Never lived anywhere with bug issues and 12 1/2 bug free years as an owner at the Montebello Condominiums, Alexandria, VA until our HOA switched from our previous great extermination company to All American Pest Control in Falls Church. 16 months of owners fighting rats, ticks, fleas, mites, and other critters living on the rats in our trash rooms. I pay $1069 a month in condo fees, fighting mites, and difficult to live in my first home. $8,000 for different exterminators plus all the medical issues from being attacked. Over 200 owners and we hired a local law firm and going to Seven on Your Side to get our horrific living conditions out in the public domain. We are all worried about prospective owners buying into this mess. Any ideas? We are desperate. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There is no guarantee in their works, the owner just wants to keep charging you. The infestation came back just a little over 30 days, the owner wanted to charge me to come back even though I signed up for their quarterly extermination services. I would expect there will be some guarantee in between services. I understand if it's just one time service and they want to be compensated to come back....anyway I would stay away from this company!! For anyone who is reading this, I normally do not leave negative reviews unless I'm very dissatisfied with the services. You probably know there is a reason why people leave bad reviews. In my perspective, the owner didn't complete his initial job. As you can see below, the owner is not willing to work with you to make it right when the customer is not satisfied with his service. I would say this is bad customer service!! Also to give you more context, the owner didn't do a good job inspecting the house initially. There was an area that he missed and didn't treat, later we found out this was the area the ants were coming from. When we called him, I was not asking for a retreatment, we were only asking him to come back to spot treat the area he missed initially. Which he told us he wouldn't come out if we don't pay him $65. Do you think it is fair to ask for more compensation to complete the initial job? When I already paid a high upfront cost $175 for the initial treatment. read more

He quickly confirmed that they were indeed carpenter ants. He inspected the porch immediately, calmed our anxieties, and came up with a plan to use non-toxic baits and insecticides to address the problem. He explained his recommendations thoroughly, their likeliness of success, and avoided over-selling. So I didn't actually purchase their services - I called in on a recommendation from a friend, and they responded quickly. When I told them that my house was in a location a bit too far out of their service range, they quickly told me that although it was possible, I would be better off looking locally, and that they didn't want to waste my time. We have used them twice now (at two different houses, for two different infestations) and have been very happy with them both times. They were very good in describing what they would do and how they would do it--they even dug up the product information for us to review when we asked about the toxicity of one of their products. They were really great - called me back first thing Monday morning after I left a message over the weekend, came out that week to remove some mitre bees from our front yard. Jim - the owner - called me personally and came out to treat the bees. He explained everything he was gonna do and how much it would cost. Really thought his service was excellent and reasonably priced. High recommend them! read more

DO NOT use American Pest Control. We found bed bugs in one of the bedrooms in our home. We removed the bed and called APC. They sent in an inspector/k9 for an inspection - from which they told us that they had no detected anything (this was $300 for 30 min of work). The room occupant purchased a new bed and within two weeks, noticed another infestation. Now I acknowledge that no reputable company will say they can eradicate the problem with 100% certainty - so that is not the point. The point is we called to let them know and they offered NOTHING in return. No free/discounted re-inspection..or anything. If this had been months later, I would not expect one..but TWO WEEKS?! ...a crime. This place should be ashamed. I advise all customers to use a more reputable pest control service. read more

TRUST ME DON'T EVER USE THIS CO. WORST COMPANY EVER !!! WHAT A JOKE!!! I am not a hater just got tired of this Co wasting my time. I think they just like to visit and charge you or charge the Apartments. Because Heaven knows what kind of treatment they are using it is NOT WORKING AT ALL. This is a joker Co. I have them a couple of times treated my apartment for roach cauz I can't stand them......the guy who came to treat the Apartment was drunk that you can smell it. In additions whatever treatments they were using was NOT WORKING AT ALL because as soon as the guy left we saw roaches walking and didn't seem to be affected by it at all. I keep on mentioning this to the guy and he keep on saying that it is going to take some time for treatment will work....Nothing. After a couple of days the roaches were still there and as per his recommendation we got a second round treatment. STILL NOTHING!!!! I keep my apartment very very clean. The guys try to blame it in the neighbors saying that they might come from there but if you treat the whole building how come we still have roaches?? Even if as per his recommendations we got a second time treatment. I think they just don't care and want to get paid every time they come and visit. I wish there is a Company that they can check what kind of treatment they use. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME!!! read more

I have been a customer of All American for nearly a decade and have never had any problem whatsoever. I very rarely ever have a need to contact the company but when I do Jason is very responsive an seems to understand the concepts of customer service. Today was the first time in nearly ten years that I had a poor response from the company from "Nancy," I simply called and wanted Jason to call me back she insisted that I talk to her since she was his wife and then when I tried to ask to have him call me back because I know him and I am familiar with him she became rude and unfriendly. When I asked why she would treat a long time customer that way she responded in a very condescending way, "well I am sorry you feel that way." It was so dismissive and unnecessary, all I wanted was for Jason to return the call at his convenience. It was a very disappointing interaction especially given the excellent track record that the company had with me. read more
