She really knows body mechanics, which muscles are tight, she knows how to safely and effectively release trigger points causing impingement and pain. I went to her yesterday after weeks of not being able to easily turn my neck to the left, after a deep tissue massage and ten minutes of cupping, today I feel anew! Sent my boyfriend here as a fun birthday surprise, and he had nothing but good things to say! I left a note when I reserved that this was as a gift for someone else, and they were nice enough to reach out and confirm shortly after I booked. He went off for a 9:15am deep tissue massage, as he works in cars and constantly has an aching back, and when he called me to tell me his massage was over, he sounded almost STONED from how relaxed he was hahaha I was so glad I started his birthday this way, and I'd absolutely 100% recommend doing this as a gift for someone! I had a pinched nerve from February till late March causing my index finger to be numb, upon coming to IMR and the change of my diet my pinch nerve is gone. This place is so relaxing, every staff member is so welcoming and nice and the massages are out of this world. I have a membership with them and enjoy every aspect of IMR. I've been coming here for years now, even before IMR opened when Elliott (Owner) was at Pearl MedSpa and shortly opened IMR Massage. I've had deep tissue massages at several other places, but I drive half an hour away to IMR Massage because specifically Elliott (when he was a massage therapist), Leah and Ana are the best at deep tissue massages. The quality of massages with my preferred massage therapists is not the issue. While IMR Massage started small and has now expanded, the business has changed, which is understandable. Prices have increased. I had a membership a couple of years ago where a 60 minute was $70, but non-members were $80. Now that I don't have a membership, a 60 minute is costing me $90. Still better than strip prices, but still disappointed at the price increase. Also the switch to the new system (Zenoti) is not user friendly. When you try to click on the link, sometimes I get the notification that the system is not currently supported by the browser I'm using, but it takes a few tries to get to it. The old system (JaneApp) showed the massage therapist by first and last name, their profile, and background, which is great. The new system does not show that. As I stated above, Ana is one of my preferred massage therapists, so I tried booking her under their new system. The new system only lists the therapists by first name only. There was only one Anna listed, so I booked under her, assuming it was the Ana I originally see when it wasn't. So I didn't get the massage therapist I saw regularly by mistake, plus the increase of price was disappointing. read more

I have been very hesitant about getting massages since my last few have always either been disappointing, painful, or underwhelming. IMR was recommended to me by a friend though so I decided to give it a try and I am sure glad that I did! I just booked a deep tissue massage with the first female masseuse that was available and to my delight I got Crystal. She was very professional, listened to what I had to say about my problem areas and areas of concern, was quite throughout unless I engaged in conversation, and overall gave the best massage I have ever had. I got a 90 minute deep tissue massage and Crystal worked the entire time! She did not stop early or take breaks throughout like some I have gotten in the past. Now, because it was deep tissue, it was not a necessarily relaxing experience but it was definitely therapeutic and exactly what I needed. I came out completely refreshed and feeling better than I had in awhile. Crystal advised me that I would feel sore (akin to working out hard) for the next day or two and she was right about that. Following that soreness though, I felt fit as a fiddle. It was a bit pricey at about $115 for 90 minutes though that did come with a "first time client discount". To me though it was completely worth it. I love that I now have a massage spot that I can be confident in. I've been a member here for 5+ years and decided now would be a good time to write a review. IMR Massage is amazing. It's the only place in Las Vegas where it doesn't matter what therapist you get, each and every single one of them is talented. Not only are they good, but they also listen. What I mean by that is if you come in like I do with back pain and want to focus on that, your massage therapist will spend the entire session on that one area. Other places would massage my back for 5 minutes and then move to my legs for half an hour which never made sense to me. The front desk is super nice and helpful. Always patient and accommodating with any scheduling requests. Each room is spacious and clean. We frequent the couples room a lot and comparing it to other places, I feel like the one at IMR is a perfect size. Other places feel a bit cramped with 4 people and you don't find that relaxing vibe. The masseuses would be bumping into each other or you can hear how loudly your partner is snoring during her massage... I really recommend IMR if you are looking for a new massage place or looking to treat a particular injury. Your therapists here will listen to you and treat the area in pain. Depending on what they are trained in, they will go above and beyond and recommend different types of massages or the use of other techniques like stretching or instruments to assist in taking care of any injured areas. read more

