These folks have a wide array of organic herbs and are quite knowledgeable about them. The shop is small and has been there for over a decade so appears to be an OB institution. When sifting through the herb section, note that they are organized alphabetically and some different types may be hidden behind others on the same wall peg. What they don't have in the front of the store can likely be found in back or ordered through one of their suppliers. Prices were fair. I was assisted by Jody, and she took plenty of time helping me find what I was looking for, listening to me and generously sharing her expertise. There is a wide selection of essential oils as well, plus books, jewelry and even a pamphlets section with guidance regarding specific substances of interest. I appreciate staff dedication to educating the customer and recommend this store for those seeking herbal remedies. read more

The store has moved to 3685 Voltaire St I know because I went down there and had to call to find out lol. They are now inside costal sage gardening which is open until 5 and has different open days and different stock than the original store had I guess. Sucks now im too late to go in at all I would think updating everything would be important!! This place is so amazing! I was so happy when I first walked in and saw everything. It's a hidden little gem in Ocean Beach. They have a huge selection of beautiful dried herbs. They also have a great selection of teas, herbal Bath & body products, essential oils, beeswax pastilles, coco and shea butter, etc... This place is an herbalist's dream. It is my new favorite spot for picking up supplies for my herbal preparations that I used to have to order online. I am really glad that I can now buy from a local business instead. Definitely stop in here! I came by on a quiet Wednesday before the mayhem of the farmers market began and couldn't even handle how much amazing this little shop had inside. The folks behind the counter were exceptionally helpful- they made some recommendations and I left with two books. They love and take pride in their oils because they're organic, and some brands are made in the county of San Diego. You can't beat that with a stick! They seem to have a vast selection of Herbs and other things as well such as cards gifts jewelry, and awesome things for your alter if you're a Yogi or Yogine. I hope you do park in the Mexican restaurant parking lot and walk in and take a visit. They offer classes and they're closed Tuesday's for herb consults. Enjoy! read more

I love everything about this shop! It smells great (like if your home smelled like this, you would never want to leave)- the owner and the people who work here are all super friendly, and they have the best selection of herbs, tinctures and natural remedies that I have ever seen. Amazing little gem in OB. Tiny store full of magical herbs. They have essential oils, dried herbs, candles, cards, beautiful jewelry, and the staff is super friendly. The lady working there, which I am assuming is the owner was so nice and helpful. She teaches one of the classes which I want to take as soon as its available! I couldnt find a few of the herbs I was looking for but she packaged them up for me in the back, and one of the herbs was on order. She got my number to let me know when it arrives! Even though the prices are a little higher than wholesale place I usually buy from, sometimes you dont need 1 lb of frankincense or 5 lbs of lavender! Don't let the tiny little shop fool you, this place has lots to offer. I picked up some sleepy spray to help me sleep better on those nights where my mind will not stop running, and some herbal tea. The nice lady that works behind the counter really knows her stuff. she is a gem. If you have a problem or are looking for a certain something, just describe it to her and she will find just what you are looking for! also snagged some organic dark chocolate with blueberries and mushroom pieces in it. :) Drop in, and you are bound to learn something new! read more

I've visited the shop twice about two months ago. I found it to be a very reputable, friendly & well organized with very knowledgeable staff. They have quality products. This little hide away off the main strip is super duper. They were incredibly nice to me when I came in and just described what I needed herbs for. So the service was great. I bought a new strainer and some packets of herbs. You can find a cure for anything going on, well almost anything, and if it wont cure you at least it can help. read more

I went in looking for Palm oil after someone told me they usually carry it - well, she did not have it but had some other ideas where I might find some. The lady working was really nice and patient and talked to me about other products (like their essential oils) but was not pushy in her sales.
