This would have been a 1 star review without the owner fixing our original bad experience. We bought the super saver card that gives you 5 free oil changes with oil filter changes plus some other discounts. It seemed like a great deal, especially since my husband needs more than 5 quarts and they don't overcharge for extra quarts. I also have a hybrid so I need a specific oil to keep my warranty going. We made an appointment on a Monday for a Thursday. When we got there Thursday, I waited for 15 minutes before having to walk into the shop to ask for help. They changed the oil on my car and my husband hadn't seen them change the oil filter (and I was LONG overdue for an oil change) so he watched as they did his car and again, no change of oil filter. He confronted the guy and showed the card that said "oil change with filter". The tech got very defensive and said they were out of oil filters so there was nothing he could do and they had already drained the oil so we were stuck. We asked why they had made the appointment with us or let us come if they knew they didn't have the supplies and they had no answer. After some inappropriate words from both the tech and my husband, we planned to come back the next day for them to do it right. Our second experience was WAY better because the owner was present. He gave us credits for our 2 oil changes back so we still have 5 to use and was very apologetic. We got our oil re-changed with the filters this time. We will continue to use our super saver card but will probably watch the oil change every time to make sure they don't try to skip the filter again. I suggest other people do that as well. read more

I bought a Super Saver card for 5 free oil changes and multiple other discounts!! Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust, so I crossed my fingers and went for it. The place was tucked in and a little hard to find, but was directed it was behind Los Dos Molinos. Bingo. I dropped my wifes car off first just to test the waters onna oil change. Figured it would take as long as AllTune usually takes (3-4hrs), I was absolutely shocked when 20-30mins later they were already calling to come pick it up!! As I was picking the car up I asked if there was anything that needed immediate attention, I was pleased to hear her car is solid!! Alltune seemed to always say I needed this and that. I would recommend this place for oil changes and basic repairs, havnt had anything major happen so not sure how they would perform, but im sure they'd be fairly priced!! Gjob guys!! read more

I have worked with Craig for nearly a decade. I adore him and this shop. They have helped me thru 5 cars and I trust him more than I trust any other shop or dealer. They always do SUCH good work and so quick and helpful. They are always so so nice to me and I never feel like I am being swindled. (which is a big deal as a woman) I tell everyone I know to go here. You should too. They do a great job and they'll get you in same day in an emergency. Craig even checks my newly purchased vehicles for any issues so I can take them back to the dealership if need be. Years ago we purchased a Tahoe from Trucks Only (you don't want my review on them) and I immediately took that Tahoe to Craig and his team to check out. Not only did he give the Tahoe a once over, he found something. Something HUGE (the tahoe had been in a HUGE accident and the whole undercarriage was shot) I was able to take it back to Trucks Only Liars and have them replace it at no cost to me. Not only is Imperial amazing, affordable, and nice. They're LEGIT. I can't say enough good things about Imperial Auto and Craig but I am running out of room, so I'm going to stop now. read more

Drove in from California and experienced problems with AC. I called a few mechanics and all said they couldn't fit me in. Called Imperial Auto and I explained my situation and told me to come right in ..... It was already 5 pm and they close at 6. They took a look and quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved it. These folks were so darn polite, respectful, and honest. This is about as good as it gets for auto repair ... And made me feel right at home in their air conditioned living room/office with TV. Wish all mechanics were as good .... Integrity means something to this business and it's so great to see that customer service is still a priority for this business. I have found my mechanic. I had used this shop a few times for oil changes from a discount Super Saver card. They always finished quick and did a good job, refilling all fluids and letting me know what might need to be repaired. They also did not charge me extra, as most shops do, as my 2002 Cadillac Deville takes appx. 8 quarts of oil. Again, they told me what MIGHT need to be repaired. There was no "the sky is falling scenario", pressuring me into getting unnecessary repairs at that moment. But I was let know it should get fixed eventually. This honesty brought me back to the shop when I had a little extra cash to put into my ride, and I was very pleased with the results. I needed my fuel pump replaced which caused some fuel injection, and loss of power issues. Also, I had several leaks of my radiator, which suggested I needed all hoses connected to my radiator replaced. This was all done on one Saturday at a very reasonable rate. Many mechanics do try to fleece you because Cadillacs are supposed to be harder to fix. I did not feel this way at all. The work was done properly and I felt Craig, the shop manager, was straight up and explained everything completely and honestly. OEM parts were used in the repair and I was not gouged a higher price. They also saved all the old parts taken out to show the customer the wear on them. He even replaced my thermostat for free! And my gas gauge, which has never worked in the 2+ years I have owned the car was now operational, also at no extra charge! Overall a very positive experience. I am comfortable that Imperial Auto and Craig will be my mechanics for years to come. read more

I had been here a few times recently to get oil changes in both of my cars. So when my check engine light came on in one, i took it to them. From the earlier visit, they told me i needed new drive belts. So when i went in i said go ahead and change the drive belts and find out whats up with the check engine light. They said no problem, and sent me on my way. Cool. For those of you who dont know, theyre only open mon-fri, 8am to 6 pm. So 5:30ish rolled around and i still hadnt heard from them, so i called. They said they did an inspection and i need new drive belts.... uh... yeah.. i know. They said they also found what was wrong with the check engine light. And instead of calling me earlier to tell me and ask to get started working, they didnt call and sat around with my car all day. Whatever, so i asked how long itd take to do the work. He told me hed have it ready by 6pm friday. Cool, do it. So friday rolls around, and both my bf and i work, and couldn't get there till 5:30 ish. Since they still hadnt called me, I called at around 4, no answer. I waited a few minutes and called back, no answer. So i left a voicemail and called about 15 times inbetween then and 5:30 when i got there. No answer. I got there and the shop was closed. Really?! You close 2 hours early before the weekend, when you're not open and i cant get my car back until monday, and you cant even call me? it gets better. i went in monday, and they said they had my wrong number written down and they tried to call that number. Drew the mechanic, said he got my voicemail, got my right number, and had been in the shop all day Saturday. Why the hell couldnt you call me Saturday?! You guys had SO many opportunities to correct the situation, and didnt. You were rude and literallu argued with me instead of just saying sorry, ya messed up. I am SO dissapointed and i will NEVER go back. I DISCOURAGE ALL OF YOU FROM GOING HERE. read more

They don't try to up-sell you or sell you something you don't need. They take the time to explain "whats wrong" with the vehicle and make suggestions accordingly. Very accommodating. This guy was absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough good things. I had a problem with my AC, and I originally took it to the guy next door, because he had AC in his title. I explained what was going on, and he said he had to do a test on it, which cost $85. After doing the test, he determined that he couldn't fix it, because it has to do with the inside, not the outside of the AC. To his credit, he knocked my price down to 55. But he couldn't fix it. So I walked next door to Imperial, explain the situation, and he said man, I wish you would have taken it to me first. I don't need to do a diagnostic. Based on what you told me, I know exactly what the problem is. So we set a time, and he fixed it, and it works remarkably well now. I am nice and cool in the Arizona Sun period and it was very very very affordable. I can't say enough good things. Top notch. I have some more car issues to deal with, and I will absolutely be taking all of my business to him first read more
