We typically go to the originally Weatherford location but since they close at 4 and we knew we would be cutting it super close to closing time, we chose this Aledo location instead. They are open until 7 during the week which makes it much easier to get there. We ordered pints of chicken salad because honestly, it's the best item on their menu. March was Ruben sandwich month and since their sign was still up, I asked if it was still an option, which it was. I did not get a chance to try it and I love Ruben sandwiches, so I ordered one along with a loaf of the sourdough bread and pecan cobbler because my Mom loves their cobbler. The Ruben was ok; I would have preferred more sauerkraut. The restaurant location is right across a school and on a main roadway. Timing the time you visit this location is key if you are in a hurry. Avoid school dismissal and potentially "rush" hours. Right now the northbound lanes close to the highway are reduced to a single lane during construction so commute in this direction is extremely time consuming if you aren't careful. The restaurant is never crowded and has an open seating floor plan so if you want to sit and enjoy a quiet lunch or early light dinner, this might be the perfect spot. Anytime I have gone to this location I have regretted it. When they mess up they blame the customer. When they hand the order to the wrong person they blame the customer. They refuse to remake the order. Will not go there again. Stick with Weatherford until this location can learn some humility and customer service. read more

The bread is good, but sweet. I'm writing this because the bacon in the BLT was tiny (1/4 to 1/3 inch) squares on chopped bacon. I've never experienced such a thing. If bacon is too expensive, they should either take the sandwich off the menu, or raise the price. read more

I ordered a half chicken salad sandwich on toasted wheat.......$3.99 I open my sandwich to eat and immediately noticed it was not toasted and the bread did not look like the wheat I remember getting before also noticed the bread was completely falling apart, a good portion little less than half fell to the floor....what is left is the part I bit into and it was horrible because of whatever they put the delicious chicken salad on .....dry falling all over me the table, the floor and anywhere else it could land......I called to let them know that the sandwich I ordered I did not get, I thought it was possibly on "Gluten Free" Bread?? Putting 5 stars too lower my "Karen" count, but I was disappointed to see some of the staff wear their mask off of their nose and mouth. The girl who brought me my sandwich wore a mask endorsing her presidential candidate under a chin. It would honestly be better not to wear one at all if you're not wearing one correctly. I get that masks aren't fun, but it's reassuring to see a restaurant comply with health regulations. Personally, I'd love to take a break from the politics for a second and buy a sandwich. So maybe this shop isn't for me. However, I want to see small businesses succeed. The sandwich was great. The staff stayed busy. I probably am not the ideal customer, but may I suggest the Turkey, Ham, & Bacon with Jalepeno bread? It's very good. read more

Came across this place while working in the area, was glad I tried it. The jalapeño sourdough bread was super fresh and moist, it definitely made my sandwich. Place has a nice homey feel to it, service was quick and friendly. I will definitely come back and try the other sandwiches in the menu, oh and the pasta salad was pretty good too. Only complain is that when I asked for avocado in my sandwich, I was served store bought guacamole, which was dark. Guys is not that hard to smash some real avocados made to order. Yesterdays was one of the first places we tried when we moved to Aledo and it didn't disappoint. Everything is good, fresh and with great service. It's one of the few spots that we take family and friends when their in town. Don't forget to get a loaf of bread, or get a cinnamon roll when you can! read more
