The facility is clean, the wait is better than most places, and the medical assistants are nice. The reason for my low rating is because Wilburn M.D. is very short with her patient care. My consult with her was very brief, she didn't listen to my health concerns and at the end she didn't explain my diagnosis nor my new medication. read more

I will say the doctors are nice and the facility is clean, BUT, they have unprofessional unempathetic front desk/staff members...made an apptmnt for me that my insurance didn't cover, told me twice to come in for flu shot when they didn't have the shot, and denied making an appointment for me and didn't apologize for the mixup after I was told I couldn't be seen. Inconvenient policies stating u can only see the dr that is your PCP even though they have at least 3 other doctors here, and if they are your PCP you can't come here for Urgent Care services even though it's the closet one to your home. I usually wait at least an hour even though I have an apptmt. I don't know if any of this has to do w the fact I have IEHP. Very bad experiences...changing dr ASAP! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I made an appointment as a first time patient and when I called for a remind of when the appointment was they said that I never made one. Then when I came in for the one I scheduled I waited for two hours. All I needed was a physical. I saw a nurse who took my vitals and waited an hour in the room before someone came in to ask me questions then waited another 30 minutes for another nurse to come in and ask the same questions. That nurse told me that I needed to make an appointment for a physical and when I told her that that was the reason I came in she told me to wait. The first nurse came in and apologized for forgetting and told me that it would be quick. I waited for another 30 minutes in a gown. I finally got fed up 15 minutes after closing, got dressed and walked out. There were only two people left, they were just talking to each other. They had to unlock the door to let me out because they were already closed. This is the worst experience that I have ever had at a doctor's office. I 100% do not recommend, find another place if you value your time. read more

Made an appt for a week from "today" on MONDAY Sept 11 show up on MONDAY Sept 18 after taking a day off just to be informed that my appointment is on Wednesday the 20th. ummmmm neither the day or the date were correct but that's my error I must have misunderstood? 3 hour wait was told when I checked in that 2 people were before me, the girls up front continue to book spots for today! Billing is a major issue I've had with them one dr takes our ins. I seriously don't recommend this place to anybody not even my worst enemy. We were there since 11 PM and didn't get out till 3, they forgot about us in the waiting room because when i went out to check the lady said if we were still here, "maybe the doctor forgot to tell you the results". Although all that happened I decided to give them another chance I had to go today because my son had a big gash in his head and he needed stitches once we waited for like about two hours they told us that we needed to take them to another urgent care because they didn't have what they needed honestly what a waste of time they just put my son through pain. read more

