I did a keratin treatment today, at Impression Spa - by vicky. My hair were curly and frizzy. After keratin they are straight shiny and manageable. Although I didn't want them to be so straight... and I am missing the volume that I had in my natural hairs... I am waiting for my hair wash after 2 days to check back on the volume of my hair. The hairs are pretty, although they are very much tamed. And I am missing the volume on the top of my head. I hope to get it. I love the new hair... and I am also missing my natural hairs...! read more

I walked in without an appointment and didn't have to wait very long. The people there were very friendly, but the manicurist forgot the entire first half of my manicure before adhering my acrylics, and though she acknowledged it to me, she didn't stop and return to my cuticles to trim them, nor did she discount my final cost. The color that I chose came out of the bottle VERY strangely, it looked as though it had been refilled with some other polish to try to stretch the bottle's contents... The color was not good, and I had to go choose another color with wet nails which ended up marring my manicure. Then she put the new color directly over the bad (and still wet) coat, which resulted in some bubbling of the top color as well as uneven drying, so that 2 hours later when I got home and went to open a cabinet, one entire nail's polish came bunching up. I had gotten the manicure done for a special occasion, and didn't have non-acetone nail polish remover or the time to properly remove it and so I had to scrape the still-undried polish off of my acrylics, leaving a terrible mess on my nails. They were very friendly and not too crowded, but from the quality of their equipment and knowledge about nails, and their poorly-maintained polishes, I think I know why. They used an empty bucket to try and turn my hair into a long inverted bob and my hair doesn't even look the way I wanted it. They cut it short, it wasn't even what so ever, didn't even straighten my hair right. It took 3 people to try and accomplish the look but instead they butchered my hair! I wish I could give this place negative stars honestly. I'm sure the women are decent stylists but please for the love of god if there is a stylist there that's a dude, run for your life. He fucked up my boyfriends hair so bad it looks like a 5 year old stuck a bowl on his head and cut around it. I wanted a simple short on the sides long on the top and he gave a half hearted military cut. The guy was clearly high and deserves to lose his job and have a 3 year old attack his hair. I talked to the manager and she insisted that it was not a bad cut like wow where does she get off. She kept defending her barber and told me I didn't have to pay for it, but she wouldn't fix it. I don't even know how this is fixable. It looks like someone aimlessly threw a shaver at his head. Also did I mention it took a whole hour to fuck up one head of hair? I literally had to make him stop I walked up there and said "I can't watch this anymore". I kept requesting stop cutting it so short, and the stylist straight up ignored me. My opinion of salon's and customer service has completely changed after my experience here. Every other salon I've been to, has offered decent service with mediocre customer support. But this place cares about one thing and one thing only, and that is making sure you leave absolutely satisfied. Everything's about this place was perfect. You walk in, and the floor is spotless. Tools and supplies are organized. It smells like clean people and a sanitary environment. And the overall vibe is happy. The employees (all beautiful women) welcomed us in a way that made us feel like family. The nicest people I've met in Sunnyvale ever, and they just happen to run a salon that had potential to be a nationwide chain. I believe this place deserves 6 stars. These people are ARTISTS. They made us look better than we ever have, and we've been receiving compliments for weeks. They take their time, precision yet efficient and gentle. I didn't know salons like this existed. I barely knew PEOPLE like this existed. It truly is a beautiful experience that I hope you consider. I would love to get into the details, but this review would be an essay, or better yet, a short novel full of amenities, extra services, extraordinary talent, and so many more features that make this place the best at what it does. Cliches just don't do it justice. Not even close. This place is something else. Something beyond words. Whether you need your nails or hair done, these caring ladies will go above and beyond to ensure you will want to come back. Not for your money, but just to see your smile. (And not that fake smile you gave the last lady that did your nails). You can easily tell that this place does not care about your money. They only ask that you help them stay open, for cheaper than any other place in the area. I got a haircut for $8 (men's) and I wanted to pay $20. She insisted on no tip either. Her primary concern is continuing to do what she does best; what THEY do best; and that is to do what they love, while witnessing you love it more. Vicki is the Leonardo Da Vinci with scissors and trimmers, and you will never go anywhere else after your experience her. All the other girls were just as talented, but unfortunately I won't get to experience them until next time. Please, don't even think about going anywhere else. Salon's are just that.... Salon's. My pedicure experience here was even better than all the 5 star reviews. Vicki handled my poor heels calluses so well and also my toes and nails. Kim came in to do a wonderful leg and foot massage, and applied the polish. They are both very nice and friendly, while also being professional. My feet look and feel great, at a very reasonable price, $25. I've paid more and been less satisfied. Highly recommended. read more

