OUTSTANDING REVIEW: I wasn't the girl who had her wedding planned out growing up, who liked dresses, or like planning events. I visited another Bridal Store before Impression Bridal. It was recommended by my Wedding Planner as well as my sister (whose 2nd dress choice was found here). I called and made a same day appointment. Tori was my stylist and personal shopper and she was amazing! First, she and I sat down for a short interview so that she can figure out what I am looking for and what I envision when it comes to my wedding dress. Tori then goes and picks out several dresses for me to try on and helps me in the changing room which is very spacious. With each dress, she takes in my critiques on what I like and dislike about the dress (as well as my maid of honor who was there with me). This allows her to narrow down searches and understand what I am looking for even more. I did not feel rushed as we looked for the perfect look and style. She was with me for about 2.5-3 hours just so we can figure out exactly what I wanted even though the original appointment was supposed to be 1.5 hours long. It was a complete change for me since I was at another bridal shop the day before and I felt very rushed there and was limited to only 1.5 hours and they left me as soon as the time was up. Anyway, because of the time Tori took with me to find what I envisioned, I said yes to the dress when she asked! My daughter and I went in looking for her prom dress and found one easily. Our sales lady was wonderful, helpful and patient! I called once to check on the arrival and they assured me that they would call me when it came in...called 2 weeks later and it had been in, tried getting scheduled for a fitting and was told they were booked and we would have to pay extra for a rush due to our prom date. My daughter picked up the dress and we noticed multiple holes, snags, hem is uneven and needing is falling off. For what we paid this is a very cheap dress and poorly made. As as son to be bride I was so excited to go try on dresses with my girls and chose Impression Bridal Galleria based off of some of the dresses that I saw online. My initial appointment went great and I found my dress. I ordered it and was told that it would be in in August. once it arrived I was called to set up a fitting. Upon arrival I learned that my dress was ordered incorrectly. Half of my dress was white and half orange (some nuede color). Needless to say they admitted their mistake and rushed ordered another dress for me. when the second one came in they called and I asked if they could ship the dress to the Baybrook store since it was closer. the galleria location asked me to call baybrook to schedule a fitting appointment in which I did. After speaking to the manager and telling her what had happened she told me not to worry and that she would personally go to galleria location to pick y dress up. I made my appointment for Thursday at 12. I showed up for my appointment 1 hour early only to be told that my dress was not there and that the manager had worked too many hours and could not go get it as i was told that she would. so now I am there for my fitting with no dress and no call to inform me of this. I ordered my wedding dress from this company. At my initial picking of the dress, I went in found my dress, gave customization details, and my measurements. The bridal rep sent everything off and told me I'd receive my dress in X amount of time. Dress comes and is beautiful! Although once I tried it on the measurements were off, the dress is dress is fitting loose. I proceed to call the company to only me told they don't prov alterations. What?! They sent me the contract I sign with this super vague statement saying all presses will be an additional charge. So are presses considered alterations? Because if so they, in fact, do handle alterations. They offered to send me to a few of their seamstress they use but it all seemed a bit scammy to me. The point is, I paid over $3000 for this dress and at no point of communicating was it brought to my attention this did not include alterations. Just be up front. If that the case, tell me and let me decide if I still want to purchase your product. And if I do, I would have told them to use the exact measurements I gave. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working for Alyse and she was fantastic! She has a genius way of reading the brides body language (good or bad) and adjusting the dress options accordingly. I am newly engaged so I'm a bit all over the place with my dress preferences. She was incredible patient and gave me multiple strategies of thinking that I plan to use moving forward (not just about the dress). Also, as soon as I gave a critique of a dress, she immediately ran to get a dress that fit whatever it was I was looking for - to a T! She's personable, a great listener, and is clearly very knowledgeable about dresses, fit, fabrics, etc. I never felt pressured but rather that she was along the journey with me. I had an appointment at 2:30pm on a Saturday, but ended up coming to Impression Bridal at about 1:00-1:30, as I left the previous bridal store early since it wasn't working out over there. I had to wait a few minutes, which wasn't a big deal since I was at my appointment early. They ended up fitting me in and paired me with Amanda - my fairy godmother!!!! She first sat us (part of my wedding bridal party) down to get an idea of what I wanted, my vision, and to understand me. I wasn't super helpful (thankfully my ladies were) and Amanda was able to piece the parts together of what was going to make me happy. We were sent off to pick a few styles we might like and she picked out a few of her own that she thought I would like. There was probably about 10-20 dresses that were pulled and Amanda was extremely patient with me! Along with picking out dresses, she also gave us a few ideas of what we could do to add on to the dresses I had. For example, some of the more "plain" dresses, she had options of adding in a skirt, cape, and/or a combination of different ideas she had. She helped me in/out of dresses in the dressing room with me and was there at all times. I didn't have to go look for her and she made the whole experience amazing. We narrowed the dresses down and she would ask me what I did or did not like about a certain dress and tried to accommodate as best as she could. I ended up finding the dress that I wanted PLUS more. We stayed way under budget (under $1000), even with all the additional designs and options that I am adding on. Amanda would give me her honest opinion about what I had on, which WAS solicited. The dress I bought was well under budget and I wasn't in love with it on the hanger, BUT Amanda had an idea that made me LOVE that dress she picked out. She took all of the things I had said into consideration and made my dream wedding dress a reality! The dress that I bought wasn't even a wedding dress! I did try ONE wedding dress on (by choice) and even though it was absolutely stunning, I just knew what Amanda put together was more "me" than I can ever have imagined. The experience at Impression Bridal from beginning to end was great. Amanda made it all possible and I cannot thank her enough for that! She didn't try to sway me in one direction or another or try to push certain dresses/styles on me. The atmosphere felt genuine and we felt welcomed there. Thank you for all you did for me, Amanda! I had such a great experience with my consultant Amanda! I went in to look for a dress for my rehearsal dinner and I left with a rehearsal dinner dress and my dream wedding dress! I had already purchased a dress elsewhere but this one made me ugly cry, and that experience alone was magical. Amanda did such a great job, she knew what would look good on my body to enhance my curves and hide my self conscious areas. I went to many bridal stores both in New York and Dallas. My wedding planner told me about Impressions bridal and so I hesitantly made my way down from Austin (where I'm based) to Houston to try dresses on. I worked with T.T and she is the best bridal consultant I've encountered. She took her time to get to know me. She asked questions to really get to know me. She asked things such as, "what are your color schemes," "how do you want to feel," "how do you want your groom to see you." These pre-questions helped us to quickly narrow down choices because she brought in dress choices based on how I envisioned myself. And interestingly, the first dress she brought in was theee exact style of dress I wanted! I couldn't believe it. I had a really bad experience as a new bride shopping at Impression Bridal. With them carrying some designer labels, I had expected a higher caliber of service and staff. When you first walk in, there's a wet, musty smell. Then you're assigned to one of their associates, and I had TT help me. She was very pushy and assumed she knew what my style was, even correcting and making fun of me on dresses that I said I didn't like. She made the experience unbearable, and all I could think of was getting out of there as fast as I could. Completely dissatisfied with the quality and the lack of customer service associated with this brand. I ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses from the company and everything was pretty smooth until my wedding day! All 5 showed up to get dressed and 2 were a totally different color from the other 3. One of my bridesmaid dresses was 1 color in the front and 1 color in the back. When I called the company they tried to blame me to state that my bridesmaids signed off on their dresses. Yes they did but how many bridesmaids do you know go to pick up their dresses all together???? We didn't notice the issue until the day of which is obviously too late!
