Cashier was pleasant & quick with the line. I got my drink & next was to find a clean table as it was super busy & I found one with some crumbs I could wipe off. Note to self: pack handi-wipes purse size for instances like this. I pack them for the train, but never think I have to wipe down at In-N-Out Got my burger & I noticed it started to fall apart. The bun was stated to flake off in big pieces. I immediately thought, "Do they freeze & defrost their buns? Next was the meat. Yah, it's all FAT probably the 70% lean type of meat. After I ate, I had to immediately floss & brush my teeth to remove all the fattiness stuck between my teeth. Yah, that's the first. Yes, one should carry a travel size floss, toothbrush & toothpaste in your purse. You know the little baggie you get from the dentist. You'll thank me later. After eating at Hanford's In-N-Out many many times, I have only good things to say that have been reported over and over in previous reviews by others. But I've been asked by the In-N-Out app to review, so I will report on my most recent visit to Hanford In-N-Out. As my wife and I walked in for lunch, we were immediately greeted by a young lady at the counter with a big smile, a happy face and a cheerful attitude, asking how she could help. We ordered after asking and receiving good answers to a few questions, and took a seat to await our order. My wife had ordered a single with cheese and I ordered a double double lettuce wrapped or as they call it protein style. The food came quickly, and as I moved one sandwich off the tray to place in front of my wife I bumped the straw on my water glass and knocked the whole thing over soaking the table and floor and a little on us. Before we knew it, the same young lady that waited on us at the counter, came with tools to clean up the mess. Although I apologized for making more work for her, she continued cleaning with her smiling, happy attitude and took care of the spill very efficiently. The young lady's name was Penelope. She deserves a raise, but everyone there probably does also because all staff we have ever had contact with were friendly and helpful. That alone is worth mentioning. The food was good. My double double lettuce wrap had a lot of lettuce on it and wrapped better than at any other place I have ever ordered one. I had asked for extra vegetables which they managed to tuck in there as well without losing continuity of the wrap. As we sat in very pleasant surroundings, noticing the cleanliness and brightness of the restaurant, we enjoyed our meal and left with a good feeling that In & Out remains a five star experience. read more

Probably the only in-n-out I like going to because they have no line. I mean they're busy but not busy enough to have to find a place to sit and stand in a long line. Came by here the other night for a quick burger. I was craving MEAT. They do a great job on burgers for the price...I don't think that they are any better than another place, I think it's more hype than anything else, but I do appreciate the fact that the owner is a patriot! Always a consistent delicious burger at a decent price. Been coming over here for awhile now and I'm surprised I've never written a review. Lately I've been eating inside as it's less busy than the drive thru and I can leave my mess and trash there. Service is consistently good although I've gotten a couple kids that will just stare behind the register and I have to make first contact. Awkward, but they're kids so I'll cut them some slack. I always ask for heavy onions and they never disappoint. The inside is always clean and the clientele are decent. Fountain drinks are always stocked and there's always ketchup in the dispenser. The food was great, per usual, but there was a man named Chris that took our order and he was extremely helpful in making sure that we got exactly what we wanted, and even told us the correct way to order it so that the next time we got exactly what we want. These burgers really surprise me. And there sauce for these burgers just really keeps you wanting more. I went and got two Double Double sandwiches with no tomato which were both animal style by the way and it had to be one of the most delicious burgers that is fast food that I have ever had. McDonald's, Jack in the Box and even Burger King are in trouble. And to compare to some Five star restaurants in the aspect of selling burgers this place may top. Never have a burger that isn't animal style I tell you. I would like to speak on there drive through though. It is unfortunate that they are in a location where the drive through stretches out so long that it is almost to the highway. I think if they can figure out a way to be able to push through faster or even expand to make the drive through smoother they could be a top organization for sure. Also there fries. This is the one thing that this organization has some troubles on and I can speak for many to say that their fries are not always the best. I've been needing to give the Hanford In-N-Out Burger a bad review for such a long time it's amazing I haven't done it yet. Today was the final straw with them. Never in my life have I had problems with incorrect/bad food at any other location (and I've been to A LOT) but the Hanford one is a consistent failure. It is an embarrassment to the franchise and needs a complete overhaul in the staffing department. I won't go into detail about the various incorrect orders, or the time they put a wet floor sign directly in front of a handicap man, preventing him from being able to get in the building, or the fact that my order total is different 98 percent of the time even though I never change what I order. Today, while in the drive thru line I observed an employee on her cellphone in plain view, on the line, barehanded. Not only was she on her cellphone directly next to another employee who was handling food, she proceeded to put down her cellphone and then handle lettuce with the same unwashed barehands that's were touching her personal cellphone. When called out for this disgusting behavior she said it was "scrap" food. "Scrap" food or not, don't use your cellphone on the food line or at least WASH YOUR HANDS after! We are in the middle of a global pandemic and this is NOT stopping the spread of Covid that's for sure! I ordered a protein style burger aka lettuce wrap. When I got to the window I was concerned about my food and the employee at the window told me they "accidentally gave my order to the car ahead" and I needed to wait. I waited about 15 min and got quite nervous since the barehanded cellphone chick was handling LETTUCE which is like 80 percent of a protein style burger to begin with. After receiving my protein burger and BURNT fries I left and didn't even eat my food. I was too nervous about what they could have done to it. I have contacted corporate and I hope they take this seriously. If anyone gets sick and ate at the In-N-Out Burger in Hanford, CA on July 4, 2020 we know who to blame. read more
