Me being from California this is a place that takes me back to my youth. Simple, limited menu but what is there is spot on yum!! These are always busy so be ready to wait a few minutes but for me........totally worth it!! At the end of the day you get burgers and fries. That's it. A shake or soda of some of the best pink lemonaid ever. The burgers are small but I get a 3x3 with cheese off of the 'secret menu'. I love the fresh veggies and the patties are super yum. I like how the fries are hand cut with a potato press all day long. Hard to get more fresh than that. I like in Oklahoma so when in the Dallas area if I'm near one of these I drop in and indulge. I've only come to this location in the drive-thru at lunch which is a very busy time for this location! But I have never had a problem with wait times. Been here at least half a dozen times. What I really like about Inn n out is their consistency for every location you go to. If you come here at the wrong time the line can be crazy and the drive through. Honestly, Texas stop being lazy and get out of your car. Not even going to try to write a review on this place. It's one of those places where either you're religiously obsessed or indifferent or you can't stand it to go against the grain. I'm not native to Texas or California but in my travels I have fallen in love with this chain. I went to this location twice in a day and a half time frame (if that's not love...). I also wanted to be sure the food was consistent ;) The charm of In-N-Out is the limited menu: it's burgers, fries, and milkshakes. If they have the ingredients at their disposal, they'll make it! This leads to their "secret" menu items, such as animal style (their "spread", which is a thousand island dressing, grilled onions, cheese that they can put on a burger and/or fries), monkey style (animal style, but with fries put on a burger), Neapolitan shake (all three milkshake flavors mixed together), and grilled cheese (as it seems, bun with melted cheese). All of their ingredients are fresh and tasty! This was the first time I got to share In-N-Out with my boyfriend and he fell in love as well! The staff here was so friendly and happy to help! We ordered a few cheese/hamburgers and animal style fries. My bf at first was disappointed the onions weren't cooked on his burger so on our second trip we asked to have the onions grilled and they were happy to do so! This will basically make the cheeseburger you order "animal style!" If you are in the area and see an In-N-Out Burger and you love fast food burgers, definitely try it! I have been an in n out fan forever and have been frequenting this Mecca whenever and wherever I can. My kids know that our annual spring break ski trips to Lake Tahoe will always include at least 3 to 4 stops at in n out. Perfect burger whether I get it in Texas or California or Nevada or Arizona. Quality of burger rarely changes from location to location. Neither does the atmosphere or great friendly severs. Can you tell I love this place. So here's the lowdown. Hamburger - greatest burger ever. Granted the meat could be bigger (get a double) but the price quality ratio can not be beat. Shakes - my kids love their shakes. I have never been a fan of shakes in general so tend to stay away. Can't comment on it. Drinks - I love that they have low cal lemonade. I cheat and mix the real with the low cal one. It's sooooo awesome. Plus unlimited refills without feeling guilty about asking for refills. Price - by far the best bang for the buck of any burger places. You can spend 50 to 100% more to get the foo foo burger at those other places but why bother. This is the BEST. No extra charge for customizing. Overall 5 stars For this location - it's somewhat deceptively hidden as this is located few blocks away from the highway (go east on Stacy road). First time going north it took us a while to find it as signage was horrible. It's always busy but always clean n fast. Never had a bad meal there to date. Plus like other in n out it's open late!!!! My first experience with In-N-Out came outside LAX airport on Sepulveda Boulevard in 2008. I was told to get off the plane and find one, so that's exactly what we did. I went on Day 2, parked across the street, and walked for 'dine-in'. I wasn't sitting in my car in a very long line burning $4 a gallon gas. Inside I waited in line maybe 15 minutes, waited 10 more after I ordered, devoured that damn burger in 5. Absolutely worth it. Would I drive another 30-mile round trip burning aforementioned $4 a gallon gas? Probably not. I'll wait until the one on 75 Dallas opens. You've got to compare it to other fast food burger chains - McDonald's, Wendy's, Whataburger, Burger King, etc - and yes, In-N-Out is a better burger. Don't go compare it to some Kobe burger you had at Neiman's, a $15 burger at The Porch, or some exotic meat monstrosity from Tillman's. Not fair. In-N-Out's burgers are about the size of a Big Mac, even the Double-Double. The bun is soft and spongy; the meat tastes fresh and nicely charred; lettuce and tomato and still cold; and the special sauce and cheese perform some alchemy in your mouth and turn to gold. The only "Meh" was the fries. Maybe that's why In-N-Out fries get all dressed up with cheese and sauce: they're limp on their own. So what if they're fried in cholestorol-free and trans fat-free oil if it leaves the fries flacid and gummy, with just bland starch flavor? I miss the ol' McDonald's fries that were fried in 93% beef tallow and 7% cottonseed oil. It's a freakin' French FRY! I can hear myself getting fatter, so while I'm at it, go ahead and make it bad for me all-the-way (and make it awesome). read more

In n out burger has always been one of my favorite places to have a meal. With a simple, but delicious menu, In n out is really just an outstanding burger joint. I had an incident there a couple of days ago. This worker named frank, was very rude to me. He left me waiting at the counter for about ten minutes and he walked away and never came back. I eventually got my food. This nice young man named Eric came and handed it out to me after I asked for his help. That frank boy should not be working at in n out. Double, Double toil and trouble!!! Gotta love the delicious mouth watering double double!!! My family and I came here the other day for lunch and had a very pleasant experience. The place was pretty packed since it was nice out, but we had no problem finding a table to sit at. The gentleman that took our order was very polite and courteous. All the other workers looked like they were having a fun time, which is always nice to see. They do a very good job in keeping the place clean and wiping down all the tables after people vacate them. It took a little bit longer then usual to get our food, but that was expected since it was so busy. I mean how could you not want to come here and eat. I guess everyone else had the same idea as us. Lol. When we got our food it is nice, hot, fresh and very tasty. I can never pass up the double double with the works, it's a must have when i come here. Very basic menu which makes it a simple ordering process. Burger, with cheese or without, one patty or two, fries or not. Can't get any more basic than that, and although the burger was okay I wasn't overly impressed, there wasn't a special flavor to the burger, and both the decor and the food scream diner food. Double-Double and fries is something to dream about and an assurance that any east coast dweller will drive miles when an In-N-Out is with-in range. Counter help friendly and helpful. They were not busy when we arrived and our order took a little more than five minutes to arrive. A minor complaint - seems unamerican to complain about In-N-Out; but customers do a good job of clearing their tables of trays and paper; what we all leave behind are crumbs on the table top and seats. A quick wipe down with a napkin had it handled, but it seems that should be someone's responsibility. By the way, in a lessor place (think McD, KFC, etc) I would expect to wipe down my own table. I always see a long line for the drive thru, but it seems to go by fast. The staff here are very nice and fast in getting orders in and out. And the right way to do these burgers is either as they come or Animal. If you do a burger with ketchup and mustard only or some other equally Spartan combo, you'll missing the taste smack in the mouth.
