So, honestly, it's nice to cross something off my bucket list. I got a cheeseburger, protein style (lettuce wrapped / no bun) the bf got the same, only with a bun a fries. He also got the lemonade. The Lemonade was a highlight. Actual real fresh squeezed lemonade. Niiiiice. The rest? Meh. I've never eaten at an In-N-Out burger, I've just always wanted too because The Big Lebowski is my favorite movie. I'll be reviewing it as a total outsider. They built this thing so blindingly fast, I could not believe it! And it's been HOPPING ever since the moment it opened. I went through the drive through, and it was so busy that people were taking orders in the parking lot. The menu is surprisingly small, this place ONLY sells burgers, fries and drinks. No onion rings, or chicken tenders or eggs. I like that. There is a bit of a learning curve to ordering with all the lingo, but it's really apparent what is the "standard order" stuff if you are open minded and want the full experience. The service was lightning fast, the staff was courteous and the place was clearly spotless. Yes it is new, but having worked at more than one place, and having opened a restaurant, you can tell In-N-Out is a clean place. We'll see how long that holds up. The staff wears paper hats, which is either throwback or demeaning, depending on your perspective. I'd freaking hate to have to wear that at work, but it is retro at this point. The food! I got a hamburger(because I don't know what a double double is and I wanted a frame of reference), fries, and a chocolate shake. The burger was surprisingly loose in the bottom of the bag, but secured in it's paper holder. I'm just used to reaching in there blind on the road, and I touched a naked bun! The burger was picture-perfect, and though it has a smallish patty, the balance they have stuck is just right for a fast food burger. Yeah, you'll get lettuce and tomato in noticeable amounts, but I didn't order a meatloaf sandwich. The balance was perfect. They don't come standard with onions, AFAIK, but I took the onions out of mine to try a few bites, and it was a major mistake--the onions MAKE this burger! How are people eating these without onions?? The sauce was too sweet, but I know people love sugar. I'm getting mine without next time. I was told it is "like thousand island", and it was just as gross. The fries were boring, and terrible. I googled it and it turns out this is a well known fact. They tasted like crispy oil, despite being from fresh potatoes. The ketchup is just Heinz, which is terrible ketchup. The shake was very sweet, and had a slippery-smooth thickness to it that I wouldn't call creamy. No discernable chocolate flavor(also no option for malt, but that is just my preference), and a somewhat un-appetizing sheen. I should also add that the meal gave me some serious bubble guts a few hours later, but I don't eat a lot(read: any) cheap fast food, so maybe it's just the sudden onslaught that got me. Clearly it was not the sanitation, just a lot of fat and sugar. I think this place is nothing special, other than it appears pretty clean, and they are run like a well-oiled machine. I will give it another chance soon, as I always do, but if it's the same experience, it won't be on my list of places to grab a lunch on the go. It deserves 3 stars instead of 2 because it isn't pretending to not be a low end fast food joint, and they do what they do with an air of well-considered intentionality, even if I don't agree with the results. However it just didn't give me anything to come back to, other than the fact that I wanted to like the place, and it's old-school minimalist menu. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon around 3pm, it was pretty empty, not something we're used to seeing in regards to in n out. It's usually always packed at every other location I've been to in California and Nevada. Excellent food as always, can't say much else. Good amount of parking and friendly staff as always, never really have complaints of any in n out. read more

Ok I heard alot about this place and was curious! Had to check it out! First off ever see "The Stepford Wives"? well the kid behind the counter must have been one of their offspring! Seriously I wanted the bite the happy right off this kid! I never thought anyone could be that nice! It scared the crap out of me! I thought animal style was loads of mustard and pickles but that's okay that it had what appeared to be thousand island dressing on it. Still very tasty. Went there for the first time, and I would give it a 5 star review for the burgers alone, but the fries were just terrible. I ended up giving them to my dogs sadly. They were dry, somewhat powdery (yeah strange huh?) and would just crunch into dust. Maybe I went on a bad day? I dunno,... but the service there was amazing! Very polite staff and it made me realize how bad drive through service typically is when I visit other places. Either way, I will go there for the burgers alone... since the menu pretty much only gives you the option of a drink, burger, and fries anyways. Still think Burger Street is better. For what it is, it's A-OK. My firstborn is a fan, based on time spent in California, so he wanted to stop in on a recent visit to metroplex. Service was very good, restaurant was very clean. Not so easy to get to due to construction, but this too shall pass. Worth a stop if you want a quick, no-frills burger and fries. But don't go expecting Mayo! read more

