I can appreciate the fact that vegan fast food places are on a rise, and Monty's is a prime example of one of these chains! It is a wonderful alternative, whether you are vegan and looking for a quick eat, or not vegan and are looking for something good to eat. Although pricy, the food is so good and definitely worth a try. The side sauces they have compliment the burgers so well!! I ordered their single patty burger (9/10) and a bit of their chicken sandwich (10/10). Fries and tater tots are a must. I would like to try their grilled cheese next! The interior design is pretty small, but it also looks really cool. Service was good, no complaints :)

We were looking for food in the evening and this place caught our eye. It's a small diner and I like the vibe. At first we didn't realize it was vegan but we were famished and still down. We all got the Double Single with 50/50 (fires & tots). It was really good. I'm glad it was Impossible instead of Beyond (cause it's tastes like cardboard). Vegan is not for everyone. One of my friends didn't like it even though he finished his food. But he really liked the fries and tots. The guys working were hustling behind the counter and they were fun to talk to.

Great lemonade! I'm a snob (btw)

Cuties girlies serving the most delish burgers and tots! They had a lunch special that was perfect and even welcomed my sweet dog Samsun in! Great vibes, pumping rock tunes and delish eats! I'll be back.

Whenever I drive by, I would see a long line and have been wondering what's the hype from all the vegan and non-vegan peeps. Being my first order, I decided to go with the double Cheeseburger, Strawberry Milkshake, and Tater Tots. I loved all of them! The Double Cheeseburger was prepared neatly and it tasted pretty good! I was pleasantly surprised. I am not vegan but I can vouch and say it did scratch the itch of my cravings for a burger which most likely would have been super thick and heavy. I can't say this is just like an actual real burger because it's not and definitely has a different flavor. But his is the best vegan burger place I've tried yet and I would order again! Their house sauce is similar to In-n-out. I appreciate they include pickles in the burger providing the crunch factor. The cheese on my burger was spectacular on the burger, super gooey and melt in your mouth-wow! The strawberry milkshake was super good! Creamy, thick, a lot of strawberry, and loved the whipped cream with the sprinkles! This actually tasted like a regular milkshake! I wouldn't have known this was vegan at all. Tator Tots were perfection. Crunchy and cooked well! Yum! Overall, I get the hype of Monty's especially for the vegans. Their overall menu is pretty well-rounded with unique choices which I respect instead of just copying the fast-food chains. I do have to say I think the price should be marked down a dollar or three to make this my go-to. If I'm in the mood/ in the area, I would definitely get my same order again and try the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich or the tenders!

The ambience was clean, services were face however the food was not as described by a lot of the reviews. I paid $33 for two double burgers. They don't have gluten free options for the bread, the biggest concern as my diet has been restricted, they use vegetable oil. Just because it's "vegan doesn't mean it's "healthy" or "healthier". The vegetable oil is highly processed. For the price point my expectations were bigger. The place was clean, staff was kind. After I ate, the food hurt my stomach. I read a review where someone said it's the vegan in n out burger, unfortunately that comment is misleading and not true. I'm not angry writing this review. Few things can get improved. I would not go back to this location unfortunately. The burger was cooked well however, the taste was very plain.

Super friendly staff! The cheeseburger with fries was so good! It's on the pricey side, so it was definitely a treat!!! Also, I got really lucky with free street parking...in Ktown?! whuuuut?!

They tricked me My knowledge of this place was that I saw their food truck at the No Values punk fest out in Pomona in 2024. Was at the Wiltern for a show and seemed like a good place to eat. And it absolutely was. It was a "dirty" burger stand with uncomfortable stool seating, a great view of the grill and employees way cooler than my mid 40's self because let's face it I don't know who 2hollis is. Added bonus by the way - they give out free stickers which made my kids who are not old enough to know who 2hollis is very happy. Anyways the food was super tasty. My lady and my I split a chicken sandwich, double burger and 50/50 basket. This is how uncool I am. Started with the chicken sandwich and it was awesome. The burger tasted like....what the what it's a veggie patty This was when I leaned this place I guess doesn't have meat. Tricked me haha. It was all super delicious and I can't wait to return

This is a BURGER. If you are tired of veggie burgers and miss that OG meat patty, this is as close as it gets! From the milkshakes to the fries, everything was so nostalgic.

It's sad how the food quality has been bad. I haven't order for a long time so I decided to get something tonight and I regret it. I got the dog pile with tater tots for $17 + tax. The whole things was to oily I could finish. It comes with 2 "burger" patties and they were burnt at the bottom, also they didn't put any sauce on it. Maybe it's because they had to get ready in 10 min but this was terrible and dry.

