Went with a pretty large group on a Saturday evening and the staff sat us pretty quickly. I ordered the smashburger and added on "my girlfriend is not hungry," which had an insane amount of fries, onion rings, and a few mozzarella sticks. The sides here are huge so it was good to share with others at the table. The onion rings had perfect batter and the fries were thin and crispy how I like! When you get in the really small lot and don't want to park on your own, there is valet. Otherwise you would, have to wait on those that self parked or circle the block a few times. When you enter, it is confusing as there is signage for Love Hour, but that is the take out window only for to go orders. Maybe have another sign pointing the direction of Love Hour would help. When I walked in, there was no designated host. It is a lot more casual than expected. someone came up to me and I said "Hi. I have a reservation for 2 under Marie." The server asked, "What's the name under my reservation?" i was confused, but maybe he didn't hear me well. When we were about to be seated, the server looked around and saw 2 empty tables and asked us where we wanted to sit and I said that anywhere was fine. It seemed like that there isn't a clear system on how they seat guests. The food was full of flavor and very comforting. I got the Fried Chicken and it was so crispy on the outside with a small kick of spice and juicy and tender on the inside paired with a housemaid curry sauce. It was really tasty. I also ordered My Girlfriend's Not Hungry sides which was a fun upgrade and everything was cooked well. The steak on the steak frites just melted in your mouth along with the gravy. It was such high quality. The bar did a great job with the cocktail which was so light and refreshing. The entire service was a bit confusing as we had 3 different people help us. I don't even know their names because I don't think they introduced themselves. The lady server was really sweet and full of good energy. She checked on us a few times after the food was served. The other 2 seemed lost. When the steak frites was delivered, they forgot the steak knife. I had to call for water multiple times as the cups are really small especially with the heat we have now. When we were finished, I wasn't sure how to pay, I thought I had to get and pay at the register. I stood up and was still lost on how to pay until I was able to get ahold of server. Came in to use the photo booth but there was a like so decided to have a drink while we waited. Service was quick and only disappointment was no slushies that day but other drinks were also just as good. Drink came pretty fast. the vibes inside are super chill. Even with the open door you can't see the hustle and bustle of ktown outside which is nice. Not a lot of parking so gotta find parking elsewhere. Dang I miss the setup of the former Love Hour pre-renovation. Staff and bartenders were really great and kind but not allowing to eat at bartop at a bar restaurant is one of the most insane rules. Staff seemed conflicted and uncomfortable to explain the WHY of it when we'd point out it's a very silly rule that's probably losing a decent amount of diners/drinkers. Outside was too hot to sit and so we were essentially were waiting around at bar top for tables to open up watching everyone eat around us. No one was sitting at the bar because they wouldn't be able to eat. We saw people leave who wanted a drink and a bite but couldn't due to the full tables. For this formerly being a beer bar, the new beer selection is very small and quite abysmal. Get Blue Moon off the menu, this isn't 2011. With so many great local beers, this was a bizarre one to see on there. Hopefully the new owners improve overall operations of this place. The inside is quite roomy with plenty of seating while the outside area stays lively and crowded. The bartenders are very friendly and provide great service. The double burger is a standout for 11 dollars. It has a unique and delicious flavor with a slight hint of curry. This taste might come from the mustard but it works perfectly with the meat. The pickles are very crispy and provide the right amount of acidity to balance the meal. It is a top tier Koreatown burger. RAW CHICKEN NUGGETS. My fiancé and I used to always go there before the remodel and went to try out the new version. We ordered their chicken nuggets and the chicken was raw. We each only ate one but now I worry about the salmonella I'm ingesting. They gave us new nuggets after letting them know but they were super burnt. I don't know if they were being thorough or passive aggressive. We each ordered the double smash burger but I ordered mine with no pickles. I waited a long time for mine. I saw my fiancé's burger and every side we ordered arrived before my burger. I had to remind them. When it finally came, it had pickles. Not slices. Big chunks of pickles. I got the garlic Parmesan flavor added to the onion rings but I didn't taste much of it, so probably just stick with regular next time. There's a bar right next to the burger window. Chill place to have a beer or drink. Inside there's booths for seating. A few TVs to watch a game. Additional seating in the patio area. Service was good. Friendly staff. Just found love hour despite living in the area for almost a year and my partner living here for almost 8 years!! I wish they had better signage or advertising because I wish I would've known about them sooner. The sour cream and onion fries are out of this world. They remind of five guys in terms of how generous the portion sizes for the fries are! I loved their single burger as a lover of raw onions there were so many and it was delectable. If you don't LOVE onions you may want to ask to go light. My only tiny complaint is the chicken sandwich was a little dry but this could be fixed by asking for a little extra sauce. I went to Love Hour in Koreatown which is a fun bar that also serves really good smashburgers. I got the triple smashburger with onion rings and it was huge and so good, honestly 10 out of 5 stars, I would say it is on par with For The Win. The onion rings had the perfect batter, easy 5 out of 5, and my friends ordered the chili cheese fries which came in a generous heaping portion for the price. The regular fries were really crispy and nicely seasoned too, another 5 out of 5. You order from the window outside and there is a patio where you can chill and eat, inside is a bar with curated cocktails. I tried the Lusty Lady, a lychee sour with egg whites, and it was super good, 5 out of 5, you can tell the bartenders know what they are doing. The order included multiple items, but one of the burgers was missing. Postmates did not provide an option to report the missing item or request a refund, and there is no phone number or direct way to contact the restaurant (I did send a message via Instagram but am not optimistic about a response). As a result, the only way to address the issue would be to go to the location in person, which defeats the purpose of paying extra for delivery. They also close in 5 minutes and won't be open again until 5pm on Wednesday (3 days from now). The items that arrived were correctly prepared, but the missing burger and the lack of support options created a significant inconvenience.
