I visited Tracy's the first time, some time back when the lockdown had just been lifted. I was very skeptical but when I went there, there was no one in the salon apart from the two salon staff. She took all measures to ensure safety and it was quite reassuring. The surprising part was how much effort she put in my haircut and how amazing it turned out to be. I got 4-5 inches cut short, wanted to try a new short style look and she did an amazing job. I really appreciate our talent and kindness as well. Tracy is da bomb! In other words, Tracy is my favorite haircutter ("hair stylist," for more fancy people). If you go to the same haircutter for a decade or two, it's hard to say that you "never got a bad haircut" from her or him. But it's true about Tracy: I never got a bad haircut from her, year after year. And, day in and day out, she's always cheerful, polite and joking. Even though I'm almost always late, she never gives me a hard time. Like many other reviewers who have written about her, I have gone to Tracy for ages, when she worked in Mountain View. She has always achieved my objectives of delivering an excellent haircut, cutting my hair as I want, not making me feel badly about my thinning hair, etc. Unlike her prior salon, I like that she has lots of parking, and free Wi-Fi. While I don't use her other services, I hear that she also offers excellent facials, waxing, digital perm (whatever that is), hot oil treatment, coloring and highlighting. If you are a loyal customer and use more of her services, she will give you a discount. I recommend her most highly. read more

I got my hair cut outside, so I didn't notice then, but after I got back home, I noticed problems. I called to ask about fixing my hair. I showed her the picture but it turned out with a totally different hair style and overall I think her work is not detailed enough so I won't go back. I have been at Tracy's salon several times and had a great experience every visit. I used to go with a simple hair cut with my previous salon as I wasn't really confident about them. I was nervous to try new places as didn't want to experiment on myself :) One of my friends at work recommended me to try Tracy's salon. And I am so happy that I did !! Tracy does a fantastic job with haircuts. The first time I went, I showed a picture over phone of which hair style I wanted and she delivered it. Given that my hair starts getting curly as it grows longer, she was still able to strike a balance and get a look of longer hair. I walked out looking younger and smarter. She also gives suggestions for styling my hair as per the haircut and which hair products which go well. The salon is nice and tidy, professional than other places in the area. The staff is friendly and greets well. Booking appointment is easy as they are very responsive over phone. Would definitely recommend getting a haircut here by Tracy. read more

Got dropped off 30 minutes early for my lash extension and haircut appointment because DH had things to do. It worked out because her earlier appointment cancelled so she was ready to start working on me. We did lashes first so that I wouldn't be laying on freshly styled hair. I went with 11, 12, 13s natural volume/thickness. Results as requested and lasted about 4 weeks. For my haircut, I requested a rounded edge, no layers, cut off four inches as it had been a few months since my last cut. Of course, that means more is cut off, due to finishing touches on the ends. Results looked good. Not too many stray length of hair to trim at home. Wash and style is extra, as is flat iron or curling iron. My hair is very straight Asian hair. Most places ask if they can cut it dry, wash and dry it and then do their finishing snips and then style it. So going here for cut only saves me some money and a lot of time because I'm out the door in 20 minutes if I'm getting just the haircut. The first time, I went for the wash, cut and style, but I usually don't have any place to go after, so for me, the extra service is "treat yo'self' more than anything else! The style with hair dryer and round brush came out nice. Would be amazing if my hair looked salon styled on the regular! The price quoted over the phone for a women's haircut of long thick strands, not thick quantity of straight Asian hair, was the price she charged me afterwards. No tricks here. I've been back for a trim and will be back again in a couple months for another one. Her scissors are sharp - I didn't get any split ends between appointments. Yay! She didn't ask if I was still in school, if I had a boyfriend or if I had kids. I hate those questions sooooo much! Five stars!!! Credit cards accepted. I came in wanting red hair and came out with what looks more like brown. I'm just upset because for $75 we weren't even close AT ALL To what I really wanted. If we had to do a few steps before getting my desired color I definitely had time to do so. But i was just told yes. We can do this. I was considering coming back to go brighter but I just don't think I can trust their word... might just stay brown In the sun it doesn't even look red! We have been seeing Tracy for a very long time when she was in a different location. We are so happy to see that she has opened her own salon because her talents are amazing! She has been our stylist for the entire family for many years. She is the only one my husband will see because she is careful and will not chop off too much hair which I hate. It was a great place to be to do ur hair bleach and hair dye. I was looking for a salon for-long time. I was super satisfied with Tracy's art work. It's took almost 5 hours. She is lovely and really patient with me. After a bleach she suggested me with the purple blue color. Also she made a deal blue of the hair root. Which is three different colors. That took her lots of hard work. But when my black hair grow out it will be still beautiful with this new hair look. Super great experience with Tracy. The workers were nice but they completely ruined my hair and it's the worst feeling because I put my trust into their hands. After a long 3 hours of failed bleached and toning, I had to come back for another 2 hours the next day so they could fix their mistakes.
