In n out is always the best and of course, our family's favorite for delicious burgers, fries and shakes. But today, I came to this location in Newhall. I thought it was a good time because there were not a lot of customers. I was the only one at the line. I stood in front of 2 associates who were telling stories for almost 2 minutes before asking me what I wanted to order (strange because never experienced this at any in n out). I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions to eat in my car. When I started eating the cheeseburger in my car, the bun was burnt (or super toasted), the patty was harder than usual and no grilled onions. I went back and told them about it and they willingly replaced it but I had to wait another ten minutes. So I would say I spent more than 30minutes to get this cheeseburger. not a usual experience here at in n out but definitely not a happy experience when you're hungry and trying to get back to work quickly. read more

I waited in a very EMPTY line of IN N OUT Burger over here at the Old Road location of Stevenson Ranch CA. 1 or 2 customers, including myself waited too long for food. For almost a dozen minutes, more than a busy and packed setting at other locations wasted my time! The employees at this location are laughing in the background enjoying a slow moment and small number of customers compared to a busy day with lines of cars extending out onto the main streets. Horrible service when I came to this location. Especially because they posted a sign that told me to pay at the next window and I was waiting too long here until a car behind me finished an order and I thought I should move forward after staring at a sign telling me to pay where I was at. Ok I'm going to right off the bat admit it's weird for a vegetarian to give In-N-Out a 5 star review...but this is the world we live in in now. I've been getting the "Grilled Cheese" for decades now and at some point in my history starting adding veggie burgers to it (Morningstar Farms Grillers and more recently Impossible Patties.) There's something perfect and incredibly indulgent about the taste at In-N-Out...the cheese, the onions, the pickles...slap an Impossible patty on the Grilled Cheese, add fries and I feel like an honest-to-goodness American. It's really good. My go to is both whole-grilled and whole-raw onion, add pickles, and sub the sauce for ketchup and mustard. We sometimes get it to go in the drive-thru, or sometimes we'll dine in...I'll bring my cooked Impossible Patty and add it right at the table. The fries are still hot and crispy then. I love In-N-Out. This one is about 5 minutes from my house. Don't be like those people who try to enter the drive-thru the wrong way on The Old Road. read more

You can never go wrong with In N Out beside coming after lunch because they will be busy. My friends and I stopped by this In N Out because we were nearby at a range. We came an hour after they officially open so we figure they wouldn't be as busy. I found parking alright but just remember to not park near the drive thru lane because you might get stuck. When I went inside, the order line isn't that long so it can extend out the door during busy time. I got my 3X2 protein style burger with chopped chili and made it into a full meal. Make sure to confirm your order because the person taking your order might not put it in right like I experience. I'm happy that they added cherry coke as an option for the soda. I found a table inside and we dine in. It didn't take long for my number to be called and my burger was delicious. They usually don't make the presentation of the 3X2 protein burger looking good so I didn't expect that. The workers here are friendly if you need any help and the bathroom is near where the ordering line is. read more

Other times, my Double-Doubles weren't mustard-fried or missing pickles, and once they gave me a regular cheeseburger instead of a Double-Double. Each and every location seems to be pretty much the same -- an identical menu, always busy and delicious affordable burgers and fries. They have a very simple menu, which is basically just burgers, fries and drinks. However, do keep in mind that they will be glad to customize your burger however you might wish. We stopped here on a road trip, and this In-N-Out was a 10/10 experience! As soon as we walked in, the restaurant looked spotless. The staff was incredibly friendly, and even with our somewhat complicated order, they got everything right They even repeated our order back to us to confirm, which we really appreciated. The team worked efficiently and seemed to have great management. No one looked stressed, and they treated every customer with kindness. The workers were constantly restocking and keeping everything clean, so nothing ever ran out, and no one had to ask for anything. The bathrooms were also spotless, with plenty of stalls, so there were no long lines. And, of course, the food was amazing--exactly what you'd hope for from an In-N-Out! It's the must to have burger if you visit California!!!! I can't get over this burger and I lived in California between the north and the south for around 20 years. I would try to avoid lunch time or dinner time as the line is crazy if you are hungry. One time it took us one hour to get our turn to order then 30 min to get to the window to get our food. Most of the time restaurants are clean but when they get super busy you have to get someone's attention to get the table cleaned if you don't want to clean it by yourself. I never found an In-N-Out I didn't like...that is, until my first visit to this Newhall location. After my wife driving me all the way back the 11 miles to Oak Tree Gun Club to retrieve my driver's license; yeah, I walked out with their badge around my neck, totally forgetting my license. I was suffering from a severe case of hunger pains as we were headed back home. Mercifully In-N-Out came into view. So the guy taking our orders helped to move the not too lengthy line efficiently along; the setup of this drive-thru could easily back up into the busy street. I ordered the Double Double with cheese combo, including a pink lemonade. She just wanted her usual; Double protein burger with no cheese. But sharing my fries. And as the order was handed to her, my wife's protein burger was noticeably missing. A regular Double Double replacing it. When she brought it to their attention, it couldn't be returned. But they did have us pull to the front until the proper order was completed; about a 5 minute wait. Three burgers for the price of two now. And as we pulled away, here's where I found disfavor with them: my lemonade was totally watered down, something I never experienced at multiple other locations. Next were the fries; rather mediocre and no salt in the box. In-N-Out always provides salt with their orders of fries even without asking. But I still had my Double Double! Well, that was okay but something was a bit off. And I was really hungry; stomach grumbling hunger! Newhall In-N-Out I'm hurt. I didn't think any location could disappoint me so.
