My Experience With Boss Collision (Owner: Jon Garcia) I really hate having to write a negative review, especially about a small business, but I hope my experience helps someone else before they makes the same choice I did. I originally chose Boss Collision after seeing their good reviews. Jon was very responsive in the beginning, and that was honestly the only positive part of the entire experience. After dropping off my car, communication became extremely difficult. I rarely got updates unless he needed a signature or insurance information. I told Jon early on that I needed my car completed before the end of September so I could trade it in for a new Tesla and take advantage of the tax credit. He assured me it would be no problem. Unfortunately, that became the theme of the entire process: over-promise and under-deliver. Because my car is a Tesla, it needs to be charged regularly so the battery doesn't get damaged. Jon told me his team would handle it and that I didn't need to bring my charger. I later learned the car wasn't charged for an extended period, and my low-voltage battery ended up needing replacement after sitting at 0% for weeks. On top of that, my repair took more than a month longer than the 30 days covered by insurance. Jon had promised to reimburse the additional costs, but he stopped responding entirely afterward. The only people who actually tried to make things right were Hugo and Jason, but since they were third-party, their ability to help was limited. If you want to save yourself stress, I personally recommend going elsewhere, somewhere with an owner who treats customers the way they'd want to be treated themselves. I take no pleasure in leaving this kind of review as a small business owner, but if it helps even one person avoid the headache I went through, it's worth it. read more

Take your business elsewhere!! John is the person who handles the phone calls, but you will never meet the guy since he is in another state. Makes numerous excuses and avoided my phone calls and stopped updating me on the vehicle after it began to take longer than he initially estimated me it would be done by. Hugo is the guy working on the vehicles and owns Boss Customz which is where you will be instructed to take the vehicle. He and Juan do not take pride in their work and are just as unprofessional making false promises. They have all pointed blame at eachother during this process with Hugo even telling me "I have my own customers, I can say screw his customers and he can deal with it." John made it sound real nice in the beginning and even instructed me on the steps to take with insurance. Said they needed more time with car because of a late part and then repeatedly requested for the payment from the insurance and wouldnt allow any other form of payment except Zelle. John reached out to say my vehicle would be done on the following Friday (10 days after I dropped my car off initially) and when I went to pick it up, Hugo was noy there and Juan tried to tell me my vehicle was finished.. looking like that (pictures posted). The paint did not match, clumps in the paint, various defects, and they scratched my trunk to which John tried to play the "how do we know it wasnt already scratched before" card when Hugo had pointed it out to me and said they would take care of it. He did not and wasnt there when I went to pick up my car the second time, 15 days later. They claimed they would do a better job if I left my car another 5 days with them after the first time they said it was done and they did not. The paint is still a shade lighter and they didnt even properly fix the scratches on my trunk. Still a few clumps in the paint as well. Absolute nightmare of an experience. Go literally anywhere else for your body shop needs! EDIT: John has now been harrassing me outside of business hours because of the review I left. He did not answer the phone or return my car for the entire day until he saw that my review was posted. I asked him to only communicate to me in regards to fixing the vehicle and instead threatened me and continued to message me past 10pm. That is the type of absolute unprofessional customer service you will receive here. read more

My review keeps getting removed, but I'm going to keep posting this because you guys deserve to know where you are leaving your car and who you're leaving your car with. Side note when they start blocking your calls make sure you call them at 714-234-0556. They'll call you from that number trying to figure out who you are first. Also, take a look into Sarkis his record includes "owning or operating a chop shop" on local crime news. I didn't do my research until after my sorry experience. First, my husband contacted this place requesting for assistance in getting the hood to our Porsche sitting flush after an accident. He spoke with Hugo. He took the car to him on 6/13/24 and was told he'd have an estimate in a week. We left the car with him, first week passed by, no answer from Hugo on 6/21 Friday. So we assumed they're busy. Another week goes by and now he's dodging my husbands calls because he won't answer him via calls or text. I called Hugo the end of the second week and he answers after a couple rings. I ask him the status and he tells me he'll email me the estimate by end of day and to email him. I never got a response back. No surprise. So we let another 2 and a half weeks pass with no communication to this man. I was over the dodging, between this time we call from different numbers because I realized mine and my husbands calls were going straight to voicemail each and every time. So finally we show up 7/18. I record the entire encounter with him. He tells us he never spoke with my husband and that "John" spoke with him. At no point did that ever happen. Then he starts fyi get aggressive with me and my husband. So we just want our car back at this point & tired of the excuses he kept making up. I ask politely for my keys and he tells me they're in the car, I check and they're not there. I ask him to get my keys and he tells me "you're on my time I'm working on this car and I'll get them when I'm done" at this point I contact the POLICE. How pathetic to involve them for this waste. Eventually cops arrive and finally got my keys. read more

I wouldn't trust Jonathan G. and Hugo. Despite their "good " reviews it's all for show. If you haven't noticed, all their photos on their IG, Yelp and Google are outdated, and possibly not even theirs. I recommend you do your research on this location. They will leave your car sitting and collecting dirt then dismiss your calls and emails. Then call you from another number to see if you're a new client or the same one. Mind you, I respect peoples time and can understand that getting auto body repair takes time but there is NO communication from these people on the status of your car after an entire month they didn't even LOOK at my car or provide an estimate.