What's supposed to be a vegan hotdog?

This is beyond ridiculous I mean, have some pride in the food that you guys are serving. Not only does this look like it was thrown against the wall, but literally every time I order from you guys online I asked for ketchup, you guys give me a mountain of fries, but never any ketchup Jesus Christ...

I got the double good burger with fries and nashville hot chicken sandwich and they both were delicous! Smacking! 10 out of 10 for both, tbh the nashville was one of the best vegan chicken sandwiches I ever had. I also really enjoyed the sodas - The Dr. Monty's and Cherry Bomb flavors were good mixed and also by thereselves to, a big plus you get free refills! I like the old school burger joint set up with the stools and counter being so close to the grill you could watch em cook. I had a really good chat with the assistant manager Riley, he was mad kind and helpful and shout out to the other staff members behind the counter as well. I'll most definitely be back next time in LA!!! So fire!

I had the pleasure of attending an event catered by Monty's Good Burger's food truck tonight, and I have to say, everything was outstanding! I went with the single cheeseburger, and wow--this was hands down one of the best plant-based burgers I've had. The pickles were perfectly tangy and added just the right touch to each bite. My son had the chicken fingers, and he devoured them--super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just like they should be. Both of us loved the tots, and the fries were crispy and flavorful. Now, the sparkling lemonade deserves a special mention. It wasn't too sweet, just the right amount of fizz, and it's been on my mind ever since. It's honestly a drink I could keep going back for. The biggest surprise of all? Everything was vegan! I couldn't believe how much it tasted like classic comfort food (the burger even reminded me of In-N-Out). All in all, Monty's Good Burger is a must-try if you're into delicious plant-based food that doesn't compromise on flavor.

Hot dog and tot combo. Only 9.99 with a drink.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I'm a vegan who has been craving a hotdog lately. I went in to Monty's and got the hotdog combo with the tater tots and a cherry bomb. This meal did not disappoint. The meal was so delicious and soooo satisfying. My tots were fried to perfection and my hot dog brought back memories while tasting fabulous and meat free. I give this meal a TEN plus. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cute and pleasing to the eye. The staff are great as well as the service. Love this place!!!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. First, the place is located right across from Howlin' Rays in Chinatown. So parking is all around, which is nice. There was a line, to be expected with a top 10 burger, but the line moved pretty fast. I ordered the Amboy DH burger, which is their dry aged patty with American cheese, caramelized onions, pickles and burger sauce on a sesame seed bun. To be ranked as high as it is, my expectations are through the roof and, because of that, it did not meet the expectations. The never is very good, very thick ass well, and the bun had great flavor. What threw it off, for me, was the pickles. The pickles just did not mesh with the other flavors. The pickle is just very potent and dampens all the other great things going on in each bite. Bites that did not have the pickle were so much better. So I would say to get it without the pickle and I feel it will be exponentially better. The being said, while it is a good burger, I feel there are others in LA that beat it in terms of flavo, but I'll put it in my top ten in LA for sure.

Solid smash burger!!!!! Nuff said. I was sad they ran out of hand pies and that I because it was the end of the day. Need to come earlier for them.

Excellent beers on tap for $5-$6 and even an espresso martini for like $14. Chicken sandwich was always on point and also a big fan of the Morrison Trio. Owner was always pleasant and the servers were top notch. I never had an item on the menu that was not delicious. And I tried just about everything on their rotating happy hour menu. I remember they were selling $10 Don Julio 1942 shots one time because it was Cinco de Mayo week. Great times and memories made at this restaurant. Holiday decor was always great to see especially during Halloween. A true loss. Bring it back please! If there are any Dodgers fans out there with a good pregame spot, please reply with recommendations seeing how I do not have one anymore.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. The wings and drinks themselves were super flavorful and I thought I would have more time to enjoy and come back to visit while in town. My partner also tried their burger and fries and decided to stop by the restaurant only to find out they closed a couple of months ago. It was worth the visit when we went there back in December.z The place was cute and it felt comfy.

Waited another 10min, while I saw other people picking up orders, so I checked in again. Same response, not ready yet. Another 10min passed by, now I'm seeeing people who came after me get their orders before me. Asked the staff again for my order status. The order pick up window person shouted my name to the kitchen each time I checked in. Finally the 3rd time they responded, they start arguing, apparently my order was done a long time ago, and it was given to someone else. It took 30min to figure out that my order had already been done and given to someone else because there was no communication between the kitchen, order staff or pick up staff. no apology, just got my food after the argument 3minutes later...Food was average, definitely not worth a 30min wait.
