I was born in 1965 and so those of you in my generation know that we basked in the sun like raisins, never wore sunscreen, and SMOKED! I have soooo much sun damage, to include burning my face to almost 3rd degree level with blisters and hard-skin peeling! And I did this 3 times! I never wore sunscreen much less even moisturizer. When I entered my 40s, freckles and dark spots began to appear on my face and continued to worsen! NO ONE warned us anything back then about the sun!!! Around 2010, a co-worker referred me to Skinfuzion and I met the glorious Kim Hutchinson...Ahhhh....my Skin Whisperer!!! This lady/owner is lovely inside and out; her glowing beautiful skin is a testament to how good she is! Kim possesses an endless knowledge of skincare. She's impressive! And I know she stays updated with the latest skin technologies, because I ask her MANY questions during the treatments! Moreover, her salon is always stocked with the latest skincare products. Skinfuzion Treatments Reviews: IPL/Photofacial - 3 or 4 times per year.......2010 - 2015 * Holy smokes this laser works well! It breaks up, literally, the patches of brown spots around my t-zone and cheek areas. A couple of days after treatment, I would see brown "flakes" sloughing off of my face where the brown spots/patches were. It was a 5-year journey to finally get A Lot of the damage diminished if not removed altogether thanks to Kim. Well worth the journey and worth every penny! (I also stopped exposing my face to the sun, wore the requisite sunscreen, and STOPPED SMOKING!) IPL/Photofacial - 1 or 2 times per year.......2016 - Present * Maintenance to address sun damage flare-ups Microneedling - 2 or 3 times per year.......2013 - 2020 * This is a miracle worker! It helps with skin elasticity and a host of other benefits, but what I believe to be the most beneficial and noticeable outcomes is this: My skin takes on a better texture, it just feels softer, smoother, and tight, like I had a chemical peel. The game changer for me was that Tixel was able to flatten sebaceous glands on my face!!! Only my dermatologist can do this and she has to use a laser that literally burns them on my face, leaving my red almost raw skin to heal from the burning. Tixel does not do that at all!!! It just flattens them and I was thoroughly IMPRESSED AND SOLD! * I asked my dermatologist about Tixel and she relayed, in part, "...that [Tixel] laser beats microneedling and just about any peels you do..." My mom was visiting from out of town and wanted to make her weekend a spa weekend. Because of…read morepregnancy, I was limited to taking only prenatal massages, so I looked up all the highly-rated places in Las Vegas and LOAM came up. It was easy to look over their services on their website, but to ensure my mom and I could do our massages together at the same time, I found calling them was much better. I had booked the 50-minute Prenatal Massage and my mom booked the 50-minute Thai LOAM Massage with a 50% reservation fee. We were required to show up 10 minutes before our appointments to fill out a waiver and survey, change out of our clothes, and get situated on the massage bed. We were originally going to be in separate rooms but they asked if it was okay to put us in the couples' room; not a problem. They set up my bed with the pregnancy wedge for my belly, and it was pretty comfortable. The only complaint I had was that I had a hard time breathing through the little head hole as they layered a lot of white sheets on top of the bed and made the hole smaller and stifling. I found myself having to breathe through my mouth but it was tolerable. For prenatal massages, they only offer light and medium pressure. However, in certain areas I did feel like I got deep pressure especially in my shoulders as I had a few knots and tightness there. Katie/Kathy was my masseuse and she knew exactly how to work out those kinks while still making the experience comfortable for a pregnant person. I still felt like I got deep tissue massage on my shoulders despite the prenatal massage policy of being at maximum medium pressure. My mom said she found her massage relaxing and loved her experience at LOAM. They gave us water cups at checkout and we left feeling pretty relaxed. I did have a bit of shoulder soreness for 2 days afterwards but that is to be expected for getting the incessant knots out of my back--shoutout to Katie/Kathy! Overall, I highly recommend LOAM for their prenatal massages!

PA Cyril Joseph and every single staff member have made such a meaningful impact on my life. I was born with a rare disorder called NF, and unfortunately there is currently no cure. Living with NF is not just physically difficult, but mentally and emotionally exhausting as well. There are days where it affects my confidence, my anxiety, and even how I see myself. It is something I carry with me every single day. Over the years, I have seen many doctors, even traveling outside of the country searching for answers, help, or simply understanding. Sadly, many experiences left me feeling dismissed, unheard, and hopeless. Some doctors barely listened before rushing me out the door. Others made me feel like I was wasting their time. After a while, it became emotionally draining to keep asking for help while feeling invisible. Meeting PA Cyril Joseph changed that experience completely. From the very first appointment, he treated me like a human being instead of just another patient. He listened patiently, never rushed me, and made me feel genuinely heard. The empathy and kindness he showed me meant more than I can explain. For the first time in a very long time, I left a medical appointment feeling hopeful instead of defeated. What makes him so special is not just his medical care, but the way he treats people. CAUTION FRAUD!! I am beyond frustrated with this doctor's office. My husband has not been seen here…read moresince 2023, and suddenly in June 2026 they withdrew nearly $1,000 from our bank account without any authorization, notification, phone call, email, letter, or explanation. What makes this even worse is that we have no idea what this charge is for. We have not received a bill, statement, or any communication whatsoever. During our visits, we used our insurance and paid the required copays at the time of service, so where did this charge suddenly come from years later? And how do they have my card information saved 3 years later? No patient should wake up to find almost $1,000 missing from their account without warning or consent. If there was a legitimate balance owed, why weren't we contacted? Why wasn't a bill sent? Why was money simply taken from our account years after the fact? This situation feels incredibly dishonest and has completely destroyed our trust in this practice. We are disputing the charge and expect a full explanation immediately. Patients deserve transparency, proper billing procedures, and respect, not surprise withdrawals from their bank accounts years later.

