You thought for a second I'd forget to mention the name, did you? The Southwest Chicken Wrap kicked me in the face with flavor, and the spicy cheese balls came to play too. Next time, I plan to order the Mississippi Mud Pie, because I love chugging mud puddles and making stews out of them already. The decor was fab, but the one-man restroom nearly made me soil myself.

Honestly, that part was understandable, and we were prepared for a wait. We had a nice booth for five and ordered table fries, a few shakes, and five burgers. The fries were still excellent, and the shakes were great. Unfortunately, the burgers and service did not live up to the previous visit. My burger tasted more like stewed meat than seared beef, almost as if it had been sitting for a while. It was overcooked and under-seasoned. Our server was pleasant enough, but several sides, condiments, and modifiers were forgotten. Waters were never refilled, the table was not cleared, and a salad that had been misordered was not removed from the bill. I understand it was a busy night, but at around $40 per person for food at a burger place, I expected more consistency. I'll give The Field another try the next time I'm in town because our first experience was so good, but this visit was a letdown.
