Place was clean and customer service was nice Now the reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because My friend and I both ordered caniac combos (6 chicken each). We ordered under separate names but they came out at the same time. The problem was his order had 5 tenders and was missing toast and mine had 7 tenders and correct amount of toast. So I gave him my extra tender. Just make sure to count the tenders carefully because this is one of the multiple reviews on here that will mention either too little or too much (preferred) chicken amounts. They gave me one three finger combo that had only two fingers and then the other three finger combo box only had fries. No bread and NO TENDERS?? in the THEEE FINGER COMBO? Just absurd. They also gave me no receipt and had terrible customer service through the drive-thru. I asked for mayo twice and two different employees said okay and still I didn't get it. While at the window two different employees asked me what my order was. Even after all this crazy checking of what they should be giving to me I didn't get near what I paid for. We came to visit Raising Cane's, of course, for some chicken tendies. We ordered a 3 piece chicken tendies that came with fries and texas toast. We found the chicken tendies were small, and a little bit bland but they were cooked well. The Raising Cane's sauce was delicious, but didn't stick out compared to other fast food chicken restaurants. The fries and texas toast were pretty good. The fries were what you expect for crinkle cut fries but needed a little salt. The service overall was ok. The staff was nice but there was nothing that made us feel like the staff went above and beyond. We did not have to wait too long for food either. The restaurant itself including the bathrooms were mostly clean. It was busy while we were there, and would be worth it to go for a late night snack. read more

Canes has no flavor or seasoning. It's really sad. It's all kids who grew up on chicken nuggets. They refuse to make a spicy chicken. They give you the cheapest hot sauces "Louisiana" but not the chicken gets soggy and wet. It's just bleh. Kids had no care for cleanliness. Leaving trash on tables, spilling drinks on the floor. Sucks when people create more work for anyone. FedEx inadvertently dropped off a case of wine at Cane's that should have been shipped to the FedEx Store about 200 yards away. Asst Manager Katelyn (?) opened the box and saw the name of my wife's business on the invoice, looked up her phone number and gave her a call. Having see this was pricey wine it would have been easy for someone to keep this as a FedEx snafu, but I really appreciate not just her honesty but the effort it took to find my wife's phone number! Canes all around meal is one of my favorites for fried chicken. The fries, toast, sauce, & chicken all together are a great combination of flavors that all satisfy. Even though I might prefer other fried chicken by itself, this whole meal is one of the best. The one thing here that to me could go is the coleslaw. It seriously does nothing and is just an addition that is unnecessary in my opinion. The chicken, is breaded really well. Not overly greasy and nice and crispy. The meat is always juicy and tender. If you go early for lunch, around 11, the chicken is freshly made, and amazing! I love their fries, top 5 fries in my book. So golden crispy with soft tender inside, and with the sauce, you just can't get a better flavor combo! The lemonade is a great drink choice, not overly sweet, nice tart lemonade! I dip everything in the sauce, my toast, fries, & chicken, it's just so good! My one issue is they charge you for more sauce, and the one sauce they give is so small. I think they should serve larger portions of sauce, or your first 2 are free, then you get charged. It just bothers me when people nickel and dime for the smallest stuff. I'm not one for chicken tenders usually but I make an exception at Canes. Their chicken is always perfectly battered, crispy and juicy on the inside. Their bread comes out nice and toasty. The night we came in it was packed and close to closing. Staff were friendly and didn't make it feel like everyone needed to hurry and eat so they could leave. We don't eat a lot of fried food, but my wife had never had Raising Cane's and wanted to try it. She loved it, as did I. We used drive-thru and the order taker was pleasant and efficient. The cashier was friendly and the employee who handed over the order was pleasant as well. We definitely think the chicken is better than Chic Filet but the waffle fries at Chic Filet are definitely better than the fries at RC's. Raising Cane's is in the business of selling chicken fingers. Everything else is secondary, and they'll basically tell you that. The fries are frozen crinkle cuts that are only passable when they're still piping hot. Texas toast is quite good, with a nice buttery flavor, grilled to perfection. But come on, it's about the chicken and sauce. This is probably the fourth RC I've been to, and I've had the same quality goods from all. The staff addresses and serves you with a smile, and those chicken fingers are meaty, perfectly breaded and fried to a lovely golden brown. The signature Cane's sauce is a great dipping sauce, and really makes the dish. My advice: Trade in your slaw and fries for extra sauce (they'll do that free of charge), and just jam on the chicken. Cane's chicken was our favorite for the last 15 years and we went there twice a week. I noticed 3 months ago that the chicken and fries tasted strange and hurt my stomach. It happened to my kid and husband, too. I was thinking what was the cause and finally figured it out. OIL!!! That strange bad taste comes from oil. Probably they started to use "cheap" oil to fry their food. Their food tasted fresh and sweet before but tastes stinky and bad right now. I tried to contact the company before that we needed to learn their oil choices but they never answered back. They don't want to share what they use in their restaurant which is very odd when other restaurants share what they use. Also, whenever I go to this location tables are always dirty and we need to ask them to clean those tables to sit. Seems like a bunch of kids trying to work there with no proper knowledge or management. Sadly, We are looking for a new place to eat healthy fried chicken and giving up from CANE's. I can understand that there is inflation and the company already reflected this inflation in their prices and portion sizes. Fresh fried chicken strips look no further, visited the Raising Cane's in Allen about 10pm on a Saturday night and needless to say the fresh chicken keeps on rolling on in. I ordered the box combo with substitute the coleslaw with another of their famous buttery crispy toast and the crinkle cut fries and crispy all white meat chicken strips with their famous canes sauce, made for a filling late night meal. I've been here a few times, one time to dine in and another time through the drive thru. Both times have been pretty solid. I like the fact that Raising Canes has a simple menu, consisting of chicken fingers, fries, cole slaw, toast, and the sandwich for the adventurous. In my opinion, having a simple menu usually results in consistency because of the focus on just a few items as opposed to many items. With that being said, I like getting the 4 piece combo, while my hubby gets the 6 piece combo. Both come with fries, cole slaw, toast, and canes sauce, but the 6 piece comes in a bigger portion and with a second side of canes sauce. Chicken fingers are always so good - fresh, crispy, juicy, delicious. I love the canes sauce; its like a zesty ranch. Maybe it is a mix of thousand island dressing and ranch? I don't know.. But it is so good with both fries and chicken fingers. Dining in was a good experience, but I was pleasantly surprised with my drive thru experience. Love raising cane but I just wish they would be consistent with the quality of their food and not rip us off our money. It's sad bc we just came from church and the last thing I need is disappointment. So we ordered the 3 piece, chicken was not well done and there was hardly any breading which was soggy and not crunchy, it came off by the time we got home, which was 10 min away! The 6 piece chicken was smaller pieces than the 3 piece!!!! Why!!! Shouldn't all the chicken piece be the same size??? We stopped in for dinner at about 7PM. While they were busy, we ordered and got our food within a reasonable amount of time. I would say about 7-8 minutes, tops. Not bad for freshly cooked chicken and fries. I had the 3 Finger Combo and my niece had the kid's meal. The kid's meal come with 2 tenders, fries, drink and an "activity." My to-go order for 2 box combos literally took 10 minutes starting from the moment I ordered at the drive thu intercom to the window where I waited for our order. There was no line. This was not during rush hour or right at closing time. This was last night on Thursday around 9:20-9:30 pm. The order was correct, but during the time I waited, the line grew from myself only to about 5 other vehicles. Truth be told, I wasn't in a hurry and would have been fine had even just a simple and short apology been offered for the unusually long wait, but instead when I was handed my order, the woman just said reached out and said "Here."