DISGUSTING! WOW! So I made this appointment weeks in advance and I got there about 20min early. Then I checked in and they told me my account was locked probably because I have multiple accounts (I think they are just talking about the extra account I had for my dad) and that I needed to sign something so I did. But they said they needed to talk to their manager. I waited in lobby for about 10min. Then they spoke to me and said that they won't be doing my massage because the manager said so and that she would need to talk to me. And I told them well this is really inconvenient because I live really far and it took me about 36 min to get here. When I told them this, they could not care less. They said there's nothing they can do because the manager but to not worry because I won't get charged like that's supposed to be some sort of compensation. I said well at least let the manager know I am very upset about this situation since the drive was long and now I have to drive home (which is another 36min). And they become very defensive so I said I just wish I could have been informed about this before I drove all the way over here and they pretty much said that it was my fault and not there's since they didn't know until I showed up which makes no sense at all since they initially told me my account was locked when I got there. I understand they are just the messenger but that's no way to treat a client. It would have been nice if they could have at least apologized about the situation or inconvenience but they never did. That's customer service 101. I run a business and I would never treat even my worst client that way. Very disgusting way to treat a client. They told me the manager will call me but they have my word I will NEVER be back there or recommend anyone to that establishment after this. Very infuriating situation. read more

I went here a few months ago and I gave it 2 stars because my requests were not met. However, this time it really is upsetting because a family member of mine was in a lot of pain because their profession can be grueling on the body. They have been in a lot of pain recently. So I decided to give this place one more shot. We got the best recommended massages for our situations and the massage itself was ok but the reality is my family is still in a lot of pain and they said the massage didn't help them out at all the following day. And I wasn't even really in that much pain before the massage but now I am in a lot pain and soreness which is odd because it's been several days removed now. The place was clean and calm but we only care for the results mostly. The part that is upsetting the most is that it is a premium price the total for everything was about $475 for the two of us. Which is insane to pay a premium price and definitely not get premium service. We will not be coming back. read more

Leah McBirney is second to NONE! I had my first cupping appointment with her at IMR. I was naturally a little nervous going into this appointment but that was noting compared to the excitement I felt to do this for the first time! I had read articles and seen videos on this time tested tradition and couldn't wait for my turn! I am a father of 3, a runner and I work full time. Through that my back has taken a beating. My lower back especially. I was asked to point out my problem areas so they could be focus on. Once the cupping began with Leah, I was surprised at how relaxed I was. During the cupping, there was a TRUE deep tissue massage being applied to the rest of my body. The combination of the two had me melting into that massage bed. My boyfriend offered to treat me to a massage for Mother's Day and I'd really been wanting to try out IMR as I've heard great things from some friends! The receptionist Arika was extremely helpful when helping me book & chose what massage would be best for me! I ended up choosing a hot stone massage and added CBD to the massage! When I arrived Arika helped me chose which CBD oil I would like for my massage. She explained the purpose of each one and I ended up going with the lavender for stress and anxiety. My masseuse was Matt Navarrette and he was awesome! He greeted me with a warm and friendly smile and asked me if there were any areas I wanted him to focus on. I got a massage here 2 days ago for the first time and it was the BEST massage I've ever had and I have had MANY!! Roxanne is a MIRACLE worker!! I've been heavy into sports most of my life so my body is rarely in perfect working order... There's never a day where I don't suffer from some kind of tension. I gave her a vague description of my sports history and the issues I was having and she INSTANTLY found my trouble spots. All of them. I've been here a handful of times and I've enjoyed every experience. I've seen Meghan, Roxanne and Anna and they were all wonderful! Every time I come in the front desk staff delivers top notch service by offering water and making everything before and after the massage run smoothly. I started a membership here and I love the great price I get with it. I can't wait to try more therapists, IMR is the first place I've ever been to for a massage and I can't see myself going anywhere else. My son took me here in December and I am very disappointed with the results. The massage was good (even though I was in pain at times) at the moment but the next day I felt as though I did not receive a massage at all. I work in construction and I am on the older side so I was excited and really hoping this would help me recover from all the dreaded pain I have had on my body. Normally I would not mind but I feel really bad that my son paid over like $450 I believe for the massages. And this is truly absurd to charge so much since the results simply to do not deliver. I've been here a few times now and its always the BEST experience! Like I always forget my body is capable of feeling so good afterwards. In the past I've been with Roxanne and she is fantastic at deep tissue and working out stubborn kinks. This time I got a prenatal massage with Meghan as I am 6 months pregnant and holy cow! I recently received an hour massage and couldn't be happier. The service was great from beginning to end. When I got checked in, they were very friendly and accommodating. After a great massage focused on a problem area, I booked a follow-up appointment with the Associate before leaving. As the date approached, I received no communication, so I called only to be told there was no record of my booking. Then, a month later (on the same date I had originally booked), I received a call from the manager, Karina, asking why I had missed my appointment. I explained the prior issue and that no appointment existed on my end. A week later, Karina called again to say they would "courtesy waive" a no-show fee. I reiterated that there should be no fee at all, as I never booked that date. I also explained an Associate never called me as they usually do to confirm the appointment and asked if their approach had changed. She responded that she needed to pay her employee and close her books, which missed the point entirely. She also mentioned an email had been sent - I later found it in my junk folder, but I had no reason to look there for an appointment I didn't make. Had I seen it, I would have contacted them to correct their error. While I've had positive experiences at Lapis & Oak, I'm disappointed in how this situation was handled. I understand mistakes happen, and I'll take steps like booking directly through their website rather than with a person and checking junk folders more often. However, what I find most frustrating and the reason for this review, is the lack of accountability and the tendency to shift blame onto the customer.
