An "In Bloom" delivery person asked me to accept a neighbor's flowers as the neighbor was out of the house last weekend. The In Bloom delivery person gave me a "coupon" for a "free bouquet" because I was being "a good neighbor" to help accept the flowers and told me to call to get the flowers. Since I was having people over tomorrow, I thought it would be a good time to get some flowers. I sent my husband to In Bloom in Plano with the coupon. The associate at the counter didn't know what the coupon was all about so he asked the supervisor for help. The supervisor said it was a single rose even though the coupon said "floral bouquet". Bouquet definition (Oxford): an attractively arranged bunch of flowers, especially one presented as a gift. It sure seems like a floral "bait and switch". I ordered a deluxe sympathy arrangement which was described as a "Peaceful White Lilies Basket" What was delivered was a bunch of white carnations with a couple white roses for $113.00. A true rip off by In Blooms Plano. I would suggest IF you order from them, have the receipent send you a picture of what was delivered - you may be as disappointed as I was. read more

This review is for the staff who helped my husband put something special together for our anniversary. First off thank you! I loved the matching Corsage and boutonniere. The black & silver ribbons were perfect! And although he thought the flower color was going to be darker, to his surprise it matched perfectly with the pink pearl necklace I had just purchased to go with my new dress. I got so many compliments on the flowers. He called ahead to get the flowers and the staff went above and beyond to help a guy out. They used their skill and knowledge to put together 2 arrangements that really made me smile. He bragged non stop about how friendly yall were and how helpful the main person helping him was. He didnt get her name, or I would mention her here. So basically this is our flower shop now. I wont go anywhere else because of the the service alone. The flowers stood up to me wearing them all night and even to my 3 year old son getting rough and grabbing them. Still didnt ruin them. Stopped in today to get some fresh cut flowers for my mom. I ended up getting a dozen very small yellow roses, no vase, nothing else just 12 roses. The service was great and the shop was very nice. My rating is based totally on price. Over $40 !! I should have asked prior to purchasing and on second thought I should have just said no thank and gone somewhere else you but I was short on time. Over $40 for 12 small (like Half the size of a yoke in a hard boiled egg) roses wrapped in plastic. Buyer beware, next time I'll stop at the grocery store. Update. After my original post Lori contacted me right away. She was very apologetic and understanding of my disappointment. She offered me an in store credit which I used today.