I found this place on Yelp and we came here on Valentine's day morning to get a couples massage by Luna Ana and Matt. NOW GUYS..... when I tell you that I went into another dimension during the massage... I really mean it. I've gotten plenty of massages before but nothing like this before. Matt did so good and relieved all the knots, aches, and pains I had in my back. I don't like my massages super soft or rough and Matt found the right sweet spot for me. I got a full body massage but Matt put a little more focus on my back. I have horrible posture and get constant aches in my back which is what I told him right before the massage. I seriously left the place feeling so rejuvenated and like I had a brand new spankin back. My bf couldn't stop talking about "doing this every month" so I'm sure Luna Ana was just as amazing as Matt! Also, the place was nicely kept with very minimal decor which made the place feel extremely clean but also welcoming. And to add to that, i've been going to see Roxanne for about 6 of those years. I can't say enough amazing things about IMR, as a business. The customer service, the training of each new therapist, the value and quality of the services, the calming and inviting space. I love IMR and recommend to anyone that will listen to me. And Roxanne... She is a POWERHOUSE when it comes to deep tissue. She's amazing at her craft and takes pride in it. She is small but mighty; if you wanna feel the good pain - she's got it. I suffer from chronic migraines and the day I went in for my appointment I had a migraine attack and just had no relief with my usual remedies. I figured why not try a massage (since I was way over due for one and cupping since I've always wanted to give it a try). My husband had called to see if they had a same day appointment available and thankfully they did! I went in and the receptionist was welcoming and greeted me right away. She got me checked in and only waited for a couple of minutes before I got called to the back. My appointment was set for an hour with Cassandra. She was totally awesome and loved that she walked me through everything she was going to do and made sure that I was comfortable. It was my first time doing the cupping treatment and it definitely won't be my last. Cassandra focused on the areas (mainly my back and shoulders) that had a lot of tension and it was exactly what I needed! Very disappointed with how they run the business. I have received an IMR gift card from a friend with a cash value to be redeemed at IMR facility. When I called to purchase their massage services package, they said that the gift card cannot be applied to redeem it that way. It can only be redeemed for individual services. This is senseless. This is IMR gift card - it makes no sense that it cannot be redeemed for special packages. I've been going to this place for years and will not be back. I have been a VIP member for IMR for a few years now.. needless to say this review is far overdue. I am so happy that I found IMR Massage; it is the only place I will go for massages. The entire establishment is ran great, from the environment, to the front staff, managers, and massage therapists. I have been to a number of therapists and they all are great with different approaches that allow for anyone to find just what they're looking for. I am into fitness, working out 5x a week, so I really enjoy sports massages. I would highly recommend Aaliyah, Roxanne, and Nadia. I most recently was massaged by Aaliyah and it was amazing; she is very skilled, intuitive and effective. I appreciate that Aaliyah has a strong desire to work and resolve issues. I have always received good massages at IMR, but my session last night with Katelyn was exceptional! Easily the most therapeutic massage I've had in years. She clearly has a deep understanding of how the body's systems and muscles are connected, and asked questions during the session to customize my therapy even more. Everything she did was thoughtful and intentional, and she came back to a few especially tight muscles to make sure that they had relaxed. Nothing that I requested help with was missed, and she used a few techniques that were new to me and very effective. My body and mood felt completely different walking out of my session last night. The high reviews from IMR piqued my interest. I visited their website to do a little research and scheduled an appointment online. I think their online scheduling system is organized and user-friendly; the process was simple and straightforward. My visit was about a couple of weeks ago. Let's start with the good... The facility is clean, well-decorated and gives off a relaxing vibe. They offer infused water and tea in the waiting area. When I used their restroom, I saw that they had a shower with robes, towels and wash cloths. Treatment rooms are spacious. My room had an air purifier and oil diffuser. The lighting was fixed on a dim setting and the music was pleasant and tranquil. Based on his background and glowing reviews, I chose to schedule an appointment with Matt. He is amazing-- an extremely skilled and knowledgeable