Update: Got really sick after eating here today a few hours ago. My food wasn't even hot which was especially disappointing because they weren't super duper busy like they typically are most days. I am certain this food made me sick because I hadn't eaten since the prior evening and that was just some snacks that I have at work and eat from on a regular basis with no issue. Very disappointing. I had to eat in my car because I couldn't find a seat, even though I was flying solo. Despite the masses of people, the place was still clean. This in n out is in a nice plaza with many different shopping. For some reason even when I came at night with only 3 cars in front of me, service was SLOW. I saw the kids working in there standing and talking and just moving real sloth like also. My burger was made real sloppy as well. I dont particularly like this location bc on Fridays a gang of teenagers like to hang out here and think they are cool doing donuts and just being a complete nuisance. It's crowded with teenagers, noisy and lots of energy. The drive-thru line was LONG. We passed on that. Since it's my first time to IOB, I decided we go in to see what the hype is about. My husband tells me it's an institution so... let see... Went in, long line to put in your order but it moved quite swiftly. My fries came, it's unsalted which I always prefer. The fries were hot but the density is too heavy for me. I know it mentions IOB uses fresh cut potatoes but I did not like how dense it was. Just too carby for me. I still prefer to the light, airy fries from McDonald's - sorry. The burger was ok, you can tell it's freshly put together cos the lettuce was still firm. This I agree is better than McDonald's but I don't order burgers anyway so my opinion doesn't really matter anyway. read more

This location has gone downhill in the last 3-4 months. The last. 3 times we have been they have screwed up the order. The last two they left the grilled onions off my burger and the time before that I thought they had until I found a tiny amount, so small it was practically hidden. And the lettuce and tomato have not been of the same quality as previously. Never had any issues at this location before. Always had great customer service and food and the orders were on point. There times in a row absolutely sub par and messed up the burger. Don't know what's changed but hope they get it fixed. You always know what you're gonna get at INO. I don't get the hype though. The burgers aren't bad, but they aren't incredible. Are they better than the major burger chains in the US? Yes. This is my go to In-N-Out spot. I spend a lot of time in North county whether visiting friends, hitting the golf ranges, or playing pickleball. My go to move after any of these activities is to hit this joint up and get a double-double cheeseburger animal style, extra lettuce, extra tomatoes, extra toasted bun, and a side of French fries. The workers here are very friendly and efficient and have no issues handling my custom burger order. If I'm feeling groovy I'll add in a strawberry shake. Pro-tip: ask for a spoon to consume your shake. It's a lot easier than trying to use the default straw as the shake is very viscous. Note: this location like many others gets very crowded at all hours of the night. I've come anytime between 7 pm and 10 pm and it's pretty crowded inside. Seats open up quick but it can get fairly rowdy with the large volume of high school students that frequent this joint. The taste, nostalgia, and value of In-N-Out cannot be overstated. Every Sunday I always think about In-N-Out, their burgers are just so good. Fries, drinks, and a Double Double, for just $11, I would take that deal any day, and it's not like the portions sizes are small, these burgers are massive, literally as big as my receding hairline. The service is nice and quick, they can get your order within 10 minutes usually. The only bad thing about In-N-Out is the ambience, theres lots of people talking and it's usually packed, but it makes sense for a place with such high quality burgers and good prices, if you really care about the ambience just eat in your car OR come early when its nice and quiet. Overall, I really love this place for its top quality, sizes, and prices. I would definitely come back to this place. Not coming to this place is a sin. You're obligated to eat here. Seemed like the perfect time to try it The staff were all calm kind and helpful He explained the difference of animal style vs cheese fries I appreciated how calm he was although it took me a few minutes to decide what I wanted I ordered the double double protein style (lettuce wrapped) With animal style fries My daughter tried the cheeseburger with animal style fries (no onions) My mother had regular fries with a regular cheeseburger The line grew pretty long as we ordered but the line moved pretty smooth We replaced a drink and added two milkshakes to our order at the window We were nervous they wouldn't let us make any changes since it became pretty busy but they modified the order with ease and a bright smile on their face They asked if we would be dining with them-in the car or not I thought this was an odd question to ask but we noticed the car in front of us received their order open versus in a bag so that must've been why they ask! I love the option to park relax and eat or take it home Overall it was tasty I love how Fresh the veggies tasted especially my juicy lettuce wrap I'm usually not a fan of onion but they blended nicely with the burger ! This is the best In-N-Out I've ever been to the employees are kind get through the lines quickly and are young which means that the In-N-Out is giving opportunities to the younger generation. No actually though, In N Out (this spot specifically) is cemented into my childhood memory as my happy place, going back to when Borders bookstore still existed in the plaza. It has always been there for me, and has stayed true to itself (quality that you can taste plus relatively cheap prices). People hate on the fries because it could be blander than most fries from other establishments, but just add some more ketchup or their animal style dressing! The double double with fries has been my go-to order for more than a decade now; you can't go wrong with that combo. Check out their not-so-secret menu for more unique options though. The double double is of course two patties but the burger itself is not greasy at all, always fresh. The only complaint is that the time it takes to wait in their drive thru line is absurd; I wish there was an mobile app that you could use to order beforehand.
