Double-double Animal Style, French Fries, Pink Lemonade
    Ying X.

The famous California burger chain, a must-try, had a branch right next to our hotel at Hollywood! The line was still incredibly long at 1 AM. Double-Double Animal Style: The most famous item on the "not-so-secret menu," but I personally couldn't agree. The lettuce and mustard were excessive, and both were ice-cold, instantly cooling down the freshly grilled beef patty. Nothing else stood out. French Fries: Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a slight springiness when you bite into the crispy crust. The first time I'd ever had fries like this--amazing! Pink Lemonade: The best lemonade in the world! The sweetness of the strawberries and the freshness of the lemon were perfectly balanced, and the color was beautiful.

Food is great, we had to wait 20 minutes that's the bad part, the staff was great too, we were thinking how mane spreads we will want it and they just gave us a full hand. It was very crowded and a guy was fighting with the security, not sure why but the guy was recording him

This location is an absolute mess and is almost impossible to get in the parking lot and also the drive thru. The service is less than stellar our order was messed up 3x's and it was still incorrect and we finally gave up. There was couple guys that were getting in a fight in the parking lot with security having to go and get involved. It's not a vibe I am comfortable with bringing my family to.

This is apprently the one In-N-Out Burger that the movie stars go to after winning or just after the awards ceromony. The drive-thru moves fairly quickly for a small lot, but the design of the parking lot helps keep people in line. I would be back if cruising Sunset in the evening...

LA Staples for sure. Never got sick of it. Have always gone for protein style, sub the buns with lettuce. The animal style fries was another highlight, and if you fancied it less soggy, request for well done. It's pretty much freshly-cut fries served with signature I&O sauce and chopped grilled onions. Don't get overwhelmed by the line as it moves in lightning speed. We even found the waiting number doubled by the time we're there. As expected, with the affordable price and delectable taste, the outlet's always busy and packed almost at all times. Nothing fancy about the ambiance, but surely pampering the taste bud.

It's fast service, cheap, and absolutely delicious!! Get the fries crispy or even extra crispy.

Parking was rough here, as the lot was soooo full. Lots of waiting and not enough tables available. The bathrooms were gross and it wasn't even stocked up either. Service was fine. The customer service wasn't as friendly as you'd expect but the food came out fairly quick. Not a fan of the fries. But I feel this goes for all In N Out places where their fries are not on the crisp side but more of soggy or stale. Anyway, burgers were great, but wish they told my order correctly when I said "no cheese".

Literally the type of comfort food you crave all the time... omg. I definitely go out of my way.. a few times... when I'm in town to indulge in this guilty pleasure.

In-N-Out is a California staple whenever I come to visit. The food was hot, fresh and made to order. Staff were friendly, and worked really hard to push out the orders. This location appears to be one of the smaller locations I've been to. There are a few tables inside, as well as some outdoor seating. Parking can be tricky as this location sits on a busy road and the parking lot is small. There were three people with me, so 4 of us in total. I ordered a double, w/fries and a drink. They all ordered cheeseburgers, fries and a drink. $40 in total was a steal.

This was a part of my California bucket list: worth it! The fries and burger tasted really good, and were hot and ready to eat. The employees were kind and patient, extremely helpful to us even though there was a long line!

I've never been to In-N-Out. This was an immediate spot I wanted to try in LA. The food was DELICIOUS! The only disadvantage was it gets crowded for a couple of minutes and then it's empty. It makes it hard to find a seat. It's in a busy area though. I wish the burgers were bigger. There was a lot of people so it was crowded, but what can I say, the food is good, it makes sense. I would definitely go here again. :)

In-N-Out is always a classic, but the Hollywood location is hands down my favorite. I have been to plenty of In-N-Out spots and for some reason this one just tastes better every single time, even though technically it is the same menu. The burgers here are always so fresh, hot, and satisfying. One thing people should know is that there are off-menu customizations, and that is the best way to order if you already know what you like. I never do the regular double because it is just not enough for me. I usually order two 3x3 burgers. One I get with no onion, and the second I do even simpler with no onion, no lettuce, and no tomato, so it is basically just the bun, cheese, and three patties. I always ask for extra spread too because that is a must. Usually I get two spreads per burger and one extra for the fries, so my full meal comes with five spreads and I use every single one. What also makes this location stand out is how well they handle the crowds. It is always busy, but they have so many employees working that the line keeps moving fast and the whole place stays organized. Even when it looks packed, service is efficient and seating usually works out fine if you just pay attention and grab a table as people leave. For such a high-volume location, they do a really good job keeping things moving. Love In-N-Out, always will, and this Hollywood location is the one I keep coming back to. Easy 5 stars.

Yes I rec one d because it's in n out but geez be prepared to deal with a lonnng car line a long inside order line BUT bright side the line went by fast. I inside is not super clean but it's to be expected since this location is slammed.

Lots of staff but mostly talking to one another which may cause the slowness. I appreciate a fresh burger but the wait was longer than that. Three kiosks for self ordering (one down due to low battery) and a cashier for orders wasn't enough to keep up I guess and it wasn't even that busy. Service otherwise was friendly when we did interact with staff. Burgers were good and probably top 3 fast food burger I've had for sure. Fries were a little under cooked and soft, but can order well done next time. Cheese on top of fries were a nice touch though. Last but not least, the bathrooms. I get it's Hollywood but security seems to keep the homeless out so it's either disgusting customers wrecking the bathrooms or a lack of maintenance. Haven't had a Shake Shack burger in years, mostly because the locations are not that convenient and it seems that's the issue. New York or Hollywood, both high traffic locations are all I've tried. Too busy keeping up to work on the details or clean up I guess. They should take a page out of the in n out manual if they care at all about getting better.

I had a little trouble understanding the staff but once we were on the same page, everything was good. This was not bad; fries were decent and the burger was a big one. That's a lot of food for two people and well worth the price. The DH is as big as you could imagine. They cook it medium rare, which I love...that beast of a burger was so juicy, they should hand out gloves when eating it or at least a 3" high stack of napkins! You have a slight dry aged taste to it, but I am partial to the really funky dry aged. I am talking 45-60-100 day dry aged steaks, but this was just as good for a hamburger. The truffle fries were massive and could easily feed 3 people, maybe 4. We got there just in time to get the corner booth table and watch the line get longer and longer. The Amboy itself was good, nothing special and it reminded me of Bob's Big Boy hamburger sauce, which was a good memory to get back to.
