After the insurance company of the person who hit me initially accepted liability, there was an issue where they later attempted to deny it due to paperwork not being filed properly. We took one of our cars to Brea Auto Body for a bumper repair on the recommendation of neighbor. We were amazed by the experience. Unlike other shops that quoted us two to four weeks that we would be without the car, Jim at Brea Auto Body had us come in for an inspection so that he could determine what parts that he would need to order. He explained in detail what needed to be done and provided options that helped to reduce the cost. He called us a few days later when the parts had arrived to bring the car in, and he had the work finished in two and a half days. The work was superb and the cost was exceptionally reasonable. I went to Brea Auto Body several years ago for some repairs on my Lexus and the work was amazing!!! Recently I bought a new Lexus and didn't realize that it had a little paint damage until several days later so the dealership said too bad. I went to Brea Auto Body and Eddie looked at it and told me to go to the dealership and buy paint to match and come back. The next week I went back and Eddie took my car around back and shortly after he came back to get me he was done. The car looks great and I really have to look to see where he repaired it. He is the best!!! The entire staff is great! When I asked him what I owed for the repair he said nothing it wasn't that big of a deal. Who does that???? I will never take my car anywhere else. Wow! Where to begin? My Honda CR-V had its back window bashed in with other damage to the back swing gate. We were going to take it to Fix, but my wife looked up its reviews and wasn't impressed. I had called Brea Auto body to help fix a minor issue with my car. Yolanda at the front end was very kind & helpful and had me bring in my car that same morning. After arriving it was quickly taken around back by Jim to see what was going on. He clearly explained the issue and was nice enough to show me what work needed to be done... I am not knowledgeable cars so this really helped me visualize the damage. Jim does honest (local/family/small) business. He's straight up and doesn't try to upsell you or replace parts unnecessarily at his gain. He invites you into his office and shows the "before and after" of his work and does honest business as far as body work goes. I'd recommend him as a local Brea staple. I haven't even gotten my actual front bumper body work done on my Volkswagen but he fixed another issue that I needed done with urgency and did it at a very respectable labor price. The quote he gave me for my front bumper body work is very respectable for a local shop. Can't match it unless I want to go to a sketchy hole-in-the-wall place. If you want your paint and body work done RIGHT--then this is your place. I have done business with this shop since the 1980's---when they were located on Saturn Ave. They do impeccable work and they are honest and fair. Last week, I was driving my mom's car and noticed someone clipped the front right bumper so it was kinda flapping around. I took it to Brea Auto Body and a tech came out, assessed the problem and fixed the bumper on the spot. I was in and out in about 20mins! I was distressed, because I only have one car and to think I would have to wait months before the part came in was extremely stressful. Alan at the shop worked doggedly to track down the part. He did not give up, and he eventually located the part, repaired my car, and now I have it back. This job goes the extra mile by keeping the customer constantly updated.