massage therapist. I read his background on the website and was impressed with his training. He was personable and genuinely interested in my reasons for acquiring massage therapy. He listened and made adjustments to treat my specific problem areas. He used deep pressure, based on my request, and did not hold back. His pressure remained the same throughout the entire session. At other places, some massage therapists appear 'weaker' as the session gets closer to the 60 or 90 minute mark - not Matt! Areas of improvement: Front desk employee's customer service and organization skills. I was greeted when I walked in with a rushed, "Hi!" When I introduced myself, she responded with a short, "I know." Then asked me if I needed to use the restroom. As I walked back to the front (after my session) to pay, I inquired about their membership program. I wanted to compare it to the one I already have with another company. She did not explain it - she said that she would email me. Really? Wow! The place was completely empty. That's not the worse part...I never got an email. I've done consulting before and it's so sad when business owners don't realize how their employees behave when no one is looking. The front desk position is an extremely vital part of the business. The person you hire is the 'face' of your company. They have the first and last encounters with your clients; therefore, their customer service skills should be solid. 5 stars for Matt and his superb skills, but 2 stars for the front desk (I don't want to ruin IMR's high rating so gave them a 4). Her interactions and customer service skills are below average. The pricing is a little above average, so I expected better. I still would come back because of Matt, but I hope that IMR can train their employees to be more hospitable. How many more memberships are slipping through the cracks because your employee didn't care to follow up or explain the program? Overall, I still think this is a great business. For my first massage, Zeyda was the best person I could've asked for. Though it was a last minute decision, I could not have been happier! She was absolutely the sweetest. I told her medium firm pressure, and she delivered wonderfully. Throughout the massage, she made sure to ask if I was doing alright and warned me ahead of time what she would be doing. Since stepping into the room, he asked if I wanted a full body massage versus concentrated areas where my pain was. He also asked about pressure, bed warmer, and if I was ticklish versus sore in those tender spots. I wanted a deep tissue massage and not only did Eric apply pressure the entire time, but Eric found some knots in my lower back and pectorals that I wasn't aware of. He was knowledgeable and talked about the muscle, it's attachments, and also explained some stretches I can do at home for some self relief. My hour massage was well worth it and did not feel rushed. Walking out of IMR, I could tell my back and neck were much more loose and there was more movement. Accomplishing all that in 1 hour was much more than I expected. Ok besides the massage, I was impressed by so many things. The girls at the reception desk were welcoming and all smiles. The paperwork is all filled out on an iPad, which was easy to use. The waiting area has a couple of small couches and a bar table with stools so there's plenty of room and open space. I also saw full size bathrooms with complete showers and other services like facials, couple's massage, and cupping are also offered. Also, this place is HUGE. There's so many private rooms. I went through yelp and was sent to their phone bank so I called.... so as a new person goiNg to this location be aware they will REQUIRE YOU to give them a CREDIT CARD number over the phone to make an appointment. I AM OUT! So the business owner reached out and stated the collection of a credit card "is an industry standard" for their cancelation policy. As an acupuncturist and former massage therapist myself, I recommend IMR massage on Eastern to my patients more than any other bodywork establishment. I do this because I know my patients will have a good experience because IMR hires GREAT therapists. Over the years I learned I can book with whoever is available because the quality of therapists here is high. The massage therapists are highly professional, strong, attentive, but most of all they listen to my feedback in terms of pressure. They also appear to have good longevity as I have noted the same names over the years. The atmosphere is happy and positive. I'm about 6 months pregnant and my body had been aching, sore, and under so much stress. I did the 90 minute prenatal massage with Maria and wow, what an amazing experience. She asked me what areas of the body I needed the most help with and was very attentive with my needs. This is my first ever professional massage so I was a bit nervous to have a stranger give me a massage haha. She made sure that I was comfortable and always made sure that I wasn't in any discomfort. Went in for a full body deep tissue massage and I believe I had Leslie. told her about me always having tension in my shoulders and that my lower back was bothering me. While she was working on my back she asked if I wanted her to just keep working on it. I agreed, it felt so good that I didn't care about the rest of my body.
