My favorite experience involved a pesky mouse problem we had in our kitchen...a lesser exterminator probably would have just kept putting down more traps and more poison. BioTech explained that you can and should seal off your kitchen so there are no holes large enough for a mouse to enter. They did this, but we kept seeing the mouse. They kept coming back (probably 5-6 times) at no extra charge, each time searching and finding an additional entry point. Eventually, they got them all, and we've never had a mouse since! It's extremely frustrating to pay $500 for an incomplete service that only took the technician 40 minutes and did not get the job done. Subsequently, I persistently called, left voicemails and emailed for 2 weeks letting them know of my issue and they kept giving me the run around. It's unfortunate because they were so quick to get me scheduled to take my money but when I told them they obviously didn't do the job I paid for, they have been completely ghost. Because of the nature of the situation and the health hazard, I had to call another company to fix the faulty job they did. The new company is excellent, great customer service and I will recommend them to everyone with any similar issues as well as my HOA because we have wildlife issues is my neighborhood quite often. Companies like Jesse James do not care about customers... customers who work hard NOT to throw away money! It was an incredibly traumatic experience that ended with us throwing a lot of stuff away, spending hours and hundreds on drying clothes/replacing bedding/etc. When we were done with our first two treatments with a different company, we had Highland come back in for an Aprehend preventative treatment and before we moved we had Julia and Raven (her BB pup) come in for an inspection. We also had highland pretreat our new house and furniture with Aprehend before we unpacked from the old apartment. Every single person we worked with was kind, professional, and understanding. My biggest thanks go out to Julia and Raven, but also to Deirdre and Nicole in the main office. Since the bed bugs I have been diagnosed with PTSD, which means I am now constantly on alert for anything suspicious. Strange stains, weird looking bugs, etc. They could have been making TONS of money off of me. Instead, they will inspect photos, explain why what is in the photo is most likely not bed bug related and offer an inspection if we would like one, but never pressure us if they believe there is is not a problem. It's like having a trained friend to tell you that everything will be ok. I know I can trust them and they will be out in a second to treat if they ever see anything suspicious, but they will never try to exploit the fact that I always assume the worst.

Thanks to his consistency, things are under control. He's helped us with everything from mice and roaches to ants and even a surprise adolescent rat. He's super thorough--checks behind all the appliances, seals up holes behind molding we didn't even notice, and always explains what he's doing. He can quickly identify any pest we find and gives helpful tips to keep them from coming back. DWS rescheduled for the next day and began to help me solve my problem. Once DWS began the work, they stayed in constant contact to let me know of their progress. My problem was resolved quickly and humanely. Further, their pricing was lower than that of others' projected work. Then proceeds to take a look for 5 minutes in my finished basement and does nothing in terms of patching or any other solution. Doesn't bother to look again at the exact spot the snake previously was. When asked if there are the possibilities for others was summarily dismissed. He chose not to inspect the upstairs for penetration points or the attic if other snakes would be present. We proceed outside, points out a very obvious hole between the brick and a joint for the deck. Then walks around points out the possibility of entering where wires from the AC unit run, but does nothing to address. Walks around and gets "distracted" by fruit trees 50 ft away from the house and says "yeah i get distracted easy" Then proceeds to tell me to patch the hole and to call him back if anything enters. All of this in under 20 min. Went with him based on yelp reviews but did not get anywhere near value for a inspection/setup fee.