Worst haircut and service. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, no shampooing, or wash. She snipped my hair straight across, then use the layering ( hair thinning) scissors to get some layers, added another couple of snips for bangs. In between, she also stopped to chat with another co-worker while evening out my hair which after I washed and dried my hair at home, noticed they were NOT all even. I didn't need to come to a salon for this. My sister would have done a better a job, at least, she can make the ends even. I didn't get the name of the lady that worked on my hair. Completely waste of $35, and now I need to spend more time and money to get it fixed. I came here out of convenience, I was already in the plaza and thought I can kill two birds with one stone! Left the place almost without my eyebrows. The lady was waxing while the phone rang twice for her...it was her friend she said. When she finished my eyebrows, it was so thin and totally different that what we had talked....I request just a clean up only taking the excess. Please do not ever ever ever go to this place. I got my hair cut here and I had told the lady to cut only 1/2 an inch and she cut 6 inches ( yes no kidding ) 6 inches and also very very poorly and uneven cut. I had not gotten my hair cut for a long time due to Covid and really wanted to grow them long so asked for just a small trim. I insisted and requested and explained multiple times that I want only 1/2 an inch cut. She gave me an ugly cut. I lost all my long hair. Very very upset. My usually have a slow growth and they don't grow quickly. Now it will take me a long time to grow them and level them to get them a decent cut. Also the shampoo conditioner they used is cheap duplicate ones. My scalp has been itching since then even after I washed. Also they charged me $50 for a trip. $5 extra for shampoo. Biggest rip off place. They should close down. Will never forgive or forget this place. Worst place. Very rude ppl too. read more

This place can be a little hectic and the staff scattered, but they care about their customers. I've had both good work and mediocre work done here. But I keep going back. I can walk in for a pedicure (which I do once a week) and rarely have to wait. Vicki also does my hair, both cut and color. She does a great job with color. Although she does tend to get distracted. The tip with this place is when you walk in, tell them what time you have to walk out. This is about the only thing that keeps them on track. I scheduled a consultation first with the owner, Vicki, and we spent about 15 minutes discussing different options. She really listened to my concerns as I had gone in thinking I wanted a perm. However, since I have baby fine hair, she gently indicated that my hair would not benefit from a perm, suggesting highlights and color instead. As I had never colored my hair, I was very nervous about this process. But... ready for a change, I thought a "warm subtle color" for the first time might work. Appointment day arrived. I almost backed out- sooo very glad I didn't!! She acknowledged my concerns, helped me relax through the process with her easy conversation and her confidence in her own work. The entire process took about two hours, including a cut and style. WOW! I went in feeling nervous, old and drab. I left feeling elated, ten years younger and quite happy with my soft shiny hair and the "warm subtle color" - much better than I imagined it would be! Thank you Vicki! I met Vicki at the salon adn she was exactly able to understand what I was looking for and gave me a great cuts she is very nice and friendly and so are some of the other staff members there. I was getting my oil changed at midas, and decided to get a quick mani pedi. To my great surprise, I had one of the best manicures of my life. I had a man doing my pedi, and he gave the BEST massage. The woman doing my nails filed and cleaned them to perfection. I was the only customer there, and it was awesome.
