My friend Katrina and I was so hungry so we stopped by last minute before heading back to Dallas. I got a double double animal style with grilled onions without the lettuce, tomato, and onion with animal style fries. Katrina ordered the double double with everything without onions and regular fries. I'm not used to the wait compared to other fast food restaurant. But it was okay. Or food came out and it was nice and hot. It seemed really fresh. I was happy with my burger however Katrina's was a little bit more pink more on the raw-ish side. So I asked for another one for her. And it came out perfect, they also offered us a new batch of hot french fries! It wasn't necessary, we said no but they insisted. We both enjoyed our food but I think we both agreed to just get regular fries without animal style. Overall, this location was great! The customer service at this location is on point. Very friendly/fast staff that take pride in making customer service their top priority. With that being said, the food at this location is not that good. I don't know what it is, but it just doesn't taste fresh here. I've been to the location in downtown Fort Worth and loved my double double and animal style fries there. At this location, the fries tasted old/stale/fake. I don't know how else to describe it, it just wasn't that good. The double double I got here was OK. I've definitely had better. It was just lacking that freshness/wow factor that I know it has. This is my second time at this location and both visits have been OK. Again, the service was superb, food was just OK. I love In-N-Out so I know how good it can be. Ok, the long and short of it is that you have a good burger, but tasteless fries. The burger is tasty and I went Animal style with my double double and it filled me up like it should. Maybe something gets lost when a chain tries to make the move out of it's loyal base, because I have friends here in Texas that are from California and even they agree that the In-N-Out's here aren't the same as they are out there. Don't get me wrong, it's much better than your McDonalds and Burger Kings of the world, but Five Guys and Mooya still have it beat, especially with their fries. These fries aren't worth repeating, I'd do better with the frozen Ora Ida fries in the freezer section at my local Kroger. Tasteless and no seasoning, even the salt couldn't help them. But this location was busy and there was a steady stream of people coming in and going through the drive thru window, so they are not suffering and the staff is very friendly. Enjoy. read more

I was finally able to swing by an In-N-Out while on business in DFW, to taste the Kool-Aid my California friends always rave about, and the Kool-Aid just wasn't my flavor. That's not to say they don't make a good fresh hamburger. Everything was made well, looked good enough and wasn't overpriced. Interior of the place was spotless and the teenaged employees wearing paper hats were super excited to help me with my order. I'm just not a fan of Thousand Island dressing, which is a big part of their burger fame. Also, the burgers are fairly small if you're used to the giant Whataburger options. Each his own. Big fan of not so big, but fresh, burgers? Even bigger fan of thousand Island dressing on your burgers? You'll love In-N-Out. read more

If you happen to drive by and see a line of cars at the drive through don't let that deter you from this place. Thanks to their classic simple menu it's not that hard to make your options and the line is fast. I love how if I want to feel like I want to temporarily step into the 50s I can visit the drive through and get it out of my system. My order has always been 100% accurate and as far as the staff I'm like"where do they find these people?" But in a good way. It's almost like they are in character. The burgers taste like crap and that animal fries was not what I expected. Tasted horrible. Just had a great dinner at In-n-Out. I always know that the food is going to be good, but we had exceptional service tonight, and I want to recognize one of their staff members. When our order was up, a young man named Patrick brought the food to our table for us, and then circled back around with my son's shake. He was exceptionally courteous and friendly, even at a restaurant known for their courteous staff. When we were finished with our meals and started putting stuff on the tray to throw it away, Patrick was by our sides again, and very graciously offered to take our tray. Deserving of 2 stars and I'll tell you why In-N-Out Burger... The menu is so simple, limited, and straightforward I felt it should've been easy to elevate the products you do have! But it was to the contrary! Let's talk price... I got 2 burgers ( a double and a cheeseburger) and two cheese fries. The total was $15 without any drinks just water. That's incredibly taxing for no reason. Especially, when your burgers are so limited at that! And don't worry I'm going to go into that a little more. Now... Let's talk about the burger... It was very good, seasoned quite well, juicy, but really thin and that bothered me when we think back to the price and the fact that this is essentially your star and reason for existing. I want more of the Burger to come through and I can be done with a thicker patty. This Basic Burger can't possibly compete! It's just alright and I am annoyed that there is no other flavor combinations or how about other condiments like BBQ or Buffalo sauce or Honey Mustard available, just the lettuce, pickle, red ring of death ( pause: shout out to my Boii Dayme Drops for coming up with that) ketchup and mustard action isn't doing much either. And, the thousand island dressing-like spread is a weak sauce addition to the Burger too, let's be honest! In-N-Out Burger: Variety is key! And, I thought I'd save this lesson learned for last... Ok, I have to say that I am a lifelong Whataburger fan, but this place is terrific. When I am coming home late all the Whataburgers have long lines that take forever, so I started stopping here. Extremely impressive. The place is spotless clean every time, they have plenty of staff - like 6 people, and I'm talking at midnight or later. The staff is courteous, well-trained, and the food is great. I get the double cheeseburger - no tomatoes, and with onion, and it is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Their fries are cooked to order - hot and fresh and the fountain cokes are perfect as well - not too much co or syrup - brixed just right. He helped me take my food after I saw that I had more than two trays to my table. He also asked us "how was your meal?" And took our trash trays from our table after we were done eating. While being in town I needed to at least have In & Out a couple times! The majority of In & Outs I have been to, are pretty much the same or very similar - when it comes to layout, menu (obviously), parking, wait, seating, and customer service. Oh yeah... let's not forget the most delicious burgers and fries! Customer service was very good here. Friendly and helpful. We did not go during a super busy time, right before lunch rush hour. Luckily we were able to get our food relatively quick. I always order a hamburger with no tomato and grilled onions... yummy! I add in the yellow peppers that are by the ketchup, spicy but so good! Man I love me some In-N-Out Burger. I've been a fan for years and was so happy when they finally moved to Texas. The burger is a very good consistent burger. It's not going to change your life and it's not the best burger in the world but it is very good and has been very good every time I've had one and at every location that I've had one. Man, usually I take Yelp reviews as law and believe it 100%, but I have never disagreed so whole heartedly as I have with most of the previous Yelpers in this review. The burger is perfect, the only downside is the amount of lettuce, but I simply just pull some of it out and problem solved. Double Double, no cheese, onions, pickles, some lettuce, ketchup/mustard or secret sauce instead, you can't go wrong. As for the fries, this is what gets me the most when it comes to the other reviews. I don't know what people around here think are good fries but there sure aren't many that compare with In N Outs, that's for damn sure. They may taste different than what people are USED to since In N Out uses Kennebec potatoes, but they are no less amazing. I always get animal style fries, which is the fries with melted cheese, diced up grilled onions, and the secret sauce. Doesn't sound the most appealing and honestly did not look appealing the first few times I saw it but I finally gave in and tried it a few years ago with my best friend when I lived in California and it changed me. I top it all off with a large Coke and I have a pretty freakin filling lunch/dinner to contend with, but I always eat every last bite. For the record, and IMHO, giving a place a 1 star rating because you're annoyed with the drive thru speed is what a TRUE FAIL is. The fact that the lines are so damn long should speak for itself, I guarantee you will never see a drive thru from a chain or even most places period that gets THAT long during peak hours.
