The gentleman told me to head over to the screen to order from any of the restaurants located there. The people working the front, they get a notification and go pick up the food from the various other restaurants inside. Once I ordered, it took about 10 minutes to receive my food. It tasted freshly made. The smash burger was crisp and hot. The burger bread was buttery and moist, not dry. The thin fries were slightly seasoned. The soda was a fountain drink with light ice (very good, unlike other places where they fill up the cup with ice). Also, once the food was ready, I also received a text message that it was ready. Safe bet. aka Delicious Burger. I decided to try this place on my birthday. You can get caught up in the minutiae of this place being a food hub which is a "new wave eating experience" but I think Yelp reviewers want to know flavor, and the "double quickie" I had, had just that. Good smashed burger with crispy beef patties that taste freshly cooked off a black top griddle. The cheese melds well, and the carmelized onions are long and stringy and give the needed texture to the burger. Pickle for acidity. Magnifique. What more do you need? Also: The fries were delicious and freshly cooked and salted too and echoed in n out fries(ish) flavor and texture, but had twice the quantity. I'm not a burger guy per se, but I do enjoy good food, and this is a great quality burger ESPECIALLY compared to what is out there ESPECIALLY online for delivery. Price is about "market", which is fair, and I say pull the trigger if you are cool with that. We just got home from that place and we are still talking about how juicy their smashed burgers are! We will come back again and again, their smash burgers are the best we have tried so far! OMG! The burger and the buns melt in your mouth! I highly recommend this place. Their patties are so savory in every bite. I will bring my grandparents here next time. *October 2025-Initially, I had a difficult time finding this place. Apple Maps showed the location, but there were no large signs outside. I eventually realized that Wanna Smash operates out of a virtual kitchen shared with several other "restaurants" offering a wide variety of food. Against my better judgment, I ordered two single-patty burger meals with fries and drinks for $40, which felt steep. After about 25 minutes, our food was brought out. We ate at a picnic table in the middle of an otherwise empty space, watching several people come in looking confused, asking how to order and how the whole setup worked. One couple took a pizza to go, but the other people left without ordering. The three employees I saw running things were genuinely friendly, and I'd give them 5 stars if I could rate them separately. Unfortunately, the food itself was uninspired. The burgers were served on generic store-brand buns with equally generic shoestring fries. There is nothing wrong with store-brand food, as that is exactly what I buy for home when I am trying to stretch my budget. When I go out to eat, though, I expect something more, especially when the total comes closer to $50 for two people. The meat was indeed smashed and not terrible, but overall it was something I easily could have made at home for far less money, and faster. I could be wrong but it appears that this "virtual kitchen," which also serves teriyaki, sushi, Italian and Indian food, is just trying to be too many things at once and it shows. ***Edited to add: After the owner's reply, I want to say that I do understand there are real people behind the scenes trying to make a living. With the cost of everything going up, I admit I can get grumpy when something feels expensive, and that definitely colored my reaction. I appreciate you taking the time to respond so quickly. Sometimes hearing the rest of the story really does give perspective. I should also add that my adult daughter absolutely loved her meal, the food was served hot, and the people working there were warm and patient. This place was hyped up on Instagram and just fell completely short. The food is overpriced $17 for a single smash burger, fries and small fountain drink. The service sucked and I have no idea at which stage of the process they failed at. My burger had no sauce so I went back in and asked for a side of it. The desk clerk went back and returned with no sauce and said the chef would bring it out. I waited at least 7 minutes when finally another clerk came and asked if I was waiting for food. I said no, just sauce I had already asked for. She went back and returned with a sauce and hoped I was eating there since there were no lids. By the time I returned to my table, my partner had finished eating and my food was warm, at best. There are plenty of other places in the Santa Clarita valley to get a better burger at a better price with proper service. We won't be returning. read more

Wanna smash burgers offers the cowgirl, the quickie, the hot heavy, the happy ending, etc. it's an amazing concept with even more amazing tasting burgers, I am in love and this is always my first option when it comes to burgers. Me personally has never liked BBQ sauce but something about the Cowgirl burger which has cheese, onion rings, bacon, and bbq sauce gets me everytime! I order that burger everytime I go and the bbq sauce is delicious and I always make sure to double it. It leaves me wanting more every time. I would eat this everyday if I could! Well I'll start by saying Jesse, the owner is amazing. I was having trouble with my payment and it overcharging me on the app, and he put down what he was doing to come and assist me as he saw I was overwhelmed and frustrated. He kept his composure even though I was being a little difficult. He went on to put my order in on the house because of my struggles. He then even went on to take my number to check in the following day, to see if I had resolved my situation. Jesse was kind, concerned, determined, and most of all just had the basic compassion for me when he didn't have to!
