OMG!!! You will not believe what happened to me today when visiting here!! I own a Kia Forte Coupe that had both side mirrors completely frozen in the closed position. Trips to other repair shops were totally nonproductive. Rico Rodriguez, the parts department manager, came out to look at the mirrors. In less than a minute, by flipping the indoor mirror switch several times, the right mirror immediately responded. Manually massaging the interior of the left mirror resulted in that mirror also responding. I was absolutely elated!! And then, to top it all off, Rico refused to bill me or accept any gratuity!!! For the first time in 28 years someone decided to remove and steal a moulding from a 1997 Mercedes C230. Fortunately Mercedes had an inventory that shipped a replacement from Germany. Now the hard part was to find a body shop who could help paint the moulding to match the original door trim. This particular piece was so small and most likely no auto body shop would want to waste their time with this project. Bad Business Practice, Improper Repair, and Deceptive Lies Good rating is very misleading; here is my honest review why. Because Imperial Body Shop works for insurance volume repair, not for quality repair. It implies Imperial Body Shop will cut corners to improperly repair your vehicle. They do not care about your vehicle. I am only focusing on one major issue out of other issues. I got my CRV back with a replacement of an aftermarket fender fitment issue. I came back and informed Imperial Body Shop that the aftermarket fender in question is defective and OEM fender should have been used or given an option, but they deceptively insisted that it can be adjusted to align the panel gap and clear my driver door from scraping, so I returned to resolve the issues, rather than contacted my insurance in the first place. According to my bad experience, Imperial body shop forced align and fit the aftermarket fender by bending the aftermarket fender to make it fit, leaving indentations like dents at the worked area. Yes, they barely fixed the issues by damaging the aftermarket fender TO MAKE IT FUNCTIONAL. IT IS JUST UNACCEPTABLE that Imperial Body Shop in business for 35 years would go to such length to make this aftermarket fender to fit so they would not need to replace it or contact my insurance to actually get an OEM fender to replace it properly. As a result, I am left with external and internal damages with the aftermarket fender during the improper forced adjustment. So take your vehicle here at your own risk. I would not even bother about their lifetime warranty because these kinds of bad business practice, improper repair, and deceptive lies only end up with a more costly repair elsewhere. read more

The young man who handled my case, Chris, was thoroughly respectful and professional. After a couple of weeks my car was ready to be picked up. Upon examining the work I was not satisfied with how it looked. To make a long story short I contacted my insurance company, AAA, as well as Imperial Body shop, and we mutually decided to have the vehicle made right. My car was dropped off at the shop the day I left for vacation, and literally was ready the day I got back (a week and a half later). I was driving to go pick up a rental car when Allan called & let me know it was already ready! The customer service at Imperial Body Shop is top notch. From my initial set up with Angel, to all of my communication with Allan. They kept me in the know, informed, and very clearly wanted the best for me and my vehicle! You get what you pay for. This place is quality; straight to the point. Looks as if nothing ever happened. Matches the dealers paint perfectly, and the car was back on time. Glad the owner was so personable, and that this place stands behind their policies. Highly recommend for any minor, or major issue on a vehicle. Good hard working mechanics. The only thing is communication between the front desk, and the owner getting back to you seems to fall short.
