Inattentive new staff. Ordered for dine-in, then was given to-go. The major problem with to-go nowadays at Cane's is that they put the absolute minimum amount of fries in the box. The chicken strips have shrunk by 40% in size over the last 2.5 years. So while their prices have not gone up crazily like everybody else, their gross margin definitely has been steadily increasing. I don't recommend Cane's but I still visit once in a while. read more

We have been eating here since we moved to McKinney several years ago. The quality of food has been getting worse. Specially today we ordered 4 fingers in the drive thru around 2:30 pm. The chicken fingers must have been left over from lunch because when we got home , 5 minutes away, the chicken was tough and obviously not freshly cooked. Well, the service was very good. The chicken fingers were bland to say the least, the coating was soggy. Asked for a side order of Texas toast, got home and it was 1 piece of Texas toast? Rip off! Update...met some family and my grandaughter here to savor some of her favorite chicken as a birthday celebration. Turned out unexpectedly great. This is an easy and inexpensive way for a small group to get together for a visit and have some good chicken. I was surprised at how many groups larger than ours started pouring in at 6 pm. I'm talking 8 to 10 people each and guess what...they handled it efficiently and with a smile. In spite of being slammed there was not much of a wait. Our food came out hot,fresh and delicious within 10 minutes of ordering even though there were large groups ahead of us. Now that's the way to get it done. Thanks Canes! I'll Be Back.... First time at this location. We wanted to make a short road trip and had a Cane's gift card. Made sense to come here. We got the usual 3 piece basket, ate some and rest leftovers. Great service. Traffic can be a problem and entrance. Store on northeast corner with entrance on north side of Hwy 380. We had to turn right on 380 and then U-turn to get to parking lot. Small lot and if full park at Applebee's next door. If your arrive along frontage road and turn in you will be stuck in drive-thru lane and going wrong direction to park. read more

Raising Cane's is usually one of my go to fast food places, but no longer with the least the Mckinney locations. The other locations are great however, I probably will never go back to the Mckinney location after stating multiple times. I need my food to go apparently the staff of raising Cane's thinks that I'm going to eat a tailgater 25 piece, chicken, tender, full flat of fries and a jug of sweet tea and lemonade. On my own many people will find this funny however when you are ordering catering for your business and they give it to you all open face and not bagging up and you have to wait an extra couple minutes because they Lack the necessary diligence to think maybe this is it to go order I won't be back. read more

The feel and look of every Raisin' Canes is the same. This on was a fine experience but had a couple less great things then the others we go to and love. First the parking was a mess and totally full. We went around the parking lot twice and there was no parking. It seems like it has quite a bit less parking then the other Raisin Canes. Parking was really only on one side. Maybe 15 spots, and two were reserved for mobile ordering pick up and i think one or two maybe were reserved for handicap, so there were no spots. We ended up parking in the Applebees parking lot next door, which didn't really seem right but we didn't see another way. The other two downsides were that the two available tables hadn't been wiped down which is not that unusual...they were really busy. And finally as can be the case, the chicken strips this time were small. I would say they often vary in size and are obviously real chicken and that is one thing we like about Raisin Canes is that their chicken is not all awkwardly the exact same size and shape, but occasionally you can get all small strips. On the plus side, the lady working at the register was super nice and friendly, and other than the two tables, the store was clean and nice. read more

Compared to other chicken strip places near by; this was just mediocre. The strips seemed a little bit overdone and the coleslaw was not to my liking. Honestly, I went here on impulse as a road trip quick lunch idea without a clue as to what Cane's even served. Yeah, chicken, I know; but only chicken tenders? After obviously having paid NO attention to the entire name of this fast food chain EVER, there I stood. Dumbfounded. No chicken on the bone. None. So, I can tell you that their chicken tenders are pretty good. They should be. It's all they do, people. Fry chicken tenders and put multiple numbers of them in your order. Everything else on their limited menu should always be good, too, and my coleslaw was. Cold, crunchy, creamy yet tangy and for 79 cents, it lasted more than a few bites. Their secret sauce could not be taste explained to me by the cashier. Okay. I can't explain it either; but I wasn't especially enamored of it and tenders need a dipping sauce. Just not that one. Four - five stars on the food, except one star on the sauce. I felt for what it is, the other menu items other than single tenders were overpriced, though. They are bulk ordering tenders and fries and it's a fast food counter service setting. I saw no savings passed onto their fans and customers. Also, at this location and as busy as they are, the zero tolerance parking lot is an accident looking to happen. I wouldn't return for this kind of chicken; but it's not my favorite fried chicken and I don't waste fried chicken calories on chicken tenders. We can still be friends, though, because fried chicken tender lovers, this is your fried chicken tender for sure! read more

It's already pretty pricey which is normally fine but when they start to give you smaller portions for the same increased price, it can be shown off as a little greedy. Even when I asked them to make sure they put it into the bag I got a "yas ma'am" but no sauce. Also the breading was falling off of almost all of our tenders and the portion of fries was terrible! 380 and 75 is the chicken lovers jackpot. Chick fil a and Raising Canes are across the highway from each other! Their menu is about the same premiss as In and Out burger. They serve one thing and serve it well. The chicken strips are perfectly golden fried and served with a heavenly dipping sauce (reminds me of comeback sauce). Your sides are texas toast, fries, or slaw. They do have a chicken strip sandwich that is tasty. If you don't like chicken strips then this is not the place for you. If you have a pooch bring them along in the drive thru, they pass out dog biscuits to your four legged friend. The restaurant is named after the owner's canine. read more
