Accidents happen and with the Flying House Movers you'll only get the run around to resolving it. In addition to my marble top missing, they damaged: my dining table, office desk, headboard, and scratched the frame of a painting. I played the fool and initially thought they had done a great job, so much so that I bought the movers lunch on both days and tipped them very generously. If you want to use this moving company, be prepared and check all your items immediately and report them to Stan, he will take a long time getting back to you and then come up with excuses for the delays. What I encountered was end-to-end excellence, from customer service to their excellent moving team. I knew our move would be a large one, so I booked a 26' truck and five-person crew. As the day of the move approached, I had lots of last-minute worries and questions and Sam, in Customer Service, answered every one and generally calmed my nerves, assuring me my move team would assist if we needed last-minute help. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time. The foreman, Guillermo, assessed our situation and calmly confirmed my suspicious that we'd need two trucks (this my error, not OnTrack's). Before I could panic, he had contacted his team and we arranged that ours be a two day move. Guillermo's team wrapped our furniture and had the truck loaded swiftly. At the new house, we had a few of our family help direct traffic. I'd labelled every box with a color-coded room label and the team got everything to the proper room. On day two, Sammy -- part of the original crew -- acted as lead and we repeated the process. Here, a number of items still needed a bit of packing and his team had everything done in record time and -- bless them - marked the boxes for the proper room destinations without prompting. As I now unpack, I'm finding everything in excellent condition and couldn't be more grateful. We'd heard stories about moving nightmares and wanted to share a happy ending. Guillermo and Sammy were AMAZING and their crews were very hard working. Tips: my sister had a table of bottled waters, bags of chips, and other snacks ready for the team when we arrived at the new house. The team appeared grateful for the sustenance. We also tipped each person individually, in cash.

I had a very small move including: 52" flat screen 42" flat screen Standard 5 drawer dresser, approx 6ft 5 seater sofa (breaks down into 2 sections) Coffee Table Desk (very light) Standard rolling office chair California King sleep number bed 6 hours. Both buildings with elevators, both less than 15 feet walking from elevator to truck/truck to elevator. 6 hours. They allocated 2 men for the job, which based on the inventory I could find a way to understand. But this was almost the equivalent of a fully furnished 2 bedroom home. 6 hours and not providing any form of concession is absurd. And nice gentlemen, but this wasn't exactly white glove service. Half of the items they didn't even ask where I wanted them placed or oriented. And they tracked over my brand new rug multiple times no booties even though I was adamant about that before the move began. Used a slow, manual hand wrench to try and take a flat screen TV mount off. Maybe power tools would have been better/faster? Didn't have a door stopper... maybe a moving company has a few of those handy for jobs? 6 hours. Would not recommend, wish I could do this over. 6 hours.

Leading up to our move date, Shenna called and emailed with reminders for any last-minute tasks and collected information so our moving team knew exactly what we needed on the date. On moving day, we had a crew of 3 movers: Enrique, Ismael, and Jose/Luis. They were punctual and arrived at our apartment right on time to get started on our move. After walking them through our apartment, discussing expectations, and signing the agreement, they went to work. This team was quick, and I mean QUICK, to disassemble and pack the truck. Avoid this company. We hired their full-service moving…read morepackage for a long-distance move that cost over $11,000. The amount of damage to our belongings was shocking. Numerous items arrived scratched, broken, stained, or otherwise damaged because they were packed and handled carelessly. Many belongings were simply thrown into boxes without proper wrapping or protection, and hardware needed to reassemble items was separated or lost. Several pieces of furniture arrived scratched and dirty, and some were not reassembled correctly. Our moving dolly also disappeared during the move. The damage was not limited to a single item or isolated mistake--it affected belongings throughout our shipment and created weeks of frustration as we unpacked and discovered additional problems. On top of the damage, the crew packed and transported items we had specifically set aside and clearly instructed them not to move. We had already arranged for those items to be picked up at our old home, only to find them delivered to our new home more than six hours away. I gave the company the opportunity to make things right and worked with customer service for weeks. Their final offer for the extensive damage and missing property was just $300. When I explained that this was not an acceptable resolution, communication stopped altogether. For an $11,000 full-service move, I expected professional packing, careful handling, and accountability when things went wrong. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
