I have no complaints about using this company. My last move was a horrible experience but Donna was extremely helpful with all my questions any time of day and really made me feel comfortable with this move. The team of three movers showed up on time, moved quickly, took care to wrap everything that needed it (and some that didn't) and got the truck packed in just about 2 1/2 hours for my 2 BR apt. Unloading, they were great! Put things where I wanted the . Put both beds together. Hung my televisions. And got the truck unloaded in about an hour and a half. It was very difficult to reach the team by phone but I eventually got a response through yelp. Donna was very helpful and helped set up the appointment. Moving from a multistory townhouse, 3 movers were recommended. The movers worked efficiently, wrapping all the furniture and packing items in boxes that we had left out. It was difficult to communicate in English but luckily we had a Mandarin speaker with us. During the move-in, the 3 movers were again super efficient. The movers might be a little rough with moving (noted scratches on walls) so remind them to be careful. The required minimum tip is $10/person/hour (however, with the amount of work that was completed, we tipped more). Prices were very reasonable and availability was open at the last minute (we moved during holiday time too). I would recommend hiring this team in the future. read more

While this review is late, wanted to acknowledge how great this company is! They helped us move from San Francisco to Foster City over a year ago. The team was quick and efficient, and moved all of our furniture and our belongings in under 4 hours! They even had time to help us assemble our furniture at the new place, including mounting our TV on the wall. The price is affordable. Also, our furniture was handled with great care. (I recently hired movers from another company, since I did not realize iMoving would go to our new destination. We were moving between apartments and they were able to transport our furniture down a flight of stairs and through an elevator. We ran into a small hiccup where their truck wasn't able to fit through our new apartment's parking garage, so we were forced to park across the street, making the walk quite long. Amazing. We had been scheduled to move on Father's Day with another local company for over a month. THAT mover ditched our family after he showed up with a hole in his mask and freaking out on us because our crated dog wouldn't stop barking at him (our dog KNEW there was something BAD about that guy, plus his truck was a wreck and filthy- dm me for more information, I'd hate for this to happen to someone else). Great moving experience! I scheduled my move with Donna via Yelp 3-4 days before my move and got the advertised prices and confirmation very quickly. I messaged her to confirm the appointment a couple days before and didn't have a problem. The movers arrived right on time the day of the move with the 2 movers I requested. (I have bad poor experiences in the past where other movers only sent 1 guy). The movers were courteous and knocked move out and move in very quickly with no fuss and all quoted rates were accurate. VERY TERRIBLE! Late for 30mins, and then they took a 20mins smoke break before they started moving. And they charge by hour, so that 20mins count as "working" time, so "professional"! They only had 2 worker with a small truck to move my stuff. It's not big enough to move all my furniture so I had to use my own car too. They also stuck my plants up and squeezed them! While they moved to my new house, one of the worker asked me to stand downstairs and just dumped the shelf to me and just told me to hold it. Am I also a worker? Do I get pay by your company? I hired three people with a truck for 3 1/2 hours and the cost was reasonable--$145/hour plus a $79 truck fee. They were on time, efficient, very professional, and extremely careful--they wrapped all fragile or easily damaged items. Moved recently and was feeling very stressed, a few days before my move I decided to hire movers instead of struggling on my own. I messaged a few moving companies to compare rates and iMoving had very competitive rates. They're great to communicate with, responded very quickly, and was able to answer all my questions. They were also able to accommodate me when I made the appointment week of and asked for a Saturday move. Day of the move, I had two guys and a big truck. The two guys who helped me were amazing, seemed very experienced, they were very quick and efficient with loading up and securing my stuff. Docking one star off due to the fact that the movers arrived 3 hours late. Despite this, the two movers that came were extremely efficient and finished moving our 2br/1ba apartment in just under 3 hours. There were no elevators in our 1st apartment, and we lived on the 3rd floor. They had to move a big sofa, a bed, and two huge desks among a bunch of other boxes down those stairs; I was very impressed with the speed and safety! Nothing arrived damaged, and they had masks + disinfectant to spray down anything that was touched. I would recommend booking with them; however, if you can't afford to be late, book in the morning so that you're the first client of the day. read more

IMoving is an excellent moving company all around. From my initial contact with Donna to my move professional Sean. In less than a week they had me moved to my home out of state. They arrived on moving day with four rather than 3 movers we had agreed to. They covered the steps and floor so as not to cause any damage. I had a lot of stuff and because of their excellent packing I was able to get the vast majority of my items on the truck. When they got to my new location I was unable to be there to meet them. They followed my instructions to a tee and where they were confused they asked questions and sent photos. My relatives marveled at how they took care to move the items and were gracious when asked to place items in a particular room.
