkins, and utensils but still had a sign asking patrons to be concious of how much they're using. The overall flow between ordering, self serve, and dining was super efficient and nice! Can't wait to come here again!

At first by following the googles map we couldn't fine it so I called them and it was on the other side of the street and from where we were we couldn't see any sign. We got directions and it was there in the Wild Ride Brewery which can't be missed because the building is so large and signs that is easy to spot. So if you want to find it just go to the wild ride Brewery and you will find Wild Catch, Slice, Burger Wild and there was 2 other food truck there also, but not open during the time we went. My wife ordered the 1 piece cod fish & chips, which she said was okay, but said the French fries were really good and I agree and the tartar sauce that they make is also very good. I had the mix seafood plate, but ordered the halibut instead of cod and it came with shrimp, Halibut and French fries and cold slaw. I didn't care too much for the halibut it was on the dry side not moist, the batter was light and crispy, the tartar sauce was really very good and tasty. The shrimp was coated lightly and came on the side, because I asked not to stir fry it with the sauce, the shrimp was lightly battered and tasty and the sweet spicy sauce was good . I enjoyed the shrimp & fries and the sauces. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking in a parking area on the side of the building.

Flaky, moist cod and succulent shrimp. The beer batter is very black pepper forward, so if you like black pepper, you'll like this. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp has the right amount of horseradish, and the coleslaw was creamy and cooling, and also very black peppery. I like a little spike of vinegar in mine, so I added some of the malt vinegar provided with my order. Yummy. Fries are good too. Service was great. And food trucks next to a brewery is a great thing, especially on nice days like today when you can eat outside.

Offers quick, light, creative, and tasty bar food and of course the drinks are fantastic. We love the tiki bar ambiance and friendly staff. Let's just start out with the atmosphere.... This place is just covered in craft store plants and Amazon decorations. No character nothing special. Now I could've gotten past that if the drinks were OK. I didn't have super high hopes, but I was very excited to find a Tiki Bar in Bend while I was traveling for work. So I started out with just a classic Mai Tai after looking over the menu and being pretty disappointed that it's just the most basic "tiki" drinks in existence. The Mai Tai was flat out awful, and I mean AWFUL. It tasted like water mixed with lime juice. No alcohol taste in anyway, and not even a drip of Orgeat taste. It is so bad that it upset me, and it's completely clear like water. I did decide to stay cause I needed a break from the long week of work, but I just went straight to rum straight. I could've overlooked this, if there was even any slight conversation at the bar with the bartenders, but they had no interest in talking to the people that were there, three of the people at the bar were employees, and the entire time was just them talking together about how much they don't like rum or even the drinks on the menu. Wild. Past that they were talking about how they store their juices, and that they don't date label them in any way or throw them out after a certain amount of days, they just come in and taste them to see if they've gone bad. Get the f*** out of here.... A quick Google search will show you that most citrus juices start to oxidize within the hour, and orange and pineapple are not far behind... Don't even come here and give it a try, just go somewhere else.... This place should not be in business.
