Nothing felt rushed at all. I felt heard and that my care really mattered to them. I'm extremely claustrophobic and anxious of small spaces so they showed me the room where I'd get the CT scan and the woman who did the actual scan was nothing short an angel for me! She eased my worrying mind. I honestly hate seeing the doctor so it took a lot for me to come (and find out I had a fractured rib) but if I ever find myself in this situation again I will come back with no hesitation! I even called my insurance company and said TUAC at Chippewa location is In network Instead of putting Me in a room the I take person was more concerned with the manager had to say and took my credit card "just in case". In the mean time they took other patient before me. An EMT took my vitals . I waited almost an hour in room finally I walked out and the EMT said the provider is coming and I said when? He says there are about 5. Ahead of you!!! I said that's why I signed up for Save my Spot all you care about is $$! I told them they'd get a bad review from me and I'd notify BBB and my insurance company and my employer. Today I look at my credit card statementsand they charged me 50.00!

I had what was, without question, the most frightening medical experience of my life at this…read morehospital. After my appendectomy, I was discharged despite having clear signs that I was not well enough to do so. My hgb dropped after surgery to a 7.7 AFTER a blood transfusion. My blood pressure which is normally high was at 111 (very low) for me. And the medical team believed those were safe signs for me to be discharged. 6 hours later my heart rate is at 120+ while at rest for many hours and my hgb dropped to 6.3 when I had to painfully return to the ER and wait 5-6 hours to be finally brought to the ICU. There I was given two more blood transfusions and doctors said they saw "a little blood in my abdomen that is totally normal after this type of surgery" I don't believe it was a small amount of blood for ALL of this to happen to me. Looking back, it is terrifying to think about what could have happened to me if I had waited longer to seek help. What was most upsetting was feeling dismissed when I was clearly experiencing symptoms that suggested something was wrong. As a patient, I trusted the medical team to recognize potential complications and keep me safe. The physical recovery has been difficult, but the emotional impact has been just as significant. I now have serious anxiety about seeking medical care because of this experience. I lost confidence in the hospital's judgment and in the way my health concerns were handled. I am sharing this review so that others can be aware of my experience and so the hospital can take a hard look at how postoperative patients are evaluated before discharge. No patient should leave feeling unheard or find themselves back in the hospital facing a potentially life-threatening complication shortly after being told they were well enough to go home. Unfortunately, because of what happened, I do not feel comfortable returning to this hospital in the future.

All of my experiences here -- to see a couple of specialists and to get some imaging -- were good. I don't know whether the cafeteria I visited was the main one or a minor dining establishment, and I can't describe where I was, but the transition time between breakfast and lunch couple have been better. I wish more of the offices validated parking fully. Only one did. The others did at 50%.

I found Esse Health Southside Family Practice after calling several places and being told over and over that they are no longer accepting new patients. I ended up making an appointment with Dr. Foersterling and I thought he was pretty nice during our first and only meeting. He even recommended my new gynecologist during my first visit and looked up their phone number for me! I rarely ever go to the doctor. I only really go when I feel like I absolutely need to but I have called their office several times to inquire about issues and have recently made an appointment for my biometrics and blood work to turn in to my insurance and the lady on the phone was very helpful and accommodating. My only issue was, I do remember during my first visit a couple of the front desk ladies were talking fairly loud about having way too much fun the night before. It seemed slightly unprofessional. However, as far as the service from my physician goes, I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this place and Dr. Foersterling to others.

I have a family member currently without insurance and unable to get their prescribed birth…read morecontrol. Traditional Dr offices were not accommodating or friendly with the lack of insurance. We called Planned Parenthood and explained the situation. They advised that some of their locations currently had a grant where birth control could be obtained at no charge and they gave us the locations. This location is one of them. We set an appointment and family member asked me to go with them. The appointment went great from the time we arrived. There is a full security check here so be prepared for that. It was pretty easy. Once we entered their office an employee assisted us right away. They took patient through all the paperwork and the process. I sat in for a portion of the appointment with the medical professionals and was highly impressed. One of the first things they asked was if the person wanted me in the room - I love this for the patient! The person did want me there, so I stayed. They went through medical history, reason for visit and options. Everyone was thorough with options and effects. Family member was able to obtain birth control on that same day and felt so much relief. At their regular Dr office they had been going to they were told the appt alone could be $250+ and that the birth control could be $1000 or more... If you are hesitant, I would encourage you to visit this location. Every person we encountered was friendly, informative and patient. We felt very comfortable.