First of all, I want to declare that the front and back office staff are super nice. The hours on the door say they are open until 7 pm on Sunday, beware, they aren't. They told me they close at 3 pm. So, instead I attempt to come on again on Monday at 9 am. I get triaged and rerouted back to the waiting room, promptly. Unfortunately, it is now 10 am and there is still no provider available. Why collect sick patients in a waiting room if you are technically still closed? My Insurance is going to be billed for a complete visit, why can't I get the service of a complete visit? Now, there are 10 people in the waiting room! No Provider??? If I could give zero stars I would... PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! So let's start with how on the outside this seems to be a good place to go but boy was I wrong. It seems clean and decent but in reality it's very filthy and ridiculously unprofessional. I recently moved to the high desert and this was one of the few places that would accept our insurance. To say I had the worst experience is an understatement... I came to bring my father because he's very ill and In constant pain. We waiting over 3 hours to see the doctor while all the "nurses" were in the back gossiping and wasting their time and ours. We overheard the "nurses" (and I'm only putting the nurses in quotations because they might as well be toddlers trained to weigh you and take your vitals, they're all lazy) saying that the doctor had left for the day AGAIN. Imagine knowing you have ill patients and just leaving because you don't feel like being a doctor at lunch time? Lol sounds like someone should look for a new job that doesn't require over seeing the health of others. Very unprofessional and cruel. All the "nurses" were extremely rude. I came on another occasion for a breathing treatment, mind you I have very bad asthma and had pneumonia at the time and the "nurse" seriously told me I should just come later and use my rescue inhaler, when my oxygen levels were at 80%. Seems like they would much rather you die than to lift up a hand and help you and do THEIR DAMN JOB. This place doesn't seem to be able to keep a staff member for more than 2 weeks, everyone quits, and they still can't seem to hire decent people that give a crap about you, your health, your time or any plans you had. All the worry about is the money they get paid to completely violate HIPPA laws and waste your time at the expense that they get paid to sit and look kinda pretty. Don't come here unless you want to be misdiagnosed, ignored, and made feel like worse crap than you did before coming here. It's a complete waste of your life to bother with these people who have "nurses" who just spend their whole time talking about their personal lives or their patients and their patients files and "doctors" who leave when they don't feel like seeing you because they have better to do than work a job they applied for. PLEASE DONT COME HERE. There is far better urgent cares that actually give a damn and will help you. Visited earlier today for foot injury, just needed a patch up, Dr note and some pain medication. It did not take long and the staff at the reception desk were kind enough to bring me the paper work and bringing my card up to the reader without me getting up as it was painful to walk. Let me just say this....when you call a "good reputation" urgent care for suggestions on another good location because they were about to close and they proceed to tell you to go to all of the chop shop locations and has the audacity to be honest and say that they wouldn't send their family members there,but you should check it out...it's time to find a new one. Thank goodness I found Impact Urgent care this evening. It is a legit,clean, and caring facility. I had a great experience the moment I walked in the front door(even when it was at 7:50pm and they were closing shortly). The entire staff from the receptionist,to the nurse and the doctor were all pleasant and seemed genuinely concerned. The wait wasn't long and the waiting room itself wasn't one that you would see in a nightmare and pray that you don't catch something from sitting on the chairs. Thank you so much Dr. Jackson and staff for taking care of me. Brought my grandfather, 84 years old, to this urgent care after he rubbed his eye and gave himself small cuts. His eye was red and had blood clots. Came to urgent care, they said he would get his eye washed except no one knew how to do it. They looked up YouTube videos to find out how to properly wash his eye. Doctor decided he needed antibiotic eye drops. After 20 hours, 3 trips and calls to the pharmacy and the doctor they still had not sent his prescription over. Very frustration situation. Arrived at 4pm on Friday at 1pm in Saturday still no prescription. Stay away please. read more

A little disappointing today. Came in for my son and had to wait a little over an hour just to get in a room. It's kind of sad because there are two in front, one nurse in the back, and the physician. There are actually more staff members than patients here. They seem to be very unorganized and are not utilizing their time correctly. They are all very pleasant and I appreciate that. We have come here in the past for my husband 3 times, my daughter once and myself once. We live close to the mall and travel this way because of the quick and efficient way of their work here. Today is either an off day or the staff here needs to learn how to manage their time. We are still currently waiting to see the physician and I completely understand and again appreciate that we are being treated as humans and not like cattle. I took my son in to urgent care on a Saturday because he had been having flu like symptoms and they gave me medicine and he did not get better And we finished all of the medicine then I going to get a doctor's note and they tell me that they cannot excuse my son from school Monday Tuesday and Wednesday that they can only excuse it up until Monday because Saturday Sunday and Monday count as 3 days which is stupid because the schools don't count those days. If I could give this place a zero star I would , the staff was really nice and friendly but the doctor had no idea what he was talking about my throat has been hurting and I knew something was wrong he pretty much told me nothing was wrong I was perfectly fine and as far as my ears he said they are perfectly fine just dry, mind you my ears are really crusty, plugged up with ear wax and my ears ring from how plugged they are , I left with confusion so I went to ANOTHER urgent care the other dr. was very nice explained everything that was going on and had told me there was something wrong with my throat and prescribed me with medication so it can help. Went in with a really bad eye infection, took over an hour to get a prescription. Doesn't sound so bad for an urgent care, but I forgot to mention they had a total of 3 patients including me. Waiting room completely empty. After receiving the prescription I drove home. Called in soon after to Walgreens to find out the doctor prescribed me an out of date eye drop prescription. So I call impact care over 20 times to get no response. Had to drive over to find out that they closed. All the signs say 6pm is there closing time. Don't know if the clocks are messed up or it's just the facility being Terrible at keeping up with there hours of business. Definitely not coming back. read more

