The atmosphere was pleasant. The bread was a little too dry on the grilled cheese. The lemonade was good.

Unique! Hidden gem! Variety of different menu options and prices. Food is 10/10. Nice environment and the staff was friendly. Filet minion was perfect, chicken sandwich was great and the kids strips were good!

Updating review nearly a year later and it's not how it was when it first opened. I used to love this place when it opened. But Price increases had exceeded the consistency and experience being delivered. $16 for a cocktail, $9 for a canned cocktail and $20 for a hamburger is high. Charging that much for a cocktail, it should be consistently flawless and what you get depends heavily on who's working or if they're even paying attention. I've watched my drinks sit for over a minute after shaken for the same amount of time while servers chit chat, and get served a watered down $16 drink. Next time you're there ask yourself, is this a $16 margarita?Happy hour is not worth it unless you want beer and wine because the well being used is so bad it pushes the upsell on its own and not much to choose from with appetizers. I went there with a friend during happy hour, spent $100 before tip, and didn't even order an entree. I'd choose Press as a last resort, but there are other places to spend money where you get much more value for the cost you just need to leave Aledo. I understand inflation, sure but did a margarita really require less to produce 3 years ago? Bottom line, if we're expected to spend more then we should expect more as consumers. Overpriced for what it is.

I'm a fan of FAR hospitality restaurants, they always have good food and service and Press in Aledo is no exception. It's busy and I waited several months after opening to go there and it was still jam packed. We started with the Parmesan truffle fries which are served with ketchup, bbq sauce, and aioli. I tried all 3 dips and all were great. For my entree, I got the chicken sandwich. It's lightly breaded and crispy. Very tasty, served on a nice bun (probably homemade) cheese, tomato, and a house made slaw. It's delicious. Wife got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Grilled cheese made with several different cheeses and tomato soup is topped off with a balsamic drizzle. This place is a bit on the pricey side. In addition to truffle fry app, chicken sandwich, grilled cheese& tomato soup entree, we had two kids meals and waters to drink, it was $83 before tip. But overall, it's a great addition to Aledo. Might want to make a reservation.

I wanted to try something different for brunch stumbled upon this place in aledo. I am so glad we went, the burger was to die for and I feel like the chips were homemade. The chicken pot pie was so creamy and little biscuits on top were so crunchy and delicious. My daughter loved the butter noodles we make that at home and I haven't seen another restaurant do this yet. This was a plus. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants an amazing meal.

Consistently good. My go to place for a meal high quality in the area. Solid ambiance and service that is consistent without being pretentious

We were told the wait list was 15 minutes and that is exactly the amount of time we had to wait. An honest wait list is always appreciated. We had the Combo with pancakes, Crab Cake Benedict with grits, a single Biscoff crepe, Endless hot coffee, and a cold brew. The food is fresh, plentiful and well cooked. I have no complaints on the delicious food. The only not so tasty thing was the coffee. We like strong, bold brews. The regular hot coffee was decent, but the cold brew tastes like iced coffee and not cold brew. This won't stop us from heading back because the food was great. Our server was delightful. Actually, all employees we interacted with were awesome considering how very busy the restaurant was. There was not one empty table the entire time we dined. Employees were friendly and helpful. There is currently some type of construction going on in the front of the restaurant, but since they are located in strip shopping center, this does not affect parking. They also have lunch items on the menu, so I'll try one of those next time.

While, we've had some issues with poor service I've never written a negative review because we like their food and it's 4 minutes from home. This review goes directly to the manager/owner, who asked me to leave when I told him I didn't agree with the stores policy regarding seating. When I arrived at Sunny Street the restaurant was about half full and no one was waiting. My husband was in the car finishing a phone call. I was asked to have a seat while we waited for him. I did. During the 5-7 minutes I was waiting 2 groups came in and were seated. The manager/owner walked up to the hostess stand and asked why I was waiting. He was told by the waitress that I was waiting for my husband who was in the car on the phone. Since there wasn't anyone else waiting I asked if I could be seated. He told me that it was against policy because my husband had not come inside yet. I told him that while I understood the policy I was hoping he would let me go ahead and be seated since no one was waiting. He became agitated and gruffly told me that he could not make exceptions. I told him again that while I understood the policy I was hoping he would be kind enough to let me be seated since no one was waiting and that my husband would be off his phone call any minute. He then became aggressive and told me to leave. I told him I was hungry and didn't want to leave. He repeated himself again in an even more aggressive voice and said, "I want you to leave now!" As I turned to leave, I thought twice about the way I was being treated. The following week, my husband and I were eating at another nearby restaurant and the waitress recognized us. We also recognized her as a Sunny Street employee. Because she is such a kind and cheerful individual we shared our story with her about the manager. She apologized on his behalf. She then went onto share that he was known by the employees as a grumpy old man. She then went on to say that "grumpy old man" was the nicest thing any of the employees had to say about him. How sad that the employees feel this way about him.

You can sit outside and enjoy the scenery while watching people walking, running, and riding their bikes along the trails. It's the perfect spot to grab breakfast after a workout! Parking can be a little difficult to find since so many people come to the area to exercise, but honestly, that's a small downside compared to everything else this place has to offer.
