I found Tracy after a series of unfortunate events led me away from my previous stylist. (7+ years!) So you can imagine how distressed I was in my search. Not everyone knows how to do interlocking, and not everyone knows how to do color on locs without needing to double process. But she's skilled, thorough and gentle at the same time. Her shop is intimate (so be prepared for some quality 1:1 time) and she may be a little more expensive than other locticians in the area, but it's worth it. My hair looks good and feels good, and she's very accommodating in terms of appointments. (Beware, parking in the neighborhood is a challenge, but that doesn't affect me b/c I can walk!) read more

This salon is one of the best hair salons. The owner and her staff are the sweetest, most professional people ever. I am very tender headed and don't like just any hairdresser to do my hair but i have been fortunate enough and blessed with Tracey for about 16 years. When i leave the salon, she has my hair looking fabulous. I love that i can call her with any questions about hair products and ask for suggestions. This was the best hair experience I've had since I moved to LA 6 years ago. These ladies know how to do some HAIR!!!!! From start to finish, they were professional, but still treated me like I was an old friend. They style with kindness and positive energy and are always checking in to make sure you're satisfied. Was visiting LA for a few days from out of town and needed 2 feed-in braids very last minute (and on a Monday!). The two owners took care of me and provided excellent service.
