Quite good - a bit of a wait in line, but it's nice out! I had the spicy veggie wrap, and I love the bread. It's really fresh with a great flavor and texture. I also really liked the flavor of the roasted peppers and the pickled peppers, and the romaine was very green and fresh. It was a bit messy, so be prepared with lots of napkins, and I so wish they tamed down their onions with just a soak in water or better yet, quick pickled them. That would really send it over the top and I wouldn't be reaching for the mints all afternoon. However, I waited at least 1 hour for a relatively simple wrap and that was really frustrating. They said that their fryer was broken that put a delay on orders with fries... but I didn't get any fries. I feel like an appropriate wait probably would have been 20-30 minutes, not 1 hour. The wrap was decent, I feel like it was well stuffed but the sauce used could have been just a little thicker so that it wasn't dripping everywhere. By the time I placed another order they were out of the risotto balls I had initially ordered. The wrap is flavorless, literally no seasoning! If the wrap was stuffed like the photo, the roasted red pepper would've added SOME flavor but unfortunately, I only received a piece of pepper. Pretty much on the dot, had my name called and got my food. Was told to start from the top down as that's the way they set up and provide their wraps. Good experience so far and a friendly tip to boot. Got in my truck and had two bites and Holy Mother of God was this thing amazing. Cheese is gooey, meatballs tender and flavorful, marinara sauce a trip to flavor town, and it's to go! Definitely worth the wait, saw the other reviews and they were appraising this Restaraunt on wheels as much as I am. So glad I tried this place out. 11/10 would recommend anybody to get food here. So, first thing you gotta know is, food trucks are awesome. I've eaten at a number of them, and haven't had a bad experience yet. I think there's a deep passion to make good food from the proprietors of food trucks. It's more challenging than a brick and mortar establishment. And Impasto is a cut above them all. First, their food. They're Italian inspired wraps, using a grilled flatbread. This gives the flatbread a crispness you don't normally get otherwise. The wraps themselves are a good 8" long, and 3" in diameter. In other words. HUUUUUUUUUGE. Small eaters will have leftovers, and big eaters will be satisfied and then some. Quality of the food is top notch; all fresh ingredients, and a good variety of wraps. They also have Parmesan garlic fries and these cheese and rice balls, like hush puppies but way better. Every wrap is stuffed like a build-a-bear. And it's all SO GOOD. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Since it's all made to order, expect a bit of a wait. But this is food you don't mind waiting for. Trust me on this. It's a little more expensive than an value meal at the burger joints, but you pay for quality, yo. Gotta mention service. The guy at the register is really nice. I had an issue on my second visit about getting onions held (I asked, it got missed). Next time, I mention to him to remind the kitchen to hold the onions (I'm allergic). He not only guarantees it'll be made right, he doesn't charge me for the wrap! I wasn't expecting that. That's how you make and keep a happy customer! This is my favorite food truck that I've encountered so far in the Detroit area. I am vegetarian and they have a few options. I've had both of the vegetarian sandwiches and I can't pick a favorite. They're both super delicious and fresh. I love the bread that it's wrapped in and the fact they make their own ricotta and mozzarella (!!!).