Sadly, that kind of attention in the medical field is increasingly rare these days. Not only did you cover all the reasons why she may be feeling the way she was, but you also gave her the script she thought she needed (child loves her WebMD when she's sick lol) just to hold onto in case she felt she needed it. You also explained the positive and negative effects of the RX so she would know what she might expect if taken. She has not asked me to fill it and I agree she doesn't need it. I could visibly see the stress fall off of her as we walked out with her safety net in hand.Thank you again for showing us you actually care about people which is such an important quality in the medical field. You're going to change so many lives! You've already made a great positive impact on one little girl interested in medicine herself. This place is terrible I received in the mail a statement for my bill that had already been paid the day of my visit. I have been trying to get a hold of their billing but they have only one person Monday to Wednesday from 8-12 that never answers the phone. I've finally gotten a hold of them 2 weeks later and come to find out they are billing for 2 days when my visit was one day the Errors and service of this place is amazing I once again would not recommend. I find it inconvenient to once again be put in a position to be dealing with this place yet again, they clearly don't have shit together here and that goes for the medical attention you receive as well as billing info. I wouldn't be surprised if the positive reviews are faked because that's how little faith I have that this has ever been greater than the terrible service you receive now. I'm surprised they are even running considering they never answer the phones and take 3 hours to help each patient for an urgent care that is ridiculous considering the amount of staff as well as patients that you can see all in the parking lot which is less then 10 people your better off going to an actual urgent care that will assist you urgently. Please don't waste your time coming here I don't think you'll get the adequate care you deserve. Not even worth the 1 star given, is I could give 0 stars know I would have. read more

My first visit went extremely well. The staff was friendly the doctors were helpful but my next visit is what is making me change my review. The girls at the front desk encouraged me to change my primary doctor to their office doctor which was fine because my first experience went so well. I really feel like they did great the first visit just to get me to sign up with them. I was in serious pain and needed a referral because their doctor couldn't help me anymore. Day after day phone call after phone call and still could not get a referral. I asked to meet with the main doctor instead of the PA and they could never tell me when he was available. I really do believe this facility is run by physicians assistants and their doctor doesn't exist since he wasn't able to ever see me. I ended up switching doctors again and the worst part is my insurance still never got contacted for a referral. My paperwork just sat. Shame! read more

After living up in the HD for almost 10 years I can finally say that we have a competent, caring and professional Urgent Care! I had to take my 19 day old in and was dreading going to the other Urgent Care offices but the nurse advice line referred me here and I am so glad they did. The office was clean and the employees were wonderful (and we even came in 15 minutes before closing.) Dr. Jean Pierre took his time to thoroughly check out my son, ask questions, answered all my questions and even gave me advice on how to put an eye ointment in when my own pediatrician did not (turns out I was doing it wrong...) I wasn't going to write anything negative but couldn't hold it. 1st of all, I have told Dr. Pierre that Anthony is very u professional when speaking and he brushes it off. Seems like he gets it from Dr. Pierre himself bc when I went to an urgent care down the hill and specifically asked to not be seen by Dr. Pierre bc I had a life threatening condition that continued to be overlooked at his practice up the hill, I could hear him talking smack about me not wanting to see him while I was in a room. He cam NOT take criticsm at all so not sure how well his practice will do. So in Sept 2017 I was going in with abdomen pain and almost felt like it was UTI symptoms. So the lady PA I saw had my urine dipped and sent me off with macrobid for UTI. 4 days later I felt WORSE, knowing symptoms should subside within 48-72 hours, I went back in. Anthony was at the desk and when I told him why I was there he said "well you gotta finish all of it before it helps"... ummm no Anthony and you shouldn't be directing patients or giving medical advice either because you aren't a physician. So he gets me checked in and Jennifer notices I'm there and goes "oh hey, we were going to call you today to tell you that your culture came back negative " which means no UTI. So I'm in the room with the same PA and she's like "well you're UTI symptomatic and your blood cells are higher etc in your urine, maybe your resistant to macrobid and she gives me ANOTHER antibiotic for UTI after she just heard Jennifer say my culture was negative. So I go on my way. Then about a week later I'm at work in excruciating pain and decide to go to Dignity Health urgent care, a place I've trusted for years. That's when I noticed Dr. Pierre was there too and requested not to see him bc obviously I've had horrible experience and no relief using his practice and he took it u professionally and I could hear him talking about it. He doesn't understand that his staff is a reflection of his practice basically. So the PA at dignity health sent me to emergency room RIGHT AWAY suspecting something was very wrong and 6 hours later I was having emergency surgery to have my appendix removed. God for bid I continued to go back to impact care and ended up seeing the same lady, I could have died! I am reminded why I NEVER use care up here anymore. read more