In & Out Burger is one of my children's favorite places to go!! We were just there today and this lady gave us the wrong hamburger and my daughter asked them if they can give them the right one because he ordered one without sauce! This young Lady just told my daughter to take off the sauce herself... she said "well we're just going to remove the sauce and we will not make a new one so might as well take it off yourself!!" Love it. Make their fries fresh. Food tastes good and is not ginormous portions like other places have. Good eating atmosphere also. Prices are not too bad either. Service is also great. Glad they came to Texas! The thing people don't realize about in-out is its actually better and healthier compared to others ( not that burgers and fries are healthy). We are used to such bad food with high amounts of sugars and other junk chemicals that we have forgotten what food tastes like. People saying McDonald's is better are saying it because they have become acclimated to eating high amount of sugars and salts. read more

Tried it a couple times and I like it. The place inside is clean, the cashiers friendly and the prices are so reasonable. I would like to see them having a bit more choices on their menu. Their drive-thru takes about 5-7 minutes so it's not bad. I look forward to trying their animal style fries next and a vanilla milkshake. I recommend coming here. read more

I eat at this In-n-out a few times a week. As a native Californian, I cannot get enough. I am addicted, and there is no cure. The burgers always hit the spot after a long day of work and the best is that they are open whenever I close my store. The sauce is what really defines In and out. I don't usually take the time to leave reviews, but after my visit to this location, I felt a need to do so. I have been eating in n out regularly now for about 34 years. I feel fortunate, 3 of the 4 states I have resided in had in n outs, which is awesome! The service at this store, was exceptional. The employee who took my order was extremely friendly, and helpful. Another employee stopped by my table twice, to see if I needed anything. For only the second time, in 34 years, I had a complaint, that my fries were not cooked enough. I took them to the counter, and the gentleman cooking, apologized,smiled, and made a fresh order, just the way I like them, and delivered them to my table. Full disclosure: I was born and raised in So Cal so I grew up eating In-N-Out. Always loved it and always will. Burgers are fresh, fries are fresh and the service is some of the best in the biz. The secret menu is fun to order off of (oh, you didn't know about that?) to customize your order. The company actually pays its employees very fairly and has great benefits, too. I had an old friend who passed away while working there and the company paid for his funeral expenses. What other company is going to do that for its employees? To the people who believe that overpriced Five Guys and Whataburger are better than In-N-Out, you really need to up your standards. Those places are just...bleh. read more

Nom, nom, nom, nom........ We moved from Southern California to Spokane Washington where good eats are hard to find. During our visit to Texas, we went to this In and Out and we were completely satisfied and back in burger heaven. The guy who greeted us and took our order was super duper happy. The restaurant was clean and became busy by 11:00 am. The staff also made sure to clean up regularly. We were there about 25 minutes and the eating area was cleaned twice during that time to ensure all tables were clear. If you have to wait - it's totally worth it!! read more

My expectations were too high! I was told this is the best fast food burger I would ever have the pleasure of eating. It was good, it just didn't blow my mind. The sauce was a little bland and even though these are the freshest fries you can get from a fast food place they somehow taste greasy and stale to me. I don't know the secret menu so I feel out of the loop. It seems like if I am not ready with my order right away and have a question the staff seem kind of annoyed. This place is my favorite. I grew up in San Diego and ate here once a week for many years. I can not say enough good things about it. Try the animal style fries and of course make sure your burger is animal style too. My children like the grill cheese and we also enjoy their shakes! In-N-Out is what it is and most people either love it or hate it. If you're from California, you probably love it (or at least like it). I like it; I don't love it. I lived in SoCal for twenty years and probably averaged eating at In-N-Out two or three times a year. I like that In-N-Out specializes in burgers and fries and that's all they do. As far as fast food burgers, it's my opinion that In-N-Out is at the top of the food chain. Everything on the bun is quality. I like that the burger comes loaded with veggies (you can order without; it won't hurt my feelings...) that are fresh, crisp and as much a part of the sandwich as the meat. I like that the In-N-Out restaurants themselves are clean and very well-maintained (wait til they've been here a while and you'll see what I mean). They're pleasant to eat inside and I like the white and red color scheme - it strikes me as a throwback to diner days. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome and glad you came in. I don't do burger and fries when I'm out and about too often (I tend to visit Mom-n-Pop Asian places), but I was in Hurst yesterday and saw the In-N-Out sign and was compelled to pull in. Last summer, I watched all the 'hoopla' re the In-N-Out openings and long lines and was somewhat amused. It's fast food for crying out loud. But whatevs.... Anyway, I pulled in and was going to do the drive thru. The line was long, but not killer long, but I changed my mind and parked (there was plenty of parking at 1 PM on a Monday) and went in. I'm glad I did as I was instantly reminded of why I liked In-N-Out so much when I lived in SoCal. There's that same feel and aroma when you walk through the door. I ordered the number three combo (burger, fries, drink) and found that it was just like I remembered. Tasty burger. Crispy (although too salty for me) fries. I will say that I don't like mayo on a burger nor any kind of sauce that it mayo-like and next time I'll order my burger with mustard. I'll also order my fries without salt since you can get your food any way you want. The burger wars? If you're from TX, In-N-Out probably isn't better than Whataburger.
