​I hired iMoving to move a dozen boxes and a twin-size mattress to a furnished apartment in San Francisco. One of the movers hit a wall painting. The painting dropped to the floor and caused scratches on the wall. The mover was unprofessional and refused to take any responsibility to repair/clean up. The movers also missed two boxes from the old apartment. I texted the owner and requested them to move the remaining boxes. They texted back once but didn't confirm a time. I texted again and never heard back from them. I will not recommend iMoving. read more

I've used iMoving twice now and both times had a stellar experience. They are fast, experienced, and one of the most reasonably priced moving services I've seen in the Bay Area. Both times, they completed my move so quickly - without stalling and showing promptly on time. The workers did not take any breaks and moved my boxes with a great level of diligence and care. Sean and Su were very efficient and careful while moving our apartment. The truck was very spacious. The movers were punctual on time and took special care of furniture and fragile boxes. The thoughtfulness of the movers helped loading and unloading very quick. They have taken all precautions to not cause damage to the floors/walls while moving heavy objects. They were also very responsive to our requests for organizing the stuff in our new place. Overall a very positive experience and very competitive prices. The movers met me at the site (they were early) and ready to work. They packed up the truck we went to the drop off spot and were turned away. No problem the movers said . We went to a different city and the same situation happened, yet the movers not only traveled with me but stayed with me until the situation was resolved. Never once complaining or reminding me they had another job to do. I just want to say thank you for your patience and hard work. They were complete gentlemen! I've hired this moving company on 3/16, 5/9, 6/27 and 6/28 of 2019. Their rate is competitive and their service is superb. The movers are experienced, respectful and hard-working. When I leave the house for a short while, they continue to work. You just need to tell them what needs to be loaded, they'll finish everything in a timely manner. When I buy them lunch, they appreciate it and finish their lunch in ten minutes. You don't have to worry about them slacking off. They want to finish the job fast and go home too. However, they don't rush and break your things. They'll use padding, cloth, blankets, hand trucks and teamwork to get the job done. Some moving companies will charge you extra gasoline fee for local moves. This i Moving (Ping An Moving) Company does not! With my positive experience with them, I highly recommend them to you. No one asked me to write them a review. I want more people to know of this trustworthy company! One negative thing is that the movers smoke outside and you might smell it when they walk in the house. They were very communicative leading up to my move, came right on time, were cautious both with regards to COVID safety as well as protecting the floors in my new building/new unit, and were extremely organized and efficient. I had put my things into storage for a few months during the pandemic and the moving team that had brought my items to storage (a different company) left a few pieces of furniture in disarray, and the iMoving team took the time to help me not only get these large items transported - safely, wrapped and covered in blankets - but also to reassemble the items that needed support. I am so pleased with my professional, efficient, through moving experience with iMoving. They had to haul my stuff up 3 flights of stairs from my family home then into my 1 bedroom apartment and these guys did an AMAZING JOB! I was so impressed how quickly they did this, and they took apart my whole bed frame into like 30 pieces & reassembled it all for me. They wrapped all furniture & carefully maneuvered it around all corners without any scratches. Even all my fragile items returned to me unscathed. I would 10/10 recommend iMoving services! Showed up on time. They did a great job. The truck was filled brim to brim. I initially thought we would be able to grab a couple of items from storage but the truck was at capacity, and trust me I watched them pack the entire thing. There wasn't room for even a shoe box. Sean and two other men helped to move a piano for us. They were very efficient with their time. It took them less than 30 minutes to complete the difficult task of moving a very heavy piano up a flight of stairs. I just wish the blue mat that was rolled out was cleaner and also wish there was a way to keep shoes from being worn in the home. Sean explained that it was a safety concern, understandably. I hired this company for a move from San Francisco to the east bay. They showed up on time and was very professional. They were very quick and efficient and worked really hard for me. I moved from a two story walk up with 4 flights of stairs and it was definitely a lot of sweat and labor to get all my stuff down. I also have this antique piano that weighted a ton. I was really worried that they wouldn't be able to move it. But again, they were extremely professional and broke a lot of sweat for it. I have to say very skillful as well cuz it was not easy to move a super heavy piano down a turning narrow stairs. They have really good rates as well. 5 stars service. During the end of April 2019, next door company and my small office had to move from Santa Clara to San Jose, next door company called several moving companies, informed that iMoving SF got the best rate, so we both used iMoving SF. It took 2 - 3 days moving a lot of furniture, equipment, cubicle parts, file cabinets, files and junks. Workers were efficient, honest, and courteous. They even worked hard during Saturday! One mover did extra putting a lot of small items in my car so I did not need to make another trip to the new office. Mr. Dong communicated well and I did not run into any surprise as I had in my previous moving experiences. One thing to mention is that I was so busy working, postponed to the last minute choosing a moving company. Mr. Dong was quick on returning calls and accommodated scheduling, I thought movers might have over-worked in one day, yet they put on smiling face. Next door company is quite happy about its moving as well, the managers wanted to say "THANK YOU" in Chinese to movers to express their sincere appreciation. I couldn't recommend this moving company, iMoving, much higher than it needs to be due to the limits of a 5 star rating! I was in desperate need of moving all of my belongings to a new apartment. Everything went really well after I made contact with this moving company. When 2 of the movers arrived, they were very professional to my dog and I, and efficient at sorting all my stuff from easy to move boxes to large heavy furniture. Since I forgot to tell them that I live at the 2nd floor with no elevator, they readjusted the price based on what they actually had to move before they start moving, which I can completely understand and approve of. Once they had everything on the truck, I could totally see how much care they took in to make sure none of my things will crush each other. While the movers place all my belongings in my new apartment, I was able to be comfortable with my dog and waited patiently until I could start seeing boxes for unpacking . I even took the liberty and tip them generously for their superior work. I will totally recommend iMoving to all my friends and family members when they need help moving. read more

I've used iMoving twice. Both times they were very efficient and careful. They brought padding for the furniture and a rug to protect the wood stairs where they needed to use a dolly for a heavy item. The truck was a little small and a couple of things ended up going in my car, but I think that's because I underestimated how much stuff we had when I talked to them on the phone. They did a great job packing the truck though and nothing got broken. They had a 4 hour minimum which ended up being how long it took them for my 3 bedroom. I was able to pay with Venmo, which was convenient. read more

Their staff are helpful and friendly but the software tool they use makes it possible to underestimate the cubic footage of your belongings. Consequently, the movers assigned to our move by iMoving were not accurately informed of the size of our load and therefore were not able to fit all of our belongings into the 26' truck they brought. We tried to tell iMoving that we had large furniture but they basically said, 'size doesn't matter.' Now my husband and I, both in our 60's, have to drive 6 hours to lift, package and move a number of large, heavy items. iMoving's response to our predicament was to say we had too many large boxes. We ended up with 28 boxes more that we estimated, but even if they were all large boxes (4.5CF) which they were not, that only equates to 126CF. There's a lot more than 126CF left behind: a large wall-mount TV, a metal patio table and 6 metal chairs, a big mirror, and a large garden planting table. If you use iMoving, make sure your inventory list is accurate regarding the overall CF of your load. read more

They were fast and efficient and nice. I couldn't easily communicate with the guys, but that's all that was slightly negative. We hired two guys and a truck and we moved our 1 bedroom in about 4 hours. That was including loading and unloading and we moved our valuables ourselves the day before. We hired iMoving at the last minute to move a huge SF apartment and garage filled to the brim to a storage unit. The two guys who came were so polite and listened patiently to our complicated instructions of which to pack first, etc. They got the job done in record time and unloaded everything perfectly into the storage unit.
