In general, I love a good In-N-Out Burger. This particular location is the one that I feel a lot of people think of when they see some Oscar winners grabbing some In-N-Out after the awards ceremony. It makes sense since it's a couple of blocks away from the Dolby Theater. So after having seen a show at the Dolby Theater, I wanted to come here specifically. But technically, some of those famous pics where you see people celebrating are also at the Westwood location... yes but either way who doesn't love a good In-N-Out meal. In-N-Out is always a classic, but the Hollywood location is hands down my favorite. I have been to plenty of In-N-Out spots and for some reason this one just tastes better every single time, even though technically it is the same menu. The burgers here are always so fresh, hot, and satisfying. One thing people should know is that there are off-menu customizations, and that is the best way to order if you already know what you like. I never do the regular double because it is just not enough for me. I usually order two 3x3 burgers. One I get with no onion, and the second I do even simpler with no onion, no lettuce, and no tomato, so it is basically just the bun, cheese, and three patties. I always ask for extra spread too because that is a must. Usually I get two spreads per burger and one extra for the fries, so my full meal comes with five spreads and I use every single one. What also makes this location stand out is how well they handle the crowds. It is always busy, but they have so many employees working that the line keeps moving fast and the whole place stays organized. Even when it looks packed, service is efficient and seating usually works out fine if you just pay attention and grab a table as people leave. For such a high-volume location, they do a really good job keeping things moving. Love In-N-Out, always will, and this Hollywood location is the one I keep coming back to. Easy 5 stars. read more

As soon as I landed in LA and checked in my hotel, raced over to In-N-Out to cure my burger fix during Friday around 1pm local time. It was chaotic order in the restaurant. I ordered the Double Double Animal Style with a Cherry Coke and fries - putting the dining plan on hold for the vacay weekend. Delish. Their ingredients are so fresh. I wish you were in the Carolinas!! As a side note, once I got my food I walked around for 10 minutes, given every table was full and half of them occupied by people who were waiting for food (wait times were app 20 mins). Thankfully, an older couple from Delaware noticed me who were also holding a table and said, " young man, you take our table, you have your food." Of course 5 stars, In-N-Out is the best. This location is very busy and probably mostly tourists visiting the Hollywood area. Parking lot is always packed, inside is packed, outside is packed. These sound like they could be negatives, but it is a vibe, just enjoy some great food and take it all in. After all we have some of the best weather here in So Cal. No matter what you get, you can't go wrong with the taste, quality and consistency of the burgers, fries and drinks. Being from Michigan, I had to experience my very first In-N-Out trip- and at the Hollywood location visited by many after the Oscars mind you. It was super busy and chaotic inside but the service has the process down pat, so food came out quick. I don't eat meat but you can order the burger as a grilled cheese and it is surprisingly yummy and filling- all the fixings. Got the animal style fries which weren't my favorite- didn't care for the hardened cheese. My coworker (I wasn't there, I was at our workplace, and he doesn't have a yelp account, but since we went Dutch/were gonna split the cost/I gave him the money to go to the in n out to get us food. We paid in cash. I feel it's okay for me to post this review on his behalf), went to this in n out today around noon/lunch time, to get us food for our lunch break. He ordered us both a double double, and an order of fries. He was texting me what happened at first (We work down the corner at the buzzfeed building) saying he lost the order receipt, and didn't remember what the order number was. I told him just go up to the counter and say what the order was, and it's fine. He spoke with the manager and from what he told me she was extremely rude/extra/fake, basically accusing him of lying (in the time she was asking for a receipt he clearly said he didn't have anymore/someone stole, they could have just remade the two burgers and fries) and she handed him an empty in n out bag, and said call the customer service number. He got back to our office, and he is Autistic so it's hard for him to relay and explain things, but he told me everything that happened, as prior we were just communicating through texts. So we're supposed to starve, not get our food, and possibly wait several weeks to maybe get compensated by In N Out by them giving us gift certificates or whatever. That's not the point. REMAKE THE FOOD. This is like twilight zone level stuff, and my coworker he's a Black gay man, I'm a Black Bisexual woman, and I always felt some type of racial bias to this location. White people, Latinos and East and West Asians that come in get treated well, but Blacks get the shaft, and my coworker told me the security guard (who was a Black man as well go figure, trying to score points) was yelling at a Black woman for taking pictures of the employees at the counter, which people do all the time, how do you think the photos on this review page got there in the first place?
