I was in the process of ordering online a plant from them, and chose a certain level among the three levels of that particular item which were specifically offered. These folks made a custom arrangement for me. It was expensive ($80 or so.). It looked like a grocery store $14.99 arrangement. The arrangement was in their catalog and stated the size of the arrangement. What I got was less than half the size listed. I complained; they apologize and gave me another arrangement. I thought okay & used them again. Big mistake - same cheapo arrangement. Plus they used inexpensive flowers. It seems like these folks are in the business of delivering far LESS than you expect. Big prices - small arrangements. Find a reputable florist. read more

Ordered flowers five days in advance to be delivered to my wife on Valentine's Day. The flowers were not delivered, and we received no call. The next day I called for an explanation. The person answering the 800 number said they'd check on the situation and call back. Called back with the excuse of "Oh, we placed the order with someone named Rose, and she remembers taking the order, but no hard copy can be found. So yes, we can verify that your flowers were not delivered." Really? You've GOT to be kidding. Beyond horrible. It's the most important day of the year for flower delivery. This weekend my son had his prom and I ordered a bouquet for his date. I was extremely disappointed with the flower quality and the general plain arrangement. For $60 you would think the flowers would be fresh and would not have brown edges. I was just sad when they handed it me. I had to go to Dr. Delphinium in Richardson so they could remake the whole thing on the spot. Thankfully they did a great job and saved the day! I ordered online from In Bloom Flowers because they had good reviews but also because they offered sympathy flowers that did not look like typical funeral flowers. When we arrived at the funeral home, the family had put the flowers on a display table full of photos at the entrance. They were beautiful! I have ordered flowers from In Bloom's Plano location many times for my wife. They deliver to her work and she is always so impressed with how great the bouquets look. I just ordered two dozen roses from them for our 20th Anniversary and they were absolutely incredible! The biggest, longest stem roses I have ever seen in my life! My wife said they were the talk of the office and literally everyone at her work came by to see them. They all said they had never seen anything like them. I was especially amazed that they were that large and impressive for the amount I paid for them. I expected some basic red long stem roses. We wanted an extra special bouquet for a Red Hat sister who was having a difficult surgery. I wanted a florist close to the hospital and didn't want to order a standard online arrangement. Based on photos, Liz and I discussed what I wanted in the way of a "wow" factor incorporating our Red Hat colors of red, purple, and white. The arrangement was absolutely magnificent!! I placed an order for valentines day to be sent to my mom. the arrangement looked beautiful on the web. When mom got them they roses were wilted on the end of the pedals. The arrangement looked colorful on the web, and ended up looking so sad in person. Next time I'll go myself to pick them up at the one on Frankford, the ladies there are so sweet and love what they do. I needed some flowers for my wedding and the gentleman at the desk (owner maybe?) was so very helpful with picking out what I needed and how much to all work under budget. I was very pleased with the flowers and was amazed by how long they lasted. He even gave me a few hints on how to help the gladiolus bloom more and how to best hang them for better presentation durning the ceremony. I walked in and confessed I had no much experience buying flowers from a flower store as such and needed a good rose bouquet for my wife. One of the three ladies present there walks me to the cooler and showed some roses they had and I agreed to the long stemmed one's and I requested she make a bouquet of 18 stems and asked her to use some filler with the stems. Got out and picked a card to go with it and I come back to pay - more that a $100 bill ?....I gulped and agreed thinking I'll get full value for the price I'm paying. But when it was done and brought to me, guess what? an awful job for the price paid. Totally disappointing. The roses weren't very fresh, and to make things worse, she added a filler which had some weird purple flowers (to go with red roses !!!!) and it was withering. I was kicking myself as I drove back for not having asked them do it over again and right for me. Had bought some roses and a bunch of lilies from Kroger a few weeks back and the lady there helped make an awesome bunch for less than $25, much better that what I was now holding. A total ripoff. NEVER going back to this store !!! read more

Absolutely would not recommend this florist. Wish I would have read all the negative reviews before placing my three orders. Spent approx.. $457.00 on two Mother's Day floral arrangements (Awesome Blossoms and Lovely Whimsy) and one floral arrangement for a funeral to be delivered overseas for the family of my mother's life long childhood friend who had just pasted away. My order's were placed in person and a week in advance, Shannon, the store Manager assisted me. The funeral arrangement flowers were to be delivered on Thur. May 4th and just to be clear and fair this was my overseas order. The two Mother's Day arrangements were to be delivered on Friday, 12th to beat any last minute rush for this busy day. Only one order was delivered on time and it was to an address out of state but within the USA. That was one of the arrangements ordered for Mother's Day. The other order which was for an address in Texas was not delivered on the day promised and we received a call from the florist a day after this arrangement was supposed to be delivered that an additional fee was required for delivery to a rural area in Brenham, TX. According to In Blooms flyer the arrangement I ordered was priced at $69.65. The charge to my credit card for just the arrangement going to Brenham, TX was $111.39. What a rip off!!! The flowers ordered to be delivered to the home of my mother's dear friend who had just passed away were never delivered. The In Bloom store contacted me May 13th indicating their difficulty making the overseas order which now was 9 days late. For placing my three pricy orders I received 2 stamped In Bloom frequent Bloomer Cards but Shannon told me they could only be used for a discount on a local delivery, meaning Plano, TX only. Apparently, this flower shop can't handle advanced orders or those requiring overseas delivery. Please read all their reviews before choosing this business. I will definitely be using someone different in the future. Very disappointed!!! read more
